Their repairman arrived on time and ffixed the chain on my grage door which waws not working. He also voluntarily fixed a dent in the frame and replaced the bulbs in the overhead light for no additional charge (other than the cost of the bulbs). I was very impressed.

The garage door was making noises when it opened and shut, so I called for a maintenance visit. The visit was scheduled for the day after I called. The technician arrived on schedule, was very quick, pleasant, and professional in his work. He told me what kind of lubricant I could get at the hardware store and do the upkeep myself. I have followed his advice, and had no problems since then.

He arrived within the time scheduled and Michelle gave me a call 15-30 minutes beforehand as promised. Good responsiveness there. The only challenge came with discussing the cost. I asked beforehand and was told it would usually be $275 if it was an insurance work order but if we did it w/o insurance it would be regular retail which is only $225 - plus Manny was good enough to tell me about the 10% off for Angie's List when I asked if Angie's get a discount (thanks Angie's!). I agreed to the work at the $225 but at the end Manny told me he thought the agreement was for the $275. Thankfully Michelle in the office and insurance worked it out so I could get the $225+10% off. My advice here is always get quotes in writing beforehand. Other than that it was a good experience and the door is fixed so thanks!

Edgar provided excellent service. He did an analysis of the situation, explained in plain language what the problem was, showed me the problems, gave me three possible solutions with three price ranges, juggled his schedule with dispatch to handle the extra time for our work, completed it professional, promptly, thoroughly tested the work, showed me how to do twice a year maintenance.

Called Chandler for quote. Estimator was curious and professional on the phone. Scheduled for day after Christmas between 8 and 10. Crew showed up at 8:00 and finished by 11:15. Professional crew installed the door, opener and key assembly efficiently and door works great. Showed us how to use the door and how we should maintain. They cleaned up their materials and left the garage as they found it. Great work.

The work was performed as expected with various parts checked, lubricated and/or adjusted. There was no real issue with the door before the tuneup and I noticed no discernible difference after the service but it was good to know that the it was in good condition

BRIEF BACKGROUND I had a garage door opener installed with another company prior to calling Chandler. Four months after the install I had a two problems; 1) the wall door opening device simply stopped working and I was unable to open or close my garage door unless I used my remote devices. 2) one of my garage door springs broke (which had not been recently purchased). I naturally called the previous company to give me a bid to replace the springs ($600+tax and service charge). Then they addressed the garage door wall unit. After taking a visual of the unit (5 seconds) accused me of tampering with the device because I took off the face plate. This removal somehow negated my current warranty. However, they would be happy to charge me to fix it for an additional cost, which I of course said "no way" since the cost for the springs were outrageously priced and their conduct was less than professional. That's where Chandler door service comes in. CHANDLER SERVICE EXPERIENCE I called Chandler Garage Door Service and gave me a quote to replace the springs, which was at a reasonable in price point based on three other quotes I had obtained previously. I decided to use this organization because they were upfront with the quote over the phone (no hidden charges: trip, service and tax fees) and they conducted themselves in a professional manner when they arrived at my home. The technician (Manny) was on time and replaced the spring within minutes of arriving. I mentioned the problem with the door opener and he offered to take a quick look at it and found the problem right away (the wires were not properly installed), he fixed it literally within minutes at no charge. He also lubricated all the parts in the door that needed it and provided instructions on how to maintain it to get optimal usage, which I appreciated. Manny also observed that the garage door was not properly aligned on the wall when installed, so offered to fix it (which took about 10 minutes), again at no charge. I was so taken back by the extraordinary customer service that I gave him another job (as well as a monetary tip with my check) as my parents were looking to replace their garage door. Chandler got the job because they were competitively priced and based on my experience seemed trustworthy. Since this experience, I have recommended this company to a half of dozen of my personal friends as well as my local community association (which posts both good and bad experiences with service organizations in the Bay Area) that has approximately 278 homes involved. RATING: This company understands how to work with their constituents. Their goodwill, professionalism, competitive pricing, and skilled work force exceeded my expectations and have earned my loyalty to their organization! We live in a fast paced world, and I appreciated that they didn?t waste my time and offered true value for the service they provided. I work hard for the money I earn and do not appreciate being taken advantage by organizations that don?t have their customer?s best interest at heart. They showed up, did the work, and then left. There were no surprises. We haven't had any problems with the door since.

