We hired Father & Son Moving to pack our Pod. Easy to set everything up with Michael Porcaro, Move Manager (#818-407-8888) Their men were very professional and did a great job. When we unpacked the Pod months later in a different state, we realized the amazing job they did with packing and protecting our things. Each item was wrapped up securely, showing the additional detail and care. Very impressed and highly recommend!

The overall service was absolutely terrible. There was high pressure to higher three movers instead of two, which was more money. I was told to move would take four to five hours and it took over eight hours. It took two and a half hours to load the truck, 15 minutes to drive, and about 5 hours to unload. The movers spent a lot of time standing around. They insulted me several times during the move stating " I had too much stiff for a single person". They damaged almost every piece of furniture they moved, with scratches, dents, and cracks. They scratched my fridge down to the metal underneath and put several dents in it. The damaged doorways and walls. They leaned heavy pictures on my TV screen without putting anything in between them to protect it which damaged the TV. They damaged the structure of both homes that they moved my furniture in and out of. They did not place my furniture where I asked them to and instead put everything in a pile downstairs. They left my back sliding door wide opened and blocked anyway to get to it to close it without climbing in and out of boxes and items of furniture. I wanted them to move me on Saturday but they Said if I moved on Saturday when it was raining they were not responsible to damages to the items or to my flooring. So I rescheduled to Tuesday and I told them I would be working virtually during that time. They assured me that everything would go smoothly and my things would be well taken care of. They are not being responsive and not giving me their insurance information. I would like to resolve this and I would like for them to contact me with a resolution.

Give them a call! I was unable to use Father & Son Moving due to conflicting schedules, but I still wanted to write a review because Michael was responsive, accommodating and professional. He will be my first call next time I need a mover.

Move from home to storage unit. They were punctual, extremely efficient, went above and beyond to make sure that my property was protected before moving it. They were very respectful of my time and making sure that they worked as quickly and efficiently as possible. I would definitely use them again. They made a potentially stressful experience extremely worry free.

I cannot say enough about this amazing company. I have used them 3 times this far. Twice to move within Los Angeles (while also benefitting from their great storage facilities). The third time it was a complex shipment with one part heading to the port for an overseas shipment and the other part headed to the East Coast. Everything was handled with professionalism, courtesy and care. Michael and Tony who oversee the company, provide that initial interface. Michael's professionalism and courtesy reassures any customer that the job will be well done--and he comes through on that. The crew they use are exemplary. Whether it was in Los Angeles or here in DC, we could not have asked for a better crew who handled our every item with utmost care. Not one thing has ever been broken or lost during these moves. I cannot say enough about this amazing company and do hope others benefit from their services as much as we have.

Our experience with Father & Son Moving exceeded our expectations. Not only was the service competitively priced, but all of the movers were friendly, fast and efficient, easy to communicate with and careful with our belongings (and walls!). They asked good questions and followed instructions. A really good moving experience. Pre-move communications were also clear and friendly, and the company was responsive to all questions. The final cost of the move was consistent with the estimate we were given.

I worked with Father and son on a 2 stage process. They brought everything to storage and stored it for 3 months; Then they delivered to my new house just last week. Both moves were super smooth. The guys were fast and friendly. Now that everything is delivered and I've looked everything over---there is not a single scratch on 1 item. I am thoroughly impressed. The mavens of moving!

Father and Son did a fantastic job from start to finish. I met with Michael who gave me a visual estimate. He was pleasant and very easy to deal with. Once we agreed on services and a price the move was underway. The crew of movers were absolutely fabulous. There were 3 movers total, each one even better than the last! Everything was packed 1 day, we moved the next. Some of my furniture went to storage and the rest was delivered to my rental. There was no damage to my furniture or my house. The guys were super professional and courteous--honestly they were even funny. I guess you have to laugh when you have a tough job, it will make the day a lot easier on everyone! The job is done and I am more than thrilled. I will tell my friends and family about my new 'friend with a truck' at Father and Son Moving. Take care guys!
