They are very very professional. They made no mistakes. They really know what they are doing. They are true professionals. He was a knowledgeable contractor. When he does his job he does it forever and you know you can trust him.

Pretty well overall. Things took longer and cost more than estimated, but I don't know any major rehab that does not. All additional charges were discussed and explained before commencing. Tommy was very good at keeping on top of things and Christina provided terrific design advice.

We first came into contact with Pure Restoration when we experienced water damage from a leaky water heater.  Tommy (owner) and his crew did such an amazing job with the restoration that when it came time for me to remodel our kitchen, they were the only company I chose to contact.
Tommy was very much involved in every aspect of the remodeling process.  He took the time to listen to what I wanted done, coordinated the design with the cabinet maker, took me shopping for materials so we could get exactly what I wanted, and gave me a detailed contract outlining precisely everything that was to be done and had been agreed upon.   When the projected cost was more than I wanted to spend, I really appreciated Tommy's willingness to compromise in order to make things work.  We ended up with semi-custom cabinets, quartz countertop, glass & travertine backsplash, and new appliances - all installed beautifully.  Tommy came to inspect the work periodically and was always helpful and responsive if I had concerns or questions. What I truly appreciated was the feeling that if something went wrong or if I was unhappy with any aspect of the process that Tommy would make it right.  He is a man of his words - a trait that is hard to find in many contractors these days.
We know that there are many other areas of our house in need of repairs and eventually our bathrooms will need updating.  I have no doubt that Pure Restoration will be the company I contact and I have not hesitated in recommending them to friends and family.

The owner, Tamir (Tommy) personally came to review  reconstruction request and reviewed and revised contract proposal as necessary.  The initial contract signed September 3, 2014 called for partial reconstruction of the kitchen, laundry room and powder room.  As the project proceeded, I decided to demolish remaining cabinetry in kitchen, laundry room, and powder room and reconstruct with all new custom-made cabinets.  The cabinet change order was signed September 17.  On 10/1 I signed a changed order to install LED retrofit lights, on 10/22, a change order to install all new granite counters/backsplash, and on 10/31 I signed another change order to install all new LED lights because retrofits did not fit existing cans.  Throughout the entire process Tamir and his staff kept me apprised of worker schedules, and Tamir made frequent on-site visits to review progress.  The entire process from start to finish took about 2-1/2 months which at the time seemed to take forever; however, given I submitted four change orders, this prolonged the project.  All in all I was very pleased with the final outcome and now have a kitchen that was remodeled to fit my wishes for easier access via  installation of pull out drawers and Lazy Susans, easy close drawers and modern enhanced lighting, and a completely updated and remodeled powder room and laundry room.  I would definitely utilize this company for future remodeling projects.

The owner, Tamir (Tommy) was very responsive and came out in person to assess mold damage  on July 18, 2014.  I signed the mold remediation contract on July 21.  Prior to beginning the mold remediation work, an asbestos assessment was required due to the age of the property.  I found and paid for an independent asbestos assessment which showed asbestos positive on July 23.  On July 29 I signed an asbestos abatement addendum proposal and abatement was completed on August 4, followed by mold remediation on August 6.   Mold post-remediation testing only was required and completed by an independent company and paid by me. Mold/asbestos remediation was signed off by me on August 21. Although the entire process took about a month to complete the work was done efficiently and effectively as evidenced by the post-remediation report..  The office staff was very professional and kept me apprised of worker arrival dates/times and the owner was personally involved to assure everything was completed safely and correctly.  I would definitely recommend this company for mold/asbestos remediation.

Pure Restoration did a great job on a mold remediation project in our house. Tommy Zilberberg, President, came out personally to explain the mold report and give us an estimate on the job. The remediation was done in a timely manner and the work site was cleaned up at the end of each day. Next came the remodel. We had a number of estimates but decided to go with Pure Restoration. Tommy's estimate was fair and we knew he would do a good job. Christina, Office Manager, and Angela  were also very helpful and efficient. Tommy even met us at a few Home Improvement stores to help us pick out carpet, flooring, bathroom cabinets, shower/tub, and fixtures.  He did a great job and we felt his price was very reasonable for the amount of work that they had to do.
We would highly recommend Pure Restoration for any remediation or remodel job.

We are so happy to have found Tommy and Pure Restoration!  We had four other contractors come in to give us estimates on our bathroom update.  All were way too expensive and didn't get the design we were looking for.  Finally, a friend recommended Tommy based on some work she had done to her condo.  He came over, was so nice, friendly, professional.  He came back with an amazing quote, a design plan and we were off and running.   He provided a detailed list of work, and an itemized schedule of payments.   He kept to the quoted price and payment schedule.  
In terms of the project, he was able to listen to our vision but also provide his professional suggestions to get the most out of our project.   He must have met with us half a dozen times to make sure we were happy.   When work started, all of his crew members were friendly, professional, and detailed oriented.  They made sure to do the best they could to minimize the impacts to the rest of our house (laying down paper from the front door to the worksite so as not to track dirt, cleaning up after each work day, etc.).   We were able to leave them in the house, by themselves, with confidence.   They were friendly and nice with our three girls.
The end product is amazing.  We have a master bath that reminds us of resort living.  Better than some of the fancier hotel bathrooms.  There have been a couple touch ups to the project that Tommy did not hesitate to address.  Even when one of the issues was caused by a different contractor.  Tommy takes real pride in his work, ensures the needs of his customers are more than satisfied, and treats you like a family member.  If you want to do a remodel or a just an update, and you want it done right, with confidence, knowing