The technician replaced the worn parts and did a complete inspection and repaired parts that he did not need do do without charging extra. Was very competent and professional.

Chandler did an overall service and recommended that the rollers be replaced. The rollers were replaced. The doors opened and closed quietly. I was very impressed with the service I received. I recommended this company to my next door neighbor and he was very satisfied with the results.

Our garage door broke and initially we were going to fix it instead of replace the whole door. We found Chandler Garage Door on Angie's list and decided to give them a call to have a look. The person that came out to do the estimate was very courteous, punctual and knowledgeable. He said that we could definitely repair our garage door, however, since our garage door was old and installed improperly on top of that, it might be more economical for us to just replace. He never pressured in any way and gave us all the information we would need to make our decision. We eventually decided to just replace the entire door and that is when we worked primarily with the administrative staff. They were very helpful and accomodating of our hectic schedules. The date of the installation it was very quick and hassle-free on our part. Our neighbor was so impressed with their work that she came over and tried to have them come to her house in the middle of putting up our door! But the men that installed our garage door waited until they were done to go talk to our neighbor. They gave us all the information on how to maintain the door and wrote it all down for me so that I wouldn't forget. I would definitely use them again. We are very pleased with their workmanship as well as the product that was installed!

We had a squeaky door with a bent lower panel, plus a second door that would sometimes jam when we tried to open it, and which seemed to have much too strong of a spring (it would fly open if the power opener was disconnected), as well as making a lot of noise. The tech came out on the special service deal and was on-time and did a thorough job of greasing and adjusting the doors. I asked if they could help repair a dent in the large door and make the small door run smoother as well as correcting the spring tension. He worked up a quote, that involved a lot of back-and-forth with the home office, include a second trip to the house to re-measure. They ordered parts, scheduled installation, then contacted me to say they didn't get the right parts and I'd have to wait another month or so to get the right ones. After the parts arrived, the same tech came out to install. I think he was maybe a little inexperienced, but he got the job done. The large door worked great with no more dent, and the changes to the small door fixed the spring tension, but it is, if anything, more noisy than before the work. I mean it's loud. I had hoped that spending close to a grand would get me quiet, smooth doors. While the tech was generally professional, he did leave a bit of a mess for me in my garage and driveway. Let me sum up by saying that I think they did a decent job, but I feel like it was beer-n-burgers for a steak-n-wine price.

The technician showed up and explained all the procedures he was performing. He was fast and thorough.

Larry showed up just a few minutes beyond the time slot original quoted, but he called me when he left the previous job to say he was running a bit late. That was fine with me and I appreciated his phone call. When he got there he quickly sized up the problem and got to work. Twenty minutes later he had shifted one side of the door enough so that it closed all the way. He also did a general checkup of the condition of the door, hinges, springs, etc. Larry was very pleasant and professional. When I need a new garage door in a few years, I'll be happy to go back to Chandler again.

Called for a quote on new garage door opener, replacement springs and a remote which came to $525. Larry the installer came on time and was very professional. After reviewing my request with the actual old garage door, he recommended against replacing opener. The angle of door necessitated the older and stronger motor used in the existing garage door opener. Instead he replaced the capacitor, electrial board, replaced 4 springs with new safety features, activated the remote and adjusted the door for only $218. I was very pleased that he saved me money and was able to make the existing door work as best as possible. I'll use these guys again for either repair or a replacement door/opener in the future.

Called Chandler one week, and got a time the next week that worked for me. The service tech showed up on time, was courteous, quick and gave me a heads-up on possible future problems of which I should be aware. Everything should be so straightforward.

I got three quotes. Chandler and another vendor were close, whereas one other one was 10 -15 % more expensive. In the end I selected Chandler. The crew was late this time. But overall, I am happy with the product and the service.
