Right Way Garage Doors

They were excellent. They were prompt and courteous.

Everything went well. The worker showed up on time, had a great attitude and did a good job.

Over experience is excellent. Do recommend to have your garage clean up before they show up. This way they don't need to clear out obstructions that may cause delay. They just come in and start dismanteling your old garage door and put in the new one.

He was wonderful to work with, communicated well, and very helpful and professional.

He talked me through what he was doing and how often I should do maintenance. When he was done the door worked very smoothly and quietly AND he swapped out the remote that wouldn't work with one that did for no additional charge. My wife tried out the door when she got home and commented on how quiet it was.

This is the second time that we've hired Chandler Garage Door service and have been very happy both times. It was very easy to schedule the appointment at a time that worked well with my work schedule and I received a phone call about 30 minutes before the technician arrived to let me know he was on his way. E.J. was very knowledgeable and explained everything that he was doing during the inspection. He pointed out a couple areas of concern and made a recommendation to replace eight of the door rollers with the same type nylon wheels that had been replaced last year. I agreed that it sounded like a good idea and had him perform the service on the spot. He checked the entire system from top to bottom, lubricated all the moving parts and tightened the spring to make sure the door functioned correctly. He even had me drive my SUV part way into the garage to make sure his adjustments to the door movement wouldn't get in the way of my ski rack. In all, I was very pleased with EJ's service, professionalism and upbeat personality. We will definitely continue to use Chandler.

I got the confirmation call as promised, within the time frame a young man came to my door, showed me his ID even though his company name was on the truck. He got to work at once, checked all, answered my questions very professionally, worked quickly and with expertise. Thanked me, left a sticker so that I could call if and when I needed any type of service on my door in the future. Manny spoke perfect English which is hard to find these days and he was a great tech. I will call Chandler and ask for Manny in the future.

Great! He explained exactly what he was doing, didn't mind my questions and let me know how often to apply oil and grease and what kinds to use and noted that on the invoice for my future reference. He checked the condition of the door, hinges, rollers and tracks and ensured the door opens and closes within safety standard from both the wall button and remote. The visit took all of about 20 minutes. Now the garage door is blessedly quiet instead of the screaching when it opens. Thank you!!

Job was completed in just under three hours, which was the estimate given. I was satisfied with the work completed and love the new door.

I know everyone seems to love Chandler's Garage so before you make a decision to use your hard earn dollars on them please do not overlook my review of this company and how they handled my job: I called Chandler garage back in November 2010 after reading rave reviews on Angie's list and on Yelp. They were quick to bring a technician out and he was great. He checked out the garage, told me I had a couple options and he even greased up the rails for me at no extra charge. I was very pleased. After the technician left I got a call the very next day with a quote (which was quite low - much lower than competitors). Being pleased with their service so far I agreed to go with Chandler Garage. I was told they would have to check if the section was in stock or if it would have to be ordered from the warehouse. Sounded good, I agreed. Now here is where the problems began: A week or so went by and I did not hear from them. I called the company and I was told I'd get a call back. Great, not a big deal. I got a call from the owner (I believe it was that night or the next day) and I was told the section needed to be ordered from the warehouse and that it would take a couple weeks. I was again quoted a price - I asked about the promotion they were running (10% off for Angie's list users) and I was told I would be able to use that. A couple weeks went by (now into December) I had not heard from anyone from Chandler's garage. I called them again and inquired about the garage section. I was put on with Kelly who was dealing with my job. Kelly told me there was some issue with warehouse - something about new owners etc etc. I asked her why I was never informed of this and she apologized and basically my job had fallen through the cracks. (Kelly was always very cordial and never rude) To make a long story short: There was a couple more phone calls from me to the company and a couple more "next 1-2 weeks" Basically the only time I got a call Finally on the second week of January 2011 (the section arrived on the first week of January) they got the garage door installed. To my surprise when they gave me the bill it was significantly higher than what they had previously quoted me. Now I am not the type of person who complains about prices if the job is done well. But the price I was quoted and the price I was billed was quite different. I was a bit peeved because the price I was billed was higher than other quotes I had received but in my mind I was thinking, "Okay, well maybe they quoted me the price of the garage section and just never included labor and since the job was done well I can live with it, if they can explain what happened." I called Chandler Garage and asked for a break down of cost. Kelly told me she'd call me back. The next day Kelly called me and informed me it was $300 for the garage door section and $100 for labor. Then she told me "This is the price I've always quoted you and this has always been the price" Which was a shock because the price they gave me was very new to me and never once was the price that was quoted to me. Now I told every single family member the price I was originally quoted and to make sure I wasn't crazy I asked them and they all told me the price I had been quoted previously by both George and Kelly. I told Kelly this price was never quoted to me and after a few back and forth she told me she would have the owner call me. (Again I want reiterate Kelly was very cordial and polite to me on the phone) Up to this point I wasn't too happy with the handling of the situation but I was willing to pay and I just wanted an explanation of what went wrong. I never even thought to write a bad review because the end product (the garage section) was fixed well and I had no problems with it. But when I got a call from George Chandler the whole thing went south really quickly. George started off very polite, explained to me this is the price that I was quoted and this is the price they've always quoted me. Which again I told him I was never quoted that price, I explained to him the reason I was upset was because I based my decision to go with Chandler Garage on the quote I received which was quite a bit lower than competitors and now they had billed me more than the other quotes I had received. Then I was shocked when he said, "Okay we'll just have to come get the section then." By this time George sounded upset and there was no willingness to work it out or explain. George said he would have to come get the door this afternoon. I told him no one was home and I would have to figure out a time for someone to be there. He again said he needs to come get the section today for fear of it being damaged... etc. This went on for a few more seconds before I could convince him no one was home and everyone was at work. To say the least I was shocked. Being a business owner myself I have never dealt with a customer complaint in such a brash manner. If you are looking for a company to work with please reconsider other companies before you have Chandler's Garage come out and perform the work because if you have any problems with their work they're only solution it seems is to come and get the garage door back from you.

