Had a leak from the bath on the second floor. He was very careful to test where the leak came from and found it was from the overflow outlet. Did an excellent job of keeping the area clean and the price was very fair.

I could kick myself for not calling a few months ago. I will never put off a plumbing issue ever again...the first sign of a problem and I will be on the phone to the Fred Morrow Plumbing company. We've been having a nightmare at our house. We've spent thousands with several different plumbers, some better and/or worse than others, but none that can seem to get the job done and none who I would consider honest or reliable in their work. This time, we had a breach of the main water line and decided to look (once again) for a new plumber. Signed up with Angie's List and, along with additional reviews from Yelp and a few other sites, decided to try Morrow Plumbing. I couldn't be happier (lol, for now, at least). Reasonable/realistic pricing, prompt service and very professional. They kept me informed during the entire process (as I was actually at my business when they showed up at the house) and they got the job done right. They also left me the evidence of the previous plumbers' "mistakes," which I had asked them to do for me. You may find a cheaper plumber, but you won't find a better VALUE for the quality of work they performed. They got it done quickly, professionally and for a reasonable price. I will most certainly use Morrow Plumbing again. I highly recommend them. DS 10/25/2012: Shower had standing water for 2 days. Finally called for help and Mike from Fred Morrow Plumbing came out and got the job done same-day It's an old house with old plumbing. Somehow I have roots tearing away at the plumbing under this part of the house... and it's a slab. He was able to open the drain and it now has good flow. He didn't sugar-coat anything and gave me solid, honest information. Price was very reasonable, especially considering it was a quite a bit more work than I thought it would be. He kept to the phone quote for clearing a line, even though he worked much harder than was expected and could have charged me more - I would not have complained if he had. Always reliable, always honest. Wish I'd found these guys years ago.

We had a water leak in the crawlspace under the house. On Monday, we called another plumber before Fred Morrow but they couldn't come out until Friday. Fred Morrow came out on Wednesday. My brother was home to handle the visit. He reported that Stal was very experienced and competent. The section of leaky pipe was replace after Stal tried to clamp it and it "exploded" on him. My brother said he'd hire Fred Morrow again and that he didn't have any complaints about their service. Lastly a few weeks after the visit, our gas bill came and there was a spike in the amount of gas used in June. After I called the gas company, who suggested I found out if the water leak was from a hot water or a cold water pipe, I called the Fred Morrow office. The woman who answered the phone was very helpful. She pulled up Stal's work order and read it and found out it was a hot water pipe. Very good experience overall.

Mike from this plumbing service was fantastic. He was punctual, very nice, fixed both toilets and the shower problem. He was thorough, quick, and affordable. He answered all my questions, he was very professional. I will DEFINITELY use them again.

Dave was great. When we called his company, we were filled with trepidation because we had just had a terrible experience with a different plumber. The first company had been called in to investigate a few problems; the chief one was why puddles were intermittently forming near our water heater. The first company (incorrectly) concluded it was a problem with our water heater. They offered two choices: the cheaper one was to replace a part on the water heater. The second was to replace the water heater. They replaced the part, but the puddles still appeared. They then urged us to spend $1,000 on a new water heater to replace our six-year-old one. We didn't want to spend that much without getting a second opinion, and that's how we got lucky and found Dave of Fred Morrow Plumbing. He said our water heater was fine! He also saw that the cause of the leak was not related to the water heater; instead, it was due to a screw cap on a clean out not being tight. He tightened it and voila! No more puddles. He also placed a patch on an outdoor pipe without charging us anything. We were very pleased with his work and his manner.

It's always a pleasant surprise when a service provider shows up on time, is nice and the final price is what was quoted. In this case, Fred kind of gave me his best-guess quote over the phone and it actually turned out to be about 30% LESS. Stal came out to me house... he called to let me know he was on his way. How many times do you not even get a phone call when the guy you're expecting is running late... Stal called to tell me he was going to be on time!... awesome. He shows up and after thinking the situation over comes up with a way for me to pay something like $5 in parts instead of the $40 in parts that I'd expected. Fred Morrow plumbing has proved to me several times that if you provide a service at a reasonable price and have personable, competent employees you don't need to play any of the games that so many companies play. $100 might seem like a fair amount to screw off one piece and screw on another but trust me, Stal took extreme care in protecting the tile floor and spent a good hour there making sure things were cool. I'm one of those semi-do-it-youselfers... I have all of the tools and just enough knowledge to get myself in trouble and by the time the work was done I knew that it would have been at LEAST two trips to Home Depot to get done what he made look so easy.

I had a slow draining tub and called out a different plumber to fix it. That guy "gave up" trying to snake the drain and left me with a tub that now didn't drain at all AND contained 3 inches of sludge. I was infuriated and called Fred Morrow (who was recommended to me by a friend and had excellent reviews on Angie's List) to see if they could rescue me from my plumber-gone-bad situation. They sent someone over right away and he immediately drained the tub of the sludge and discovered that the overflow valve was broken. Since it wasn't a simple pipe snaking job, we had to schedule the work for the next morning. Stal arrived exactly on time and began working (joined by Pete a little while later). They replaced the overflow valve, drain, and trap from under the house. Once that was done, Stal was able to snake the drain and remove the blockage. My tub has never drained so efficiently! Stal did such an amazing job with the tub that I asked about bringing him back to install a plunger in the bathroom sink. He happened to have one on his truck and did the job while he was here. Fred Morrow Plumbing wowed me with their prompt responsiveness, skill, attention to detail, and fantastic attitude. Over the last 2 days, I have had 3 of their guys in my house and talked to Fred on the phone...every one of them was personable and friendly. Stal was the ringleader for my project and I'll request him on future projects - he was stellar! Thanks, Fred Morrow, y'all really saved the day!

