+ 7 moreJurg ("George") is Swiss, and if you've ever owned a Swiss watch you know exactly how he runs. Always on time! He is a contractor like no other, meeting his commitments with integrity. Due to his background in architectural drafting he has an amazing eye for detail and finish work. And while he does all of the work himself, when he needs an extra pair of hands he hires workers from a reputable agency. He is happy to sit down to discuss design ideas, create work flow charts and budgets. He has always done the work on time and always on budget. There are no surprises (except for his unique work ethic). I know I can count on Jurg to do what he promises and he does it always with a smile on his lovely face.
Description of Work: In 2006 Jurg ("George") completely rebuilt my guest house. Over 8 weeks, he framed and rebuilt walls, designed new flooring, rerouted electrical lines, installed new windows & doors, painted, designed and built exterior overhangs (now we have beautiful new offices!). In 2007, Jurg designed and installed a new lighting system in my living room (1 week). And later that year, Jurg designed and rebuilt a new deck (1 week), even making himself available for delivery of materials while I was abroad (he had completely finished the work by the time we returned!). This year, Jurg replaced all the doors and windows in my house (4 weeks), even installing a set of French doors where none previously existed. And later this year, Jurg will come back to build another deck outside of my new French doors and completely renovate my master bath. I can NOT wait to have him back.