The work was done on my parent's home in Leisure Village, Camarillo. I was very happy with the immediate response from the company. They returned my inquiry call promptly and were very polite. My parents genuinely liked the owner and his men but the job took over two months and there was too much back and forth with their insurance company. The owner claimed his vendors were the reason for cost overruns and delays. It was way too long a time and too much added cost for what should have been done andmuch too disruptive for two senior citizens especially for one who has dementia.

From start to finish, these guys are grade A professional.  I can't say enough how satisfied I am with every aspect of the job that was done.  From Christina in the office, to Tommy heading the job, to the guys that came out to do the work. They explained every aspect of the job, were very courteous and flexible and never did I feel like I was being conned or cheated. Would definitely recommend !!

I was out of town during the service but I didn't hear any complaints from my husband so I guess the service was good.

I accidentally discovered pealing paint and damaged wall near the washing machine and called the plumber, Ed Paster.  His plumber found a leak in the washing machine drain pipe and replaced it.  His work was acceptable but expensive ($234/ hour).  He also found mold and I then contracted Pure Restoration to remove the mold and re-construct the walls.  They did this work competently and with reasonable efficiency.  Looking at the wall now, one would never know that parts of it had been destroyed.  Pure Restoration stands behind their work and will fix anything that might be overlooked.

My HOA hired Tommy and his crew to take care of mold and damage done to the interior of several condos.  They performed the job quickly and completely.  I was so pleased with the customer service and quality of the work that I then hired them to do some additional repairs to my condo.

This was the 2nd time I had called upon Pure Restoration for a somewhat urgent water damage/mold remediation/repair
situation, having found them at random on Angie's List the 1st (and totally unrelated) time.
I knew how helpful they had been and didn't hesitate to call again.
Tommy, who runs the company is always on top of what's going on and always available and responsive. Everybody that came to do their particular job (mold, dry wall, plumbing, cabinet re-building, paint etc) was top notch and a pleasure to deal with. 
In my case the quality of the kitchen cabinet re-building was awesome.
And I was particularly happy and relieved that they were able to preserve a lengthy granite kitchen countertop when almost everything underneath it had to be removed. 
Tommy & co. worked around my schedule and I can't stress enough how helpful it was knowing that he was available and
would return calls asap. Everyone from their office was completely professional and helpful as well. You feel like you're in very good hands.
And Tommy knew how to deal with the Insurance co. and get more out of them than I ever would have on my own. He definitely
saved me money in that regard.

My HOA company hired Pure Restoration to get rid of MOLD in my 2nd bedroom.  They professionally removed the mold, then restored my bedroom to a better than before condition.  The staff was professional and Tommy was always available to discuss any concerns I had.
I was so impressed with them that I hired them to do some personal work for me and I plan on using them in the future when I remodel my bathroom.
Its hard to find a reliable contractor and  this company is the real deal.

This is a top-notch company. Tommy has extremely high standards and has instituted this in the company culture. Every Pure employee who came to my house was professional, friendly, and explained what was going on. It was important to me to feel like I was in the loop since I am a first time homeowner dealing with water damage only a few months after moving into my property. I made this known and they walked me through every step of the way. They were always ready to answer questions etc. which was really valuable to me.
For me this water damage situation was a very tough situation to be in, very stressful. This was my very first time dealing with contractors, and I have to admit that as a young, single female, first time homeowner I was scared. Working with Pure has made it much easier than I ever imagined. They are just so nice and accommodating, and the quality of workmanship is excellent.  I had a minor issue with their wood flooring subcontractor, but Tommy came out to take a look and we resolved the issue. All of the staff are detail-oriented, and they don't cut corners. Plus they kept my house as tidy as I could've wanted during construction. Additionally, they are customer-service oriented-- great with scheduling, showing up on time, responding to calls and emails very promptly. They even knocked some money off my bill because I provided my own materials. I communicated directly with Christina in the office, Carlos and Luis who worked at my home, and Tommy & EZ to take care of the bigger-picture stuff. Really, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. 
You can put your worries behind you when you hire Pure because they take pride in their work and they care about their customers. I'm now hiring them to take care of mold that was found during rebuilding. And when I want to remodel any part of my home, I know who I'm calling.

They came and did the job and they finished on the schedule as they promised, no extra charge.  The very first estimate provided to me.  When I ask them to do some other related jobs deviate from what they were doing in the beginning they actually came on Sunday, he gave me estimate, he provided the third party to come and do the preparation and basically the way that they did it, the entire project is stayed on the schedule and it didn't delay and he was very, very professional.  Every time I called him he was here on time and he was very responsive, very professional also administrative assistant, their office is very good handling all the question, all the paper work and everything.  Tommy was basically very knowledgeable and specific, very professional and also give you the details of what needs to be done and explain to you that wall the details about what they were doing basically.  It took about a week or so to finish the job.

