Right Way Garage Doors

Great. Got the $100 deal and it was worth it. Our door was having issues and the tune up fixed the problem; worn out rollers.

Chandler Garage Door Service is the best! I had actually called another garage door service about two weeks prior to signing up for Angie's List. The other garage door service was highly rated on Yelp but the guy told me he would call me back and stop over and he never called or showed up. My advice is avoid Yelp and use Angie's. For garage door service call Chandler and they will not let you down.

Great company and service. Tech was knowledgeable and courteous. Installed keypad, showed me how to reprogram it. Even after service company emailed me instructions of the remote controls. Highly recommend them.

They did the job in an hour and a half and I'm very satisfied with there work. No complaints.

He was excellent. adjusted closing so that the automatic opening when there is 1" of open will not totally and completely crush my senile cat (who manages to sneak under the reverse sensors)

Technician arrived just after noon well within the two hour 12-2pm window. After closing the door from within the garage and listening to the mechanism work, he immediately noticed the broken spring. He recommended replacing both since the second spring would cost just another $75. Work went quickly and technician left just before 1pm. The door opens and closes much more quietly now and stays fully open now that the springs have been replaced.

The folks at Chandler are very courteous and professional. They were very accommodating to my last minute change to convert my service call to the $100 coupon which included new rollers and a tune up. This was done at 6am on the day of the appointment and the Chandler folks never missed a beat. On to the appointment... Craig the technician, called to let me know when he would arrive. Once onsite, he performed the work with the precision and confidence of a practiced hand. He replaced the rollers, tuned and lubricated all the required components. Everything went so smoothly and my garage door has not operated so smoothly for years.

Before purchasing this deal, I contacted the company and had them come out to do an estimate. They came out and did the estimate. I received a price of $1,440 to replace my garage door. The employee at my home called the company while at my house to confirm that I'd be using a coupon for the garage door and to confirm the price that he came up with. I called within a week to schedule for the replacement door to be installed and again confirmed the price. The company stated they'd be sending me an agreement via email for me to sign and that I needed to pay a deposit of 30%. They never sent me an email so I did a follow up call. They then stated that the pricing was wrong and needed management approval. They were then going to charge an extra $173 based on a mistake they made.. I have decided to cancel this Big Deal and put this project on hold.

We used the Angie's list deal. Fantastic service! We will definitely have them back and recommend them to anyone who needs garage door service.

I purchased the garage door tune up package thru Angie's List. Someone promptly contacted me via email the next day to schedule service. On the day of the service, I called the Chandler Garage Door Service office ~15 minutes before my appointment time (first thing in the morning), to make confirm the appointment. The folks in the office were able to tell me where the service personnelle was (en route) as well as their estimated time of arrival. I wish everyone I work with could do that! Once the guy arrived, he went right to work assessing the garage door, identified some loose bolts, an out-of-balance setting for the torsional spring, plus a few other issues. I opted to not change the existing steel rollers for the nylon ones offered in the package, so the guy offered to add grease to the bearings on the existing steel rollers. All done in ~30 minutes. Door and opener operate a lot smoother (and quieter) now. Would definitely recommend Chandler Garage Door Service. They did a great job.

Great service. On time and was pleased with the work performed.

Although we had a miscue about setting up the initial meeting, when we set an appointment the company's representative arrived within the appointment window. Their first available time was later than I needed so they worked with me to move up the installation date. The time scheduled was moved up 30-60 minutes which was absolutely fine with me. The entire operation took 2 hours and 30 minutes. The installers cleaned up before they left, the final paperwork was wrapped up efficiently. I hope I never need another garage door but if I do, I will call this provider. We definitely got their "A" game.

Craig, the service person, was friendly, explained all that he did, and I was very happy that I called this company. I would recommend them to anyone. Excellent service! Will use them again should I have anymore problems with the garage door!

Garage door did not open. Did maintenance and fixed the door. Took time to explain what I should do to keep the door operational. Workman showed up on time and was professional.

Knowledgeable technician assessed the problem and performed the work quickly. He had a replacement part with him. Could not have been easier.

They were terrific, from their office contact personnel. to the installers. I expected good service, and yet, they went beyond. In Dec of this year I'm going to ask them to come back and quote on new garage doors... ours are 15 year old and buckling a bit. I will be willing to bet they will have a very good quote and will do a great job as well.

They had promised that the repairman would be there at 10am and call 20 minutes before he arrived. At 10:45 I called the company to see where he was and was told that he was on the way. 15 minutes later he showed up (an hour late), with no call to inform me that he was about to arrive. That said, Larry did a great job doing everything that needed to be done, did it promptly, and in a highly professional manner. My garage door works great now. Other than the late arrival and lack of pre-arrival call, I would give these guys 5 stars, but the customer service on the late arrival and the lack of notice tends to have me mark them down a bit.

They arrived promptly the next morning after my request. The nylon rollers were replaced and everything ran smoothly. I also asked them to replace the bottom seal because there were gaps on each side of the door. They told me it was due the garage door sagging but thought of a creative idea on nailing wooden wedges on the bottom of the door to even out the gap. Then had to make a second trip the same day to get the wood pieces and didn't charge additional beyond the cost of the seal install. I'm very happy with the overall outcome. The workers were very friendly to interact with.

