I had a coupon from Angie's List for a garage door service from Chandler's, but was pretty sure I really needed a new door. I did. They installed one 4 days later. They were professional and prompt and I am pleased with the work.

I was part way through the install of a new garage door opener I bought at Home Dept, when I saw the door roller was also coming off. It started to look like more work than I was sure I could handle so I called Chander for help. Manny came out in about an hour after my call the same day. He looked over the project and went to work finishing it up for me, even showing me how to put the wheel back into the lift bracket as well as tips on installation. Manny was super friendly even in my hot garage and expertly finished the installation, remotes, safety sensors and keyless entry and all. He also performed a service maintenance on the door, torsion spring and rollers. A+ friendly fast service! Thanks!!

A broken garage spring took out my last garage door opener; I decided to replace it myself, but did not want to touch the springs since it looked dangerous. I went with Chandler based on Angie's List reviews, and was quite impressed. The service technician, EJ, was friendly, punctual, and informative. He evaluated my do-it-yourself home install of the garage opener, made some minor adjustments, and replaced the springs with ease. EJ pointed out the previous installation of my springs was actually quite dangerous and not done properly. Overall, I was VERY impressed and appreciated their upfront pricing, which was discussed at the time of the service appointment. I will be using them to replace a garage door within the next year or so.

One of the torsional springs was broken and it cost $150 to change one; however, I decided to do both springs since it is only $50 more. Plus, I have 10% discount from Angie's List. They did it right and did it quick and most of all it is on the right price. Arrived on time and the technician was very professional. He explained and answered all the questions I have asked and also provided useful advices on how to maintain my garage door properly for years and years of service. Make sure you print the Angie's List coupon out for 10% discount.

They were outstanding. They came in and measured everything. I had an attic in the garage that had a minor interference and for a very small fee they modified my attic and hauled the garage doors and were perfect.

We are happy with the work they did. They were professional, the system is working, and we haven?t had any problems.

I had my garage door opener replaced. The order was placed on the telephone. The customer service rep was very good. She asked me all the pertinent info on my needs and recommended a product based on what I told her. She was very knowledgeable and even guided me on-line so I was able to view the product specs, etc. Her recommendations were exactly what I needed, and the price was fair - being fair, it's a non-issue with me since my main concern is the quality of the installation. She was NOT pushy - she respected my need to gather info and take time to make a decision. The installer was excellent. He came right on the scheduled time, and had everything he needed to do the installation. He was very professional, yet very friendly. He knew exactly what he was doing and answered all my questions during the installation. He worked very efficiently in that he kept working quickly but very accurately. He was very thorough both in his work and in instructing me on the do's and don'ts of operation and maintenance. He replaced all the connecting hardware and serviced the garage door, etc. He cleaned up his debris and left my garage in a neat clean condition. My interaction with him was an enjoyable experience.

I think the new opener and rollers are much quieter. They also greased some of the hinges. I think the quality of the equipment is fine, new features are nice, and the installation is fine, but they can really be a bit more professional. Scheduler and owner were fine, it was the installer I'm talking about. The first time he came, he realized the version that I was originally going to order over the phone wouldn't work, so he left and came back the next week rather than try to get the correct one that same day. Then, when he returned, he was a bit sloppy and crude during installation. I had to clean up after he left. I still might recommend the company because at the end of the day, the job was fine (so far), and even this guy was helpful in recommending how to maintain the garage door, and was friendly, just could be a little neater. I'm actually not sure how their prices compare to others, as I have not checked. The neighbor was so thrilled with them, I just went ahead without shopping around.

It was a great experience. They went right to work. The helped move a car and did the little extra's items that I needed done without extra cost. That is the reason I choose Chandler for my new garage door.

They were very good. I had used them before so I called them again. They gave an estimate but on the day of the installation, they got the wrong margin.

