I had decided that my previous plumber had become too expensive, so I called Fred Morrow Plumbing for the first time - An employee came on time, completed the work, cleaned up and answered a few questions that I had about installing a new toilet after flooring was completed. The work was done to my satisfaction and the cost came to about $25.00 less than the estimate I received from Mr. Morrow. I later called the same company to install a new toilet - I was completely satisfied with the work and the price.

They came out that afternoon. They were really good. They did a diagnosis on the phone. They did follow up. The price was good. What he quoted over the phone was what it was. The pressure is down and the valves are not leaking.

They did a wonderful job for me, they made two different trips. They are a reputable company so you would have to be willing to pay for good service and that's what you will get. The plumbers have experience, they are bonded and insured. The guy who was working for me had been doing this for 30 years. It just doesn't get much better than that, people might complain that their rates are high but I don't think they are much higher than anyone else with equal qualification. I don't mind paying for their service. They were terrific and exactly what I needed. Fred, the owner, was calling me to make sure everything was okay. He cared that much.

The plumber arrived on time and was very courteous and quick. He had the part on hand which was great. The whole thing took about 20 minutes. My only criticism was that the plumber wreaked of smoke and the house stunk for a while even after he left.

I wanted to replace our old toilet with a more efficient water saving model. We were having a huge party and Fred was able to schedule the work before our guests arrived. The technician did a great job, cleaned up, and was polite. This is the second time I used this company. I will use them again.

They arrived in the appointed time. Went right to work and got the job done with a congenial friendly get-it-done attitude. They asked if there was anything else they could take care of while they were there. They finished well within the hour (there were two of them.) They are the 'pros from Dover'. It was a great experience.

Went out of town for 4 days and upon return discovered a pipe under the house leaking. Called our home warranty company and their plumber refused to go under the house. He said the space was too small for him to fit through. Also they wouldn't do anything until I had the area "remediated" and that wasn't covered by the insurance policy. That would have cost me approx. $300. Joined Angie's List the next AM and found Fred Morrow. Fred had Pete out by noon and the water back on by 2.30p. No hassles, straight forward business. Pete also noted that our water pressure was almost twice what it should be. Had him come back the following week to replace the pressure regulator. My house still has galvanized pipe and some new copper. Fred came out and gave me an estimate to re-pipe. Good price and will have them do it as soon as I can get the money together. Highly recommend this company. I can actually now say "I have a plumber".

In the morning shower, no hot water. I called Fred Morrow Plumbing and by 11AM Pete arrived. He needed a new kit for this water heater. Took a few hours but he came back in the afternoon and installed the part. He also adjusted my pump timer.

Absolutely great! Very professional, solved the low-flow problem quickly. I guess their minimum service-call charge is $97 (?), which is not unfair but pricey for 20 minutes of work and some travel time (with no parts involved). I was thinking that if they only needed to clean the head that it might be around a $60 minimum -- especially as I had Morrow Plumbing out last week for several small jobs with equally great results. The plumber gave me some good advice on keeping the shower head clean and asked if there was anything else that needed attention while they were there to help make the call more worth the cost.

They ROCK! Pete was the plumber who came by and did the fantastic job, but I've used Fred Morrow Plumbing a couple times before -- all my experiences have been very positive! They really are incredible, and I've used other plumbers prior to finding them. No others compare. In fact, within ALL my experiences with service providers, contractors, etc., they easily are simply the best. Keep up the good work, Fred Morrow, at a very good price!

Fred Morrow had someone out within a few hours to snake the drain. I asked the plumber if this was normal since we'd had the same drain snaked a couple years ago (also by Fred Morrow), or if this was something we needed to be concerned about. The plumber said it's pretty common with kitchen sinks (especially with low flow faucets that don't allow enough water pressure to build to move debris along the drain) and suggested an enzymatic cleaner as a preventative. I love people who are honest and turn down work they don't feel you need. It took him a while to unblock the drain so it was a bit more expensive this time than when we had it done a couple years ago but well worth the money given how much time he spent and how quickly he came. Will definitely use them again.

he was nice, showed up when he said, fixed the problem, and didn't overcharge or try to get me to pay for anything else. I will call him again to install new toilets.

