Went very smoothly. I was surprised at how realized I actually was that someone else was packing and moving my things but they put my mind at ease and showed me they were qualified.

The team was on time and very professional and polite and very respectful of my goods.

Steven (driver) was on time and helped us pack some extra boxes. No major damage with move.

If I could give this company an F- I would. The whole moving experience was beyond any nightmarish situations I had read about from all my reviews of different companies. To start with they were a day late, and then late getting started the day of the move and I had to have the house clean, carpets cleaned before hitting the road to MT the next morning. They guys were nice enough that did the actual moving, but somewhat disoraganized and it took them over 6 hours for a job that shouldn't have taken more then 3 to 4 hours at most as I had everything packed and ready to to go. I had planned on having time with friends before leaving and instead had to be cleaning. Then they wanted to check my credit card to make sure I had enough credit for the move, promising they were not going to run the card. I discovered a few days later that they indeed had run the card, and that they were having a hard time finding a driver to move my stuff. So for 2 weeks I'm left with nothing...this company has my money AND my stuff. I have to call everyday since the promises of phone calls to keep me posted were not happening. I paid up front for shuttle service to my house since a big moving rig would not be able to get to my house. I was assured over and over that the driver had been given notification of that, and when the driver did get here he had not been informed, and I had to hire a UHaul myself on top of the $460 I had already paid out for this shuttle service. To add insult to injury, this company stole my very good hand truck. Driver stated it was not with my things, and since it almost got left behind, it was thrown on the truck without it being inventoried. Something I believe was planned by the movers. I depend on that handtruck a lot since I live alone and is my only way to get things moved around. I hope Angie list will remove this company from their site. Has no business being here.

The national company, Wheaton Van Lines, messed up our packing and loading dates for our move. I called Quality Moving the day before I was expecting them to pack, they told me they were not scheduled until the following day. I asked them three times to call their head office and fix this problem and they said they could only leave a message because they were closed. I was assured the following day that Wheaton does have a 24/7 access number, but somehow the Vacaville office did not know how to call it or use it. Because the pack was scheduled a day late, I had to keep my plane tickets with my two young children and could not be at our home for the full-packing of all our goods. Everything seemingly went well on the day of the pack, however the packers were very anxious to get back to Vacaville from Sac to not miss game 7 of the NBA playoffs. Turns out, they failed to pack 15 boxes of dishes and breakables that I had left open to be 'repacked' (although the boxes were not packed at all). When I called my husband during the time of the loading of the truck, he confirmed that those boxes were taped shut. When he picked one of them up and gave it a jiggle, the whole thing clanked around, as the dishes had no packing materials between them. It seems that all the other packing of the house went ok (I have not seen the unloaded results yet) however, somehow, they were fine to completely disregard an entire wall of dishes. Not just any dishes, but irreplaceable dishes that are no longer manufactured and are also sentimental. Since then, I have only had to deal with the National office and have mixed results there. I am waiting to see how our items are delivered. Update October 2010- All our dishes arrived in tact, however, all the items from my house were a complete mess. These packers had included in the same box: toys and my mandolin blades (sharper than knives). They also dumped out all my smaller, organized boxes into huge boxes and included items from all over the house, so that my daughter's toys were in my office items, etc. Here's a great example: they packed my toilet brushes on top of my toothbrushes and all our bathroom items in a large box with nothing wrapped separately. There were many boxes that had no support at the top, so they were damaged in the move along with random things in the boxes. The worst damage was that my power cord on my kitchen aid mixer was severed (must have happened by it's own weight in the box). It has taken me months to put back together all the stuff that they so carelessly threw together at packing time. You can bet I wished I had packed all the boxes myself and will do so next time.

Overall the move went well. We didn't have a long time to schedule the move. In fact, I called Quality Moving Service about 3 days before we needed them. Vidal was very helpful in scheduling the move and coordinating the move from the office. The crew was to arrive between 9:00 and 9:30 am, but still were not present by 9:45 am. I contacted Quality Moving Service to make sure they were coming. Don and Marcos arrived at 10:00 am. Although they were a bit late, they made up for it in professionalism and speed. I would not classify them as detail-oriented, but both men were very courteous and hard working. The entire job from start to finish took 2.5 hrs. I would use this service again in the future, but I felt it important to work closely with the crew (not micromanage, but be present) to make sure everything was done the way I wanted.