Because of past experiences I have a fear of getting ripped off, big time, by plumbers. So when the main drain backed up I called our handyman who brought a big rental snake to unclog it. That worked for a week and it backed up again. Called him again and that fix worked for a week. So when it backed up again, I bought an Angie's List subscription and looked up plumber. I called Fred Morrow Plumbing at 4:00 on a Friday afternoon. I explained to Fred, what happened in the past and also let him know that I wouldn't be there because it's a rental and asked if I can pay by credit card over the phone. Mike from Fred Morrow Plumbing was there in a jiff and by 5:00 it was fixed. Mike called afterwards and explain just what he did. It's been a month and so far so good. I got to pay over the phone and they gave me a $10 "Angie's List discount". Thank you Fred and Mike.

Very pleased. I called Fred Morrow at 10:30am and Pete was at my door at 1:15. (They offered me an 11-1 time frame but I chose 1-3 so as to get some errands done.) He repaired a leaky sink in the kitchen and a clogged faucet in the bathroom. Done in less than 45 minutes. Left no mess. Was very polite and gave me the Angie's list first time discount even though I forgot to ask. They estimated the cost when I called as labor ($99) plus parts, and the total was $110 -- right on target. Will use again in the future. Recommend.

Beginning: Neighbor called me at school (I'm a school teacher) to tell me my front lawn was flooded and she and another neighbor who is a retired plumber, turned off the main water valve. Came home and called Fred Morrow (Had positive experience with them in the past.) Middle: I had a choice of emergency overtime for them to come out immediately, or to wait until morning. I decided to wait until morning because it would be dark soon. Fred personally handled the phone call. Being that I would not have running water, he gave me some good pointers about what to do with the water I had on hand. Luckily from past camping experiences, I knew what to do, however, I didn't know about water in the toilet tank...good advice to keep water handy for that. Fred assured me that the problem would be taken care of the next morning. Tony and Jose' showed up early. I had a broken copper pipe that had been pushed up from a tree root. The so called tree root looked more like a log for somebody's fireplace. Tony and Jose` fixed the problem within an hour! I couldn't believe it! Not only that, but they cleaned up all the digging they had done, and even rinsed off the broken copper pipe and the tree root. Wanted to take it for "show and tell." End: The price was definitely something I could afford. I am on a very, very, tight teacher's salary (not public school) and I was so very grateful that the bill was definitely something I could handle. I had worried all night about how I was going to pay for the "job" because my neighbor had had a broken pipe line, and she ended up paying $10,000.00 dollars! My bill was $214.23. I was truly blessed to find Fred Morrow Plumbing. I also wanted to mention that I originally found him on Angie's List. I am a true believer about Angie's List. Fred Morrow is the only plumber I will call. As a school teacher of 31 years, I give Fred Morrow Plumbing an A++ and a big happy sticker!!!

They come out every other year to do the same thing for us. Our experience with them has been very good. They seem to be an honest plumbing company. Their prices seem comparable to others. We will continue to use them in the future.

They did the job very well and promptly. When there was the difficulty, they came back the next day to fix it. The responsiveness was terrific.

I called them regarding the installation of a freestanding bone char (fluoride) filter tank into my already existing (installed) Pelican whole house water system (this would be the third tank in the system of which two tanks are already installed). They not only had never heard of the brand of filtration system (which did not concern me as most systems are very similar with regard to the basic plumbing connections) but, oddly, they seemed utterly incapable of comprehending what it was when I described it to them. After I attempted several times to describe to them what the system was and that I just needed them to install a third filter tank in between the two tanks (softener and carbon block) that were already installed, they told me that they don't recommend water softeners and that they don't do service work on them. This erroneous statement from them had nothing at all to do with the job that I was asking them to give me a quote on. When I told them that, the man just said goodbye and hung up on me.

They came on time, were professional, and did an excellent job that came in under the quoted price. I am very happy.

They were very good about where they were working and not damaging anything. Our only issue was that they originally quoted an hourly price for the job and then they switched to a price to replace the whole pipe. They switched their pricing schedule and it ended up being more expensive. They did come right on time. They did what they said they would do. We would use them again but we would be very careful.

Plumber arrived at scheduled time, was attentive to our instructions, quickly repaired the faucets and gave good and thorough explanations of cause of leaks and how he fixed them.

Stal was prompt, courteous, provided excellent service, and applied a small discount to our total (Angie's List Discount new customer coupon). We were very pleased and would definitely use FRED MORROW PLUMBING (and STAL) again.

I was very happy with Fred Morrow Plumbing. He came within the Window as Promised. Explained to me exactly what needed to be replaced. Completed the work and our house was up and running with water again. He was even able to refer a company who was able to help me with my area drains. They needed to be snaked. I would definitely use him again. Honest, and reasonable.

They were on time, clean, fast, and also were able to fix running toilet after they cleaned the clogged drain. Will use them again.

Angie's List was our source for engaging the services of Fred Morrow Plumbing. A toilet fixture needed to be replaced with a new one. I did not want to personally shop for the replacement. They discussed with me, over the phone, what I needed, what was going to fit in the replacement space , and the styles available . This saved us a shopping trip. We are very satisfied.

We had three problems: 1. Our shut off valves for the washer were no longer working. 2. We had a toilet that whistled loudly after every flush. 3. We had a toilet that refilled very, very slowly after each flush. We called Fred Morrow, after having a previous good experience with them. We had to wait several days for them to come out, due to the holiday weekend, but these weren't emergencies. Their employee, Stal, came out at the appointed time and did all the repairs promptly and efficiently, having all the needed parts with him on the truck, and cleaning up after himself at each location in the house. As I write this, it is now 8 days later, and everything continues to work well.
