Description of Work: Trimmed and thinned 4 trees on property. Crew was very professional and cleaned up in excellent manner. Owner was very knowledgeable. I will have them back next year.

Description of Work: wanted to have my palm trees pruned, called them out for an estimate. I have about 21 palm trees ranging from about 8 ft to about 40 ft. I know this is a big job with much liability. I had them pruned by the brother of my gardener last year who did an excellent job at a VERY reasonable price. My gardener is no longer with us, so was unable to re-use his brother's tree service. Called this company out, the serviceman took a quick glance at the front yard, we walked into the back yard, it wasn't but about 10 seconds where he wrote an immediate estimate for an astounding $1100!!! Way too much for a two hour job. Didn't bother giving much of an explanation of the price or working on a better price, as if he immediately decided there was no interest, and wasn't worth the time. Found a professional service that did the same for me for $675, and performed an excellent job. Attempted to use Tom Day service because of the fair reviews I read on Angie's list, and they may still be great, I just thought the price was WAY overboard and just thrown out there. I do live an a very nice neighborhood on a large property, and I feel this may have went into the price calculation which I think is very unfair
