They performed what I believe to be a very detailed inspection and took the time to explain what they were looking for, what they found, and what the suggested next steps were. They followed up with a detailed estimate (via email) for recommended services the very next days.

Description of Work: After arranging for a discount through Angie's List, I contacted this company and was given an appointment for chimney inspection and cleaning within a week of contacting them. James and his assistant arrived on time for the appointment. They were very clean and efficient and reported that the inspection revealed the fact that one of the springs on the damper that was broken. I was alerted to the fact that the cap was also showing deterioration but that it would probably be all right to wait until next year to replace it entirely. I arranged for an appointment for James to return to replace the springs, and that too was done in a very timely, efficient manner. I received calls from James on the appointment days to let me know what his time of arrival would be. He was extremely pleasant and explained all aspects of the work thoroughly. I have already made a note to myself to contact the company next year, at which time I plan to have the chimney cleaned and replace the cap.

Description of Work: My gas fire had several wires pulled out near where the gas flame originated. I did not want to handle them so close to the flame. The service man came and he was very polite and fast. He did have to make an additional small adjustment. This took all of five minutes. I paid the basic charge of $69 for a house call, which I think was too much for the time and kind of work done, but I needed an experienced person to do it, so I paid the price. I would use them again, because there aren't that many places who provide this service and I have no other complaints but the price.
