Azkany Painting was called in to repaint a newly built garage after an unsatisfactory job by the original painting subcontractor. Additionally I asked if Azkany knew of a contractor that could install flashing and trim around the lower perimeter of the building, and he did know of a carpenter that could help. The quote was $1,300 for painting, and $700 for flashing & trim (materials & installation). After quote approval, the job was scheduled the next week. Azkany Painting and the carpenter showed up on time as scheduled and got right to work. The job was completed in two days and on the last day Azkany walked the building with me to be sure I was happy and touch up anything I might have seen. The results are beautiful. The trim really completed the look of the building, and flashing gives me peace of mind that water will not intrude into the building walls. The paint is full coverage with no thin areas. They even painted the concrete below the siding for a consistent look. Nice touch! I am very happy with the results!
Description of Work: Provide/install flashing at sill plate under siding and provide/install trim over flashing, prime & paint. Re-paint exterior of newly built garage, including caulking, 2nd coat of paint, and first coat touch-up.

Azkany Painting did a great job! They quoted in early Summer 2014 and I called them back to do the work in December. They honored the price quoted. After the rain stopped and holidays were over, they started the work in early January 2015. Golfran and his team moved everything away from the house (they beat us to it and didn't complain one bit or reschedule to wait for us to move our stuff!) and pulled the soil back where it was close to the stucco or siding. They pressure washed the house first and removed the old flaking paint. After drying, they re-caulked the whole house and filled in stucco cracks. Then they primed where wood was exposed after pressure washing and painted. I had a dark trim color before and was changing the trim to white which took some extra coats of paint to cover. Not a single complaint about extra materials or labor as some contractors would indicate. Just a mention that he would need to come back an extra day to add a little more paint to be sure it was covered. Golfran asked us to walk the house on the last day to check for anything needing touch up before he left. Found one small area and he immediately touched it up. He also said if we noticed anything after he left to just call him and he'd come back and take care of it. The painting was done in January and it is now April. My house is beautiful and we have not found a single other location where touch up is needed. There was one area on the roof where the roof line lowers about 2 feet so there is a stucco wall and eaves on top of the lower roof. The previous owners did not paint that area when they changed color schemes many years prior, so the wood fascia was in real had shape. It looks like Golfran must have scraped and filled it, because it looks great...and it is well sealed. I couldn't be happier with the service. I thought it was a little expensive at first, but after seeing all the work that they put in, I'd say it was a value. They did it right. I have peace of mind that not only does it look nice, but it is sealed.
Description of Work: On exterior of home, pressure washed, removed old flaking paint, caulked, and painted. Changed color scheme.
