Professional Pool Service

Professional Pool Service is anything but professional. (The company truly deserves a ZERO star rating. Their only redeeming asset is Korie. She was always very nice and helpful, trying her best to clean up the messes that the employees around her had made.) I used this company for nearly 2 years of service and ended up having to fire them. Long story short: DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY. The troubles began when one of my neighbors alerted me to the fact that the pool techs were spending no more than 1-2 minutes at my home each week. (Essentially just long enough to park in front of my house and go to the backyard to jot down their initials & date on the tracking magnet they use to show they provided 'service'.) Fortunately, I was able to catch them in the act one day when I was home sick from work. I heard the tech pull up and go to my backyard. He never even stepped foot on my pool deck before getting back in his truck and driving away. I immediately phoned their office to express my concerns. Korie pulled up the GPS tracker on my tech's truck which confirmed that he had spent LESS THAN 2 MINUTES at my home. Upon confirming that the techs had NOT been providing the service I had been paying for, I decided to take a sample of my pool water to a local pool supply store for testing. No surprise: my pool water had ZERO chlorine in it and was completely off balance. The gentleman at the pool supply store was shocked when I told him that I actually had a weekly pool service that I was paying for because of the terrible state that the water was in. I immediately contacted Korie at the front desk to cancel my service. She confirmed my cancellation and offered to have their service manager personally come out to my home to get my pool balanced one final time. I appreciated her offer and agreed to allow him to come to my home to get the pool sorted out. He showed up once, late, and unprepared (no cleaning equipment, no testing equipment, nothing). He promised to return the next day at an agreed upon time so I could meet him there. He never showed, never called. Much to my disappointment and frustration, I continued to be charged for my services despite my request to cancel (and no, I was not receiving any services). I requested a refund for the fraudulent billing that had occurred after my cancellation date as well as reimbursement for the months of fraudulent service I had paid for. To their credit, I received repayment for the months (yes, months!) I was billed after my cancellation; however, it was another thing to get them to reimburse me for the months that I had paid for their tech to jot down his initials and the date. I ended up resorting to contacting the Better Business Bureau (BBB) because Professional Pool Service refused to work with me in a professional manner. Once the BBB had reached out the company, I received a phone call from the owner, Justin. He was willing to reimburse me for two months of fraudulent service; however, only if I revoked my complaint with the BBB. (Blackmail?) I chose not to acknowledge his request and waited for my reimbursement check to arrive. To their credit, they did finally reimburse me and my report with the BBB remains in place.

Excellent quality work and prompt once work is scheduled. The only issue I have is that sometimes it is difficult to get work scheduled for some reason (not always prompt to return calls and sometimes difficult to get work scheduled). Once the work is scheduled, everything is excellent

Nice, responsive, affordable pricing and would recommend to others..

They have been excellent. They have given me excellent service. They are responsive to my phone calls. They call me back right away, and they solve the problem when there is a contingency. They handle that right away.

Yesterday the hose came off the jet vac when I wasn't home and started draining the pool. When I discovered it I called to find out how we could fix this problem so it wouldn't reoccur. Even though I turned the equipment off and could have waited for the next scheduled visit, Justin was here within an hour and took care of it.
