They were very good and reasonable. They cleaned up really well. He's really good and really thorough. He knows a lot about trees. They are pretty thorough and fare. The one that climbs the trees is insured. I have been using them every year. They grind it up and take it away they don't try to stuff it in your garbage can or charge you extra for dumping. They grind it up on site. Their price is an A compared to others. I have used others that were very expensive. Stumpmasters was the most reasonable. I always use them.

The crew did a fantastic job, well beyond what I expected. They were quick, tidy, and left our property looking 100% better than it was before. Lee was also very reasonable and professional in assessing how much the project would cost. We will definitely call him again if we have more tree work in the future.

I contacted 4 tree removal companies from Angie's list. Two got back to me promptly, one being Stumpmasters. His quote was significantly less than the other, so I was ready to schedule right then and there. Due to some homeowner emergencies, it took a little longer to schedule, but once we did things went very smoothly. I was told to anticipate a big mess from the chainsaw, but there was very little debris left behind. The workers showed up on time (early maybe) but didn't start until well after 8am which made me happy since it was a neighborhood disturbance with the noise from the chainsaw and grinder. I was amazed at how quickly those palms went down. My dogs had no problem with them in our backyard either. Some workmen they really hate. Not these guys. Very pleasant, efficient and professional. Back slope looks great, couldn't be happier.

I have been using Stumpmasters for 4 or 5 years for tree service. I keep returning to them because they do a good job for a fair price. I have them trim 4 queen palms, 3 canary island palms, and an ash tree. This year, possibly because of the drought, the fronds on the queen palms started coming down earlier in the year than usual. I called Lee and although he was very busy with other jobs, he said it would not be necessary for him to come out for an estimate because he was already familiar with my property, and he would just fit my job in as soon as possible. He was able to schedule the job about 2 weeks later (other tree services told me there would be a 5 or 6 week wait). I highly recommend Lee and Stumpmasters.

Have had owner and crew out three times since 2007. They have cut and removed a total of five trees that were around hundred feet tall from the property did a great job and leaving me firewood. And they have consistently been the most reasonable priced along with the best quality as I have used in the past another tree service. That's why I have been a customer since 2007 and I wouldn't think of having anybody else take care of the trees on my property now or in the future

I was out of town when the tree fell. I contacted several contractors, but Lee, of Stumpmaster, was one of only two who got back to me. His price was less than half of the other quote, plus his quote included hauling the debris away, which the other contractor would not do. When Lee realized the seriousness of the situation (the possibility of the remaining tree section taking out power lines), he changed the scheduling of some other jobs to move our work to high priority--although he post-poned taking out the stump for a couple of weeks, as it posed no danger nor was it an inconvenience. Lee communicated with me every step of the way and stuck with his original estimate, even though the job ended up involving more than he had anticipated. I appreciated his quick response, timely communications, and willingness to be flexible to meet our needs. His is also a local Valley Center business, and we prefer to do business with local firms whenever possible. I am pleased to be able to give his business a resounding "excellent" in every way.

On time, workers were efficient. Clean up was great. Left firewood in manageable pieces. Would recommend them to friends.

Called stumpmasters. They came out but could not perform removal for 4 days. So they called another person who was at our house removing the stump within 45 minutes.

We had several estimates for removing the Palm. We chose Leland because he was very knowledgeable and accomodating. His quote was very fair. His team was prompt, quick and efficient in removing and clearing the tree and stump.