For the last several months, we have been working with Pure Restoration and its sub-contractors for what started with water damage and mold remediation in our master bathroom.
What began as a restoration project with one bathroom evolved into the complete gutting and remodeling of all our bathrooms, roof repair and gutter system replacement. The master bath was a necessity; everything else was by choice. We recognized high-quality work with our daily conversations with Tommy and his crew members and felt very comfortable in extending the work we had initially proposed.
From the moment we found Tommy and Pure Restoration through Angie?s List, we have been nothing less than extremely happy with the end results. As a writer and blogger with extensive experience and knowledge in the tile and stone industries, Tommy knew I would be disappointed if the installation of our newly chosen travertine and mosaic floors and bathroom walls were not up to a certain level of excellence. I couldn't have expected better results than if I had installed them myself!
 
Also of note are the precautionary measures and meticulous preparations that took place each day before work started. As a freelancer who works from home, the attention to cleanliness and detail-oriented work was very much appreciated.
Lastly, and without a doubt, I will be calling Tommy when it?s time to remodel our kitchen. There is no one else I would trust my home to other than Pure Restoration.

after a massive sewage leak in my condo rendered my unit unlivable, forcing my
tenant to move, and causing about 50K in damage. My HOA required 3 separate

I was super stressed about the damage and the needed repairs. Having heard quite a few horror stories and never experienced anything like this before, I was anxious as could be. Pure restoration simplified everything for my wife and I. They were able to give us options. They bought us time and saved us money where they could but wouldn't allow us to cut corners on the critical repairs.  Cameron came out with Miguel to provide the initial bid, and then Miguel came back with another worker to do the job.  They worked Tuesday through Saturday, never missed a day, and came in right on budget. They identified another potential issue with our chimney and offered to repair it for a nominal fee, so we jumped on it.  I will definitely tell my friends and family about our fantastic experience with this company. I had set these expectations in my head that this would be the construction job that would never end, it would cost us triple the bid, and the noise would be unbearable. I have never been so happy to be so wrong.  They worked around our schedule, they were pretty much there when we were at work and by the time we got home they were gone. The job site was kept exceptionally clean too. We are big fans of Pure Restoration.  

Tommy and his team are absolutely top notch.  We had just worked with another contractor to remodel our bedrooms and bathrooms that we thought were very good, but working with Tommy made us realize just how great an experience can really be.  Tommy was personally involved in every decision and every aspect of our job - making sure things were done PERFECTLY.  My husband is a mega detail oriented person and notices every little thing that isn't done well, and even he agreed that Tommy's crew and Tommy's eye for details was excellent.  Tommy wanted the job to be without mistakes or faults - and he really delivered on a perfect remodel of our kitchen.  Tommy was also very honest and forthcoming about the mold situation, wanted to do everything by the book so I'd be reassured that the work was done well, given our newborn baby in the home. He had us test the area before and after so we'd know where there was mold and where there wasn't mold, and he even tried to negotiate on our behalf with the insurance.  The kitchen looks amazing - with cool new tile floors that look like hardwood (Tommy's suggestion when we told him we wanted hardwood) and amazing ceasarstone countertops.  Tommy went out of his way to get us samples from the newest ceasarstone collection after I researched what I wanted on HGTV... the countertops were brand new to the market and he got us the samples and then the stone.  In putting the kitchen back together, Tommy also had the crew repaint the entire kitchen, the countertops (even those not affected by the mold so that everything would match), and fix even the smallest details so that things looks perfect. I was also very impressed with Tommy's staff - from the onsite crews to the office staff - they were all extremely professional, on-time and responsive.  I never had to wait long for a response or resolution  - they were on top of everything.  I know Tommy only does 'restoration' work after damage to a home, but I would hire him to do straight remodels any day given the quality of the work, the customer service and the very reasonable price (especially given the value).   His company is truly exceptional - we never felt that we were getting overcharged, upsold or treated dishonestly - which is sometimes hard to find in contractors or service providers.  I am very pleased with the work and HIGHLY recommend Tommy and his team.

I am one of the owners of a condominium in a small 9 unit building. A new owner in one of the bottom units was doing
some remodeling and in the process of tearing down walls he found that rain water had been leaking into the walls of the unit from the roof for quite some time. Since his was a bottom unit we suspected there was probably water damage to the top unit as well, and there was. We called other contractors who said they would completely replace both the inside and the outside of the walls, including framing, at a cost of $20,000 to $30,000. Then I called Pure Restoration and Tommy said they could repair all without removing the outside walls and framing but instead by removing the mold and repairing and replacing only what was needed. Everything Tommy said came true and we were very pleased with the completed job. The crew was fast, thorough and clean. What I thought was going to be a nightmare turned out to be fairly painless. Tommy is even helping the owner of the top unit work with our insurance company to get more internal repairs paid for. I would definitely hire Pure Restoration again.
