Golden Retrofit & Foundation Repair

Got quotes from many different companies for our EBB retrofit, and am very happy we went with Golden Retrofit. I met with Levy and he walked us through the whole process. The entire time, everyone we worked with at the company was prompt, knowledgeable, friendly, professional and so easy to work with. They made the process so easy. They even fixed a soft spot in our wood floors and did an incredible job. Highly recommend this company!

After we decided to have our home earthquake retrofitted, we contacted several businesses for estimates. We chose Golden Retrofit for the following reasons: 1. Communication was excellent and response time very prompt 2. Explanation of the process was very thorough 3. Pricing very good 4. They coordinating the permit process and took care of all the details and were on site when the inspection took place 5. They worked with our schedule to complete the project 6. They provided the necessary paperwork for our insurance company to process a reduction in our EQ insurance premium. We highly recommend Golden Retrofit. They were very professional, friendly, efficient, and cleaned up after the project was completed. Their pricing was also the best.

I highly recommend Golden Retrofit & Foundation Repair. They were very professional and provided knowledgeable advice in addressing my concrete slab floor/foundation water seepage and excess moisture issue. I requested an estimate online. Selena, the scheduler with a voice who could be on radio, was very cordial in setting up our appointment for inspection with a narrow time window of 10 to 11am. The day prior to the appointment, Selena called to confirm our time and date. The day of the inspection, David D. called to inform us he would arrive in 30 minutes and arrived at 10am sharp. David determined that our in house slab was at an acceptable tolerance level on all sides of our walls. He inspected the slab and suggested using concrete sealant to seal expansion gaps. David examined the exterior walls and ground of the affected slab floor/foundation and recommended redirecting (mostly) rainwater away from affected areas. He indicated he could recommend a handyman if we needed help with this. David was very knowledgeable and articulate in explaining how moisture barriers are installed, how concrete footings and slabs were laid which could contribute to water issues. He concluded that we didn't need his services at this time. David was honest and professional. In addition, David made time to inspect my neighbor's foundation issue. They had flooding in their sunken living room that David inspected accordingly. 3 other companies that are highly rated here did not respond to my requests for quotes. I will definitely go to Golden Retrofit & Foundation Repair for my foundation repair needs!

Golden worked with us during the holidays when things were pretty hectic and awful. We had just purchased our house knowing there was foundation issues that needed to be resolved. They have a great team that communicated with us throughout the first few weeks and worked with the plumbers to get everything done in a timely manner. Definitely went above and beyond our expectations. Their crew was courteous and left the job site tidy after each day. We will definitely use Golden in the future!

After the last few earthquakes that we’ve experienced I realized it’s important to ensure that my homes foundation is in good condition. Our home was built in the 40s and hasn’t had any work done on since. I contacted a few different companies and decided to go with golden retrofit because of their honesty and diligence. David came to our house to give the estimate and aside from it being the most reasonable one I also had an affinity towards him which inclined me to choose them even more.