Our 12 year old garage door was making a grinding noise going up and down. The grinding was coming from the motor that controls the door. EJ from Chandlers came in and it took him about 3 seconds to diagnose the problem. The motor components had gone out of alignment and needed to be replaced. He had all the parts in his truck and he also fully services the garage door - oiled all the hinges, springs etc. The whole thing took about an hour. The garage door now works great and is humming like a new door. EJ was very professional and friendly and very upbeat guy. I highly recommend Chandlers and EJ.

This was our first "Angie's List" experience and it was great from start to finish. I called to set up the appointment and spoke to a young lady who was very professional, friendy and quick. We got the appoinment set up in minutes. The day of the appoinment we were given a 2 hour window and the technichian, Larry arrived on the appoined hour (not 1 hour into the window, just at the start of the 2 hour window!). Aside from being prompt he was polite, professional, and fixed our door in a few minutes. He also did some minor maintenance to the door system, and showing us some addtional things we could do to keep it running smoothly. We also used a coupon that we got from their website. I would highly recommend Chandler if you need to have a service done. Their prices are more than reasonable and the service is excellent.

We contacted the company and spoke with Kelly. We went to the show room and she explained their products and procedures. We chose a model with frosted glass windows which now lets in needed light and results in a much cleaner look, both inside and out. Moe came to the house the following day, wrote and estimate, and a few days later, Dan and Alex removed the old door and installed the new door and opener in approximately three hours. We received excellent service and would use them again and will recommend them to others that need garage doors.

Great experience, I recommend them highly, and will most certainly use them again.

I called Chandler's based on its Angie's List rating, and quickly set up an appointment. Manny arrived early, petted the jumping Labradors, took a quick look at the springs on the door and headed to his truck where he kept replacement parts. He discussed replacing the other spring, and pointed out that one spring was $150 and the second was another $50. We went for this believing the other one was ready to break, too. Then he came in the house with what used to be a bearing from the motor, which had completely bent itself. He returned the next day because he didn't have the bearing size on the truck, installed it and on leaving gave us instructions about lubricating the door (who knew). He was on time, competent, and speedy. I would recommend them to anyone.

The visit went very well. I thought he did a good job. It seemed like they provided the service we expected. I had no complaints.

The person arrived to estimate the work promptly. One week later, the installers arrived precisely at the agreed upon time. The team of two were courteous and professional and worked very efficiently. They happened to notice that the button to open the door was located in an ackward space that required me to reach over a cabinet and asked if I would like to have the button moved to a more convenient location. This was very much appreciated and an example of their exellent customer service. They appeared to care about what they were doing. I could not be more pleased with the quality of their work and the doors look beautiful! P.S. Thank you Angie's List for the $50 coupon!

Everything went great, I'd highly recommend them.

All work was completed within about 30 minutes and the door now works better than when it was new. The workman took the time to tune and oil the door as well as replacing the spring. We were more than satisfied but there were a couple of negatives. The time window given was 2-4pm and he did not arrive until 4:40. We called after 4 and was told he was running late. It would have been a nicer touch if they had called us first and revised his arrival time. Second when we scheduled the work we were told that a credit card would be accepted for payment. When we paid we were charged an addition fee for using a credit card instead of cash. Not a big deal but that should have been identified during the scheduling call so if we wanted to avoid the extra charge we could of had cash on hand. We consider these small things because the quality of the work was great but these are something for Chandler to improve upon in the future.

Service technician arrived within 15 minutes of the advertised time to repair my garage door spring which had broke. He was able to complete repairs within about 30 minutes, freeing my wives car from the garage. He also tightened all of the screws holding the garage door panels to the it's frame at no charge. I will use Chandler again when the garage door needs replacing.

Wonderful and very thorough. Did not expect such a good service. Did much more than expected. Very professional. Definitely recomend.

Very positive experience. Manny showed up on time but realized that he was missing some oil, but quickly went to the hardware store to purchase some. He was quick and thorough, but he explained exactly what he was doing so I could learn. Going forward, I can probably do the maintenance for myself, but I will use Chandler for any other garage door service because of their professionalism, good prices, and quality.
