A man and women came out all they did was vacuum out the fire place then tried to tell me I had a leak and that I needed a new Cap on top which he would have to special order from 'Texas' and would cost $700.00. Must have thought I was real stupid. As soon as they realized I wasn't buying their B.S. They packed up and took off. Were only there about ten minutes. They went straight to the bank and cashed my check within 15 minutes. Avoid these con's at all cost, just grifter's
Description of Work: Did a quickie job of sweeping the flu without even using a cover. Then came the B.S.

 + -1 moreHe arrived on time. He covered the areas around the fireplace to protect from dust and soot. He vaccummed all the areas of dust and soot. He explained what kind of logs to use in the fireplace. He checked for breaks and defects.
Description of Work: Swept the chimney and cleaned the fireplace. He also did a catalyst cleaning of the chimney to remove the sap. Our chimney hadnt been cleaned ever!

 + 1 moreIt took two appts to finish all the work. Joe was great in giving us all the details of what needed to be done to get the chimney and fireplace in good working order. It was a lot of money, but worth it for the peace of mind that we have a good working fireplace now.
Description of Work: We had extensive work needed on our chimney and firebox, including some masonry work, cleaning, etc.

 + -1 moreTHEY WERE GREAT. THEY CONTACT US FOR BIANNUAL CLEANINGS AND THEY HAVE BEEN ALWAYS VERY PROMPT AND THEY ARE QUICK AND EFFICIENT AND I HAVE NOTHING BAD TO SAY ABOUT THEM. THEY WOULD DEFINITELY GET MY RECOMMENDATION.

 + -1 moreTHE PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE. HE WAS QUICK AND CLEAN. HE DID A VERY GOOD JOB. THEY CAME LATER THE SAME DAY I CALLED AND IT WAS EVEN A WEEKEND. THERE WAS NO MESS WHEN THEY LEFT.
Description of Work: THEY PUT A SPARK RESISTOR ON IT AND THEY CLEANED THE CHIMNEY.

 + -1 moreIT WAS OK. I REMEMBER THAT THEY CHARGED ME MORE THAN THEY QUOTED. THEY QUOTED ME SOMETHING OVER THE PHONE AND THEN THEY CAME OUT AND TOLD ME A WHOLE BUNCH OF STUFF THAT THEY HAD TO DO EXTRA AND THEY CHARGED ME MORE.
Description of Work: THEY GAVE US THE FULL CLEANING AND SMOKE INSPECTION.
