+ -1 moreSee above. I dn't remember how much I spent. If you are unwilling to use this report as submitted,, after I broke into my work day to write the review, then you have a flawed policy and I will no longer bother writing reports.
Description of Work: Brought a number of samples. I picked one. Job completed in a reasonable time but a couple of panels had chips or weren't installed well. When I complained, they were replaced but the owner should have noticed and had them redone without my having to complain. Also, one or two appliances had to be shut down while they were working. When the workmen were done, I asked them to start the applicances. The owner hadn't shown the workmen or me what he was turning off, where it was located and how to turn them back on. I had to wait a couple of days until he returned to fix it.

+ -1 moreHe was excellent. He came on time and he was very clean. He tarped all the other rooms with plastic, moved the furniture and moved the furniture back. He gave me an estimate and it was better than other companies that had I looked into.
Description of Work: He sanded down and refinished two rooms and a hallway and put stain and three coats of polyurethane on them. He puttied some areas that were damaged.

+ -1 moreCarlos returned my telephone calls in a prompt manner and was on time for the estimate appointment. In fact, he returned to my house after I failed to show on time ( my wife was in the hospital and I was late driving back to the house). His appointment was on Saturday and he was able to do the job on the following Monday. He and his crew arrived on time Monday morning at 8:00 A.M. and worked until 7:00 P.M. with a short lunch break. They completed the job in one day. Carlos spent extra time making sure the floor was level.
Description of Work: Carlos and his crew of three installed approximately 60 square feet of solid cherrywood (3/4") in our master bedroom closet. He also custom made two reducer thresholds from the same wood as installed. The wood floor was sanded and sealed. In addition, he finished and installed shoe moulding in the closet.

+ -1 moreSeveral friends recommended Carlos to us, and he had an excellent report on Angie's List. His workers were fast and highly skilled, and he was on-site frequently during each day. It is a miracle that the new flooring perfectly matches the old flooring and is beautifully done! He found several boards that needed replacing which he did quickly. Their covering and taping of surfaces was perfect and we had no dust problems. Price is somewhat lower than other bids we received. The owner and his workers are courteous and friendly.
Description of Work: He installed hardwood flooring in the bathroom that needed to match hardwood floors in the rest of our 1950 house. He also refinished other rooms at a later date.

+ -1 moreCARLOS HAS INSTALLED OR REFINISHED HARDWOOD FLOORS IN EVERY SINGLE HOUSE I'VE EVER HAD. HE IS AMAZING. AFTER HE HAS FINISHED WITH THE FLOORS, THEY LOOK BRAND NEW, EVEN IF THEY'VE BEEN IN THE HOUSE FOR 50 YEARS. HE IS A MIRACLE WORKER AND HIS PRICES ARE VERY COMPETITIVE. I CAN'T THINK OF A BAD THING TO SAY ABOUT THIS GUY.