Arrived on time. Plumber had to investigate a leak. It took about 45 minutes to find the source of the leak...a shower pan, that his company does not fix. That's ok..he said he'd get me the name of a good company and call the next day. I did not get a call the next day or any other day. He also investigated the leak in another apartment. It took about 5 minutes to fix by turning a loose nut. I got a bill for 194.00 for less than an hours work (they claimed 2 hours) and I still had to get another plummer to finish the job. I also used this plummer for tracking the source of a smell emanating from one of the bathrooms. Plummer said he tracked it down to a leaking seal and that there was no leaks under the building. Charged ~$200 to fix the seal on the toilet. The tenant complained about the smell and he said it would go away in a week. It did not. Another tenant complained about the same smell. Fred Morrow Plumbing came to investigate and charge $200 for another seal job. It did not fix the smell. I finally called another plumbing company who immediately identified the source of the smell as coming from under the building, crawled under, found the leak, fixed the leak and pour a yard of sand on the wet area to soak up the smell. My tenants are happy, but I'm not. I called Fred Morrow Plumbing to complain and they said that they'd let the owner know and he'd make it right. He never called, he never made it right, and I'm out $400 on that job plus $194 on the most current job and they did nothing to fix any of the problems but the 5 minutes on the leaky kitchen sink.

Fantastic experience. Previous plumber had announced the unit was rusty (didn't make much sense to me, either) and would require complicated and expensive replacement (he ballparked in the low four digits). Talked to these guys on the phone and they sent out Tony, their expert on thermostatic regulators. He talked me carefully through the problem, explained that he would try a repair before replacing the cartridge, and lo and behold, the repair worked. Only charged for two hours labor. Cartridge replacement would have been $400 plus. Based only on one visit, but given the amount they saved me on that alone I can't recommend these guys highly enough.

Fred promptly returned my call. Based on the work I told him I wanted done he was able to give me a ballpark estimate. We set up a date and his crew arrived promptly. They were fastidious and very neat. Fred stopped by during the job to check on the progress and to advise me on a separate problem I was having. The work was done in one day. They did an excellent job at a fair price.

The plumber showed up at the appointment time. I was informed that the house call would cost $85 for diagnosis. He diagnosed the problem as needing a cartridge replacement - which he did not have with him. He would have to order it ($95) and return the next day to install it. He returned the following day and installed the replacement cartridge. The total cost was $239.76. I was obviously charged for the second day, but was not informed of this additional charge. He was professional and courteous and competent. My oversight was not in informing him of the make of the shower valve initially (so that he would may have had a replacement available).

I would call them again and give them my business.

i am very disappointed. my daughter recommended angie's list, and said she had always been delighted with the folks who were on it. this was not my experience. the plumber was told on the phone what was needed. an appointment was scheduled; they had to order the parts. while it took an inordinate amount of time (probably 3 weeks) to get the parts in, this was of no fault of the plumber, but rather the koehler company located in wisconsin. i had no problem with the wait. when the part did arrive, (october 27),the plumber came to install (a less than 5 minute procedure), but only one aerator had been ordered. fred, the owner, called later the same day saying i had only wanted one, but did concede that perhaps he was incorrect. he called the next morning (october 28), saying he was able to get another one and could come by and install, which he did. i was presented with a bill for 2 hours labor (first day when seeing what we needed and having to order, and second time when first aerator was installed). i was very startled to be charged $194 for labor and told fred this. he said he "had hours into this job" as he apparently felt having to call the wisconsin company and get them to follow through was somehow my responsibility. when i questioned why he would charge to come out to see what parts had to be ordered because he did not have them, he said that's how it always is. this has not been my experience. he itemized 5 things the plumber had checked the day before (plumber suggested i might want him to look at other things since there is an hour minimum), which again were done in less than 20 minutes. i will not be using this plumber again and feel i have been taken advantage of.

Fred and his crew were amazing! Fred's one of the nicest guys you'll ever have the opportunity to work with as is his crew. The quality was second to none. If you need any plumbing services, I highly recommend calling Fred.

Tony had mentioned that my old toilet was bad and would need replacing in the future - during his previous visit three months ago. We decided to go ahead and do that and in the meantime, the diverter in the bathtub had stopped working; so we had water coming out of both the tub faucet and the shower at the same time. While he was fixing those, he noticed that the water pressure regulator was bad. We'd wondered why we had a surge in pressure, starting a few months ago. This would lead to many other problems. So I asked him to replace that, as well.

I called and they got someone over the next day. They took apart the faucet, found the problem, installed a temporary replacement part and went out to look for a permanent replacement. My faucet was made by a rather obscure company but they were able to find a replacement part in only a half an hour. They came back immediately, did the necessary repairs, and were done in under 2 hours total. Another plumber had told me the part was very hard to find and acted like he was having tons of trouble finding it. I waited for several days for this other plumber to locate the part (all the while wasting tons of water). The guys from Fred Morrow took care of it right away and had no trouble finding the part. I'd definitely hire them again.

The first plumber was from Angie's List so I was disappointed that the problem was not fixed. I called a new listing from the List and hope this time it is fixed. The plumber from Fred Morrow seemed very good. He went right to work and wasted no time.

We had a leaky faucet and Pete fixed it by installing new washers.
