GOLDEN STATE FLOORING & BR-111

BR-111 and Golden State charge very very high premium prices for the product, but much of it was unacceptable because delivered cut, scratched, damaged surfaces, even several boxes clearly damaged by a forklift truck. Obviously, Golden State provided second hand material that had been rejected by other customers. I endured many trips back to my dealer, who was very cooperative about getting replacements from Golden State. However, often the replacements were equally damaged goods. I called BR-111 in NYC, but the customer rep told me he would investigate and call me back. Guess what? I'm still waiting for his call after a month. Because of the terrible quality of so much of this expensive hardwood, my floor is still not complete after more than a month because of the difficulty in getting enough acceptable stair bull nose pieces from Golden State. I am disgusted with both BR-111 and Golden State and urge all readers not to do business with either of them.
