DTR Electric

Damon ran a phone line for WiFi and now neither phone in the house works. Damon won’t return my calls or text messages. I would NEVER hire Damon from DTR again. Need to hire someone else to fix Damon’s mistakes. DO NOT USE DTR.

I had trouble finding an electrician possibly because of the Christmas holidays. I called several "A" electricians off of Angie's list, but they did not return calls, come for an estimate, return a promised estimate or return my call for weeks after I initially contacted them. I called DTR Electric and he came the same day, gave me and estimate and promptly completed the work. DTR Electric is independent and local. Damon Riggs, the owner, came with an assistant, Nolan. I explained to them that I bought a foreclosed house which the previous owners had stripped before leaving. He walked around the property and pointed out things that were a concern and explained seemingly random wiring in and around the house installed by the previous owner. Then, my roofer indicated that two attic fans needed to be replaced. Damon and Nolan accomodated me by taking on the extra work and installing the fan promptly, as the roof was being installed at that moment. He coordinated his work well with my roofer, S&S Roofing, The yard lights were just wires sticking out of the ground with no apparent connection to a house switch. They figured out the problem with the source and the switch before installing them. DTR Electric is a great choice. I initially hired them to deal with the yard lights which they gave a great estimate for. Several projects were added along the way and they ended up staying most of the day and coming back another day. The end price was very fair. They are prompt, friendly, professional, trustworthy and above all, do great work. I strongly recommend hiring them.

He is a perfectionist. If he can't do it right he wont do it at all. His prices are reasonable. He is busy but the work is worth the wait. $45 an hour for the rewire work.