I didn't actually use the service, as I got my garage door to work. I contacted them about that and to cancel my appointment. They were more than happy to take care of all the details with no issues.

Manny was great. He had the expertise, very communicative, quick and efficient, knew what he was doing and offered to setup my two cars w/ the opener and suggested great product ideas as well.

I called them up via my Home warranty service, and was able to get an appointment within a day. The technician was on time, and correctly identified the issue. He replaced the broken part and completed a service of unit well within the promised duration. Excellent service.

Appointment was set up promptly. The technician came out on time. He explained everything he was going to do. When he was done, he told me how to maintain upkeep. I have used Chandler garage door in the past including installing my current garage doors. I have always had quality service from them. Highly recommend.

$85 was the minimum charge for his visit and her charged the minimum, called twenty minutes before arrival and arrived exactly on time. He also trimmed bushes around the door. Basically, he went above and beyond for this minor repair. (We're even wondering whether George does handyman work!)

Craig showed up 20 minutes early. I was on a meeting call at the time, but glad that he was willing to wait. The roller replacement and tune-up took about an hour. During the tune-up Craig educated me on how to perform the maintenance myself and done twice a year it should only take about 15 minutes each time.

Updated review 6/17/2014: Owner George came out today and brought 2 technicians with him. We first discussed about the issues and plan of resolution. The bottom fixtures were not installed properly and will be adjusted and the door shifting may be caused by the settling of the house and might not be able to get back to the old position. The technicians removed the bottom fixtures. In order to align them properly along with bottom of the door edge, they decided to drill the holes larger on the metal bottom fixtures so the screws already drilled into the door do not have to be moved. That was a smart solution. It took about 2 hours to get the work done. The door travel was also adjusted slightly lower to fill the gap at the bottom of the floor. Now, I don't see light coming through the bottom of the garage door. The door shifting had to be adjusted by adjusting the tracks, but the track was blocked by concrete. So, there's still unpainted wood in the side of the garage. I need to buy another can of matching paint to paint the unpainted wood and buy wood patty to touch up a small crack in the wood door (probably caused by the pryer used to jack up the door). George and I also discussed about the confusion about the pricing to make sure I was not thinking I paid too much for the work. I do understand I am paying a discounted price and combining promotions/discounts. The thing I was not happy about was the quality of initial work and the scheduling issue that took 3 visits to complete (and yeah the price quote changed several times due to confusion). I have modified the rating to B for the effort from George to resolve the issues as much as they could and working with his team to avoid these issues from happening again. ================================================================================================== Original review 6/13/2014: I have used Chandler's for my garage door repair in the past, so, when the bottom fixture in the garage door broke a week ago (right after garage door was painted by a handyman), and the handyman did not have time last week, I called Chandler's to give me an estimate. I was quoted $30 to replace a fixture plus $85 trip charge/tune up. I found angie's list deal for $100 that includes tune up and replacement rollers. So, I called up Chandler's and said I would like to pay $15 more and also get new rollers. I was requested to purchase the deal from angie's list directly. In the purchase I also noted in comment section that other than the tune up/rollers, I also want 2 bottom fixtures replaced. We scheduled a 2 hour window on last Saturday. I have a lot of places to go on Saturday (they don't open on Sunday) but I stayed home waiting for the repair man to come. Manny came 30 minutes after the 2 hour window (he did call and let me know he's running late). The thing is he was not aware that he needed to replace the bottom fixtures and he has no parts with him. He placed a temporary screw to secure the broken bottom fixture so I can use the garage door for a few more days. I didn't get any of my planned things done on Saturday. Manny said he would order the parts from distributor on Monday and get back to me. Nothing happened on Monday. I called Chandler's and got an appointment and I had to wait until Thursday. On Thursday, I wait for the 2 hour window and Larry was also running 30 minutes late. Due to the delay, Larry had to hurry up to work on the door so he can finish the work by 5:30 when I have to leave. Larry mentioned he upgraded the rollers from plastic rollers to nylon rollers with ball bearings to compensate for the issues. He also accepted 10% off coupon I have from angie's list. After the work was done, I had to go out to pick up the kid (and avoid the $1 a minute late pickup charge) and did not really check the work and just paid the balance. After I came back home to check the door, it was a disaster. The bottom fixtures were not fitted flush against the bottom of the door but with a gap. The rubber strip below the fixture could not be secured properly. When the door is closed, I can see light coming through the bottom of the door along the entire length of the door. On the outside, I see a strip of unpainted wood on the left side of the door (meaning the door was shifted to the right). As the door open or close, I see the rubber beneath the bottom fixture rubbing against the side rail. I feel the whole door is falling apart. The door also became dirty with grease on the outside on this newly painted garage door. I called Chandler's this morning to talk to the manager/owner. George told me he was going out of town today and will stop by my place to take a look next Tuesday. So for now, this is the first part of the review. If the situation improves next Tuesday, I will update the review. For now, the review stays at F/Lousy. I feel very lousy about the service. A picture is worth a thousand words.
