Description of Work: I had a purchased a big deal $99 for Chimney Sweep and Inspection. The service went great. The company is very professional and polite.

Description of Work: Evaluation of our fireplace/chimney. He provided pictures and video of what he saw re: our chimney, when on the roof. He was a good teacher of Chimney 101, including parts of the fireplace, chimney structure, and how to light a fire safely (as we had never used it before). He wore protective covers on is shoes to prevent tracking dirt in the house, too. No pressure to buy anything, just an estimate of what we needed. We hired this company to come do a chimney cleaning but he stated we didn't need one (we had not used it ever), and so, didn't do this service or charge us for it. I'd call that an honest guy. Two minor bumps we ran into with this company: 1. We waited 2 weeks for this appointment. It's the height of a cold snap now so I suspect they are just extra super busy. 2. There was a 4 hour time frame he could arrive for our appointment. He called within the last 15 minutes of that time frame and said he was gonna be late. This stay-at-home mom could have picked up the kids form school afterall, and not have had to arrange for friends to go get them for me. Wish he would have called sooner. Yet he did call and let us know he would be late which I suppose is a courtesy in itself. Overall, a great company and yes, I would use them again.

Description of Work: Excellent information from Omar. He showed us a video of the cap and it is clear that previous chimney sweeps did not correctly fix the cap. Omar also showed us how to use the gas lighter . He was very knowledgeable.

Description of Work: This was a Big Deal offer to clean my chimney & fireplace for $95. Enrirque arrived right on time, put down protective covering everywhere needed, and worked in a very efficient manner. Cleanup was excellent. He also advised me of repairs needed to chimney & gave me an estimate for that. and also recommended roof repair (which his company does not do) that should be done. Enrique was very professional & courteous & I would have them for future chimney service.

Description of Work: The technician was very thorough and knowledgable. He made sure to put tarps down on my floors to protect them from soot. He explained everything that needs to be done and showed me with his camera where the problems were. I would certainly use them when the time comes to do the work

Description of Work: Cleaned my fireplace. They didn't make a mess as promised. They taped up the fireplace with plastic, went on the roof, and cleaned it out from both ends in about 1 hours time. Two guys showed up, very professional and they didn't seem to mind the millions of questions I had lined up for them.

Description of Work: Jorge came out to our house on time, provided an inspection of our fireplace on a home we just bought, removed the old gas log system, installed a new gas lighter start for real firewood, cleaned all debris and provided a detailed list of items we might want to consider for the future. With our Angie's List coupon everything came out to $90. very pleased!

He also told us that there was a spark prevention screen on the chimney already but he recommend we use a more solid cap to make sure that we do not have water seeping in. He pointed out four other things as well. He said the repairs were not a fire hazard so we could wait to do them if we so choose. He did not push for us to spend extra.

Description of Work: I asked these folks to inspect a large, double-sided fireplace and chimney in a house I just bought. The technician (Enrique) was punctual, professional and helpful. I was very impressed.

Description of Work: I have 2 fireplaces, and I wasn't sure if they needed sweeping. They quoted me $49 to come out and inspect, applicable against any work to be done. Marvin came out and said that the chimneys did not need sweeping, but I needed rain caps, which I knew I did because of the house inspection when I bought it. He installed them, and reactivated a set of gas logs that had been disconnected. He also explained how everything worked in my fireplaces.