My experience with them was good, except for a couple of things at the end of the job which I didn?t like very much. They came and did the job well. They also came on time and knew what they were doing. There were 3 men who worked well together. At the end of the job, there was a standard piece of material which was all knotted up and had a big knothole in it. So, they said that it was a standard job and offered me the option of having something better by paying 45 $ extra if I wanted. I feel that no piece of wood about 15 feet long is worth 45 $. They found a tricky little way to add a little bit of more money on to the job, after they had started. It tells as if I was obliged to accept it. Once the door was installed, there was a slight manufacturing defect. So, I called them instead of fixing it myself, as the door was on a warranty. They scheduled somebody to come, but that person was late. He was over 30 minutes late and he didn?t have the right tool to fix the door as well. So, someone else came this morning to fix the door and everything is fine now. By and large the job is good, except for a couple of little glitches. I might use them again in the future, as we came to an understanding at the end.

One of roller holding the top section of my garage door fell off track on Sunday. As a result, the left top section of the door was thrown off. Without the roller to guide the door, it was impossible to close it completely. I called Chandler Monday morning and I was impressed immediately by the efficiency and the professionalism of the person who took my call. He was able to send a repair person the same day. The repair person, Larry MacDonald, showed up as scheduled and repaired the door in no time. I also asked him to check the overall condition of the door and reset it as necessary. He did a good job in checking all facets of the door - tracks, cables, all the rollers, bolts, etc. He also noticed that the door does not spring back easily when it hits an object and suggested to install a new door bracket. He took time to show me where I should lubricate the door, including writing down the type of lubrication I should buy. He also told me I need a surge protector for the opener to protect it from spikes. My garage door performs so much better and so much quieter after the repair.

As we are repainting the house it seemed a good time to replace our 50+ year old garage door. Called chandler and they sent out a technician to measure and plan the installation on Apr. 24. On Apr. 29,the installation team arrived and installed the new door which required special track due to low overhead. The door is steel front and back with insulation between and with windows. The inslallation went well and my wife and I are very pleased with the door.

Charlie came and gave the estimate. Daniel came and did the removal and install. Everything went extremely well. I was very pleased because they didn't know about the $50 Angie's List coupon but once I showed it to them, they honored it right on the spot. I think another major selling point was that the tax credit you can get when you purchase an installed garage door. This was mentioned on the website of the garage door manufacturer (www.wayne-dalton.com). The door (Model 9600) looks and feels great.

I could not open the garage door. It would lift about 12 inches and then stop. I first called Sears (where I bought the garage door opener) but they could not schedule anyone for five days. Then I looked up other options in Angie's List and found Chandler. I called Chandler and they were able to fit me in on the same day. The repair person was prompt and very helpful. He adjusted my garage door opener and lubricated all parts. He gave me a spray bottle of lubricant and showed me how to do the work myself. (My garage door is about 60 years old and the parts had not been serviced for at least 30 years.) I received an estimate for a new door. The estimate is very much in line with prices I received elsewhere. I forgot to ask for my 10% discount, but that's OK.

Arrived on time. Explained what he was doing. Very thorough. Easy to deal with. Excellent experience.

They were very clear about garage door options, quick to arrange an estimate, and even quicker to replace our heavy, ancient garage door with a new one that's incredibly easy to open by hand. (We decided to not get an electrical opener, but they installed the new door with space enough to add on should we get one in the future.) They coordinated their work very smoothly with other garage work we were having done concurrently. The installation technicians Larry and Daniel were great: they offered to make the manual aspect of opening and shutting the door easier by adding a foot stop and rope to the handle. We were planning to add a rope anyhow, since I'm rather short, but when they saw me trying to reach for it, they said, "Oh, let us just add a pull rope now so you can use it." Just one of those friendly, observant touches I appreciate.

Called over the weekend to schedule repair of a broken spring and two lifter cables. I received a callback on Monday saying they could schedule a Tuesday appointment. They called back a little later saying they had a cancellation and could I be home in 20 minutes to let the tech do the repair and I said sure. When I arrived home the tech was just pulling into my driveway. The tech quickly determined that needed a new spring and two lifter cables (surprise) and gave me an estimate in writing for the work. I reviewed the estimate and agreed with the price and he started the job. A whole half an hour later the job was finished which included an inspection and lube of door. I was back to work in less than an hour.
