 + -1 moreWhen the part was received, he installed it. He only charged me for the first visit ($110) and waived the visit fee for when he came back to install the part (which cost $150).
Description of Work: One evening my main circuit panel made a clicking sound for a couple of hours. I called Davis electric the next morning and an electrician came out that afternoon and determined one of the breakers was the problem. Because it was an old breaker, he had to order the part.

Description of Work: My son researched and first spoke with Albert D of David Electric as he knew I was in the market for recessed lighting in my living and family rooms. Albert then responded to my phone call quickly, came to the house to look over needs, propose solutions that we came to an agreement on and deliver an acceptable quote. |He provided the 12 needed ceiling lights, wiring, dimmers etc for those 2 rooms. I also added in a bathroom ceiling fan - which I provided. |He was responsive, on time, explained installation process, worked quickly, cleaned up the debris, etc. I recommended David Electric to a few of my neighbors who have also hired him. I am currently planning a few more electric projects for him. I was very impressed with how well this went.

 + 0 moreDavis Electric and Systems was one of two bids we received to update the electrical in our 1902 home. We based the work on the home inspection we received when we bought the house. Tim took his time to go through our entire home to compare notes with the home inspection. He was able to determine the home inspector made a lot of guesses and actually there were parts of our electrical which had been taken out of service and thus the work became simply removing the wires and boxes. This saved us a lot of money. The other contractor we had over did not fess up to these findings and was going to charge as if the system was still live. We knew we were in good hands with Davis Electric because any contractor who tells you the work is actually less then what we had thought is an honest business person. Tim also add outdoor lights, added outlets and swapped out knob and tube wiring where it was needed. He was efficient, showed up on time, very clean and communicated with us every step of the way. He was always easy to reach and his work came in on time and on budget. Perfect!
