+ -1 moreAbout halfway through the job they started harassing us for more money that the contract allowed. Stupidly we kept paying until we'd spent 50K more than the contracted amount. Contractor stopped showing up but would occasionally send unskilled day laborers who did substandard work. Eventually we were told they'd gotten a more lucrative job and they stopped showing up altogether. The city inspector now tells us that much of the work they DID do was incorrect and has to be redone. This company bankrupted us, it'll be a miracle if we don't lose our house.
Description of Work: They partially built a major addition onto our home before taking our money and abandoning the job.
