T & G Roofing and Solar Company

Came out to give me an estimate on a small roof leak. He identified and explained the leak quickly and I was very impressed. He then added may other items to the estimate that were unrelated to the leak. I liked his ideas but just needed to get the leak done asap and he agreed to get separate quotes to me -- one for the roof leak and one for all the other things that would have to be done over the coming years, I never heard back from him -- even after I followed up to check in -- so I just gave up. UPDATE: We had some missed communications and I believed Mike never got back to me -- when he realized this he called me immediately and provided the information I needed. Very prompt and professional --trustworthy. Will have him do my work afterall and then will update again when it is completed! :)

T & G installed my cement tile roof many years ago and it still looks great, so when it was time to go solar I gave them a call along with many other solar companies. Unlike the other companies, they listened to me and proposed a system that would fit my needs. They gave me options on panels and since they are a roofing company, they were able to move a roof vent to accommodate my desire for a particular location. Janet, Lynnae, Tom, and Mike are all very professional, knowledgeable, and just nice people to deal with. They give you an appointment time, not a four hour window, and show up on time. They answer all your questions thoroughly and call you to keep you informed on how the process steps are going. The crews are easy to work with and talk to. They clean up after themselves each day and the quality of the work is outstanding. Everything is well coordinated and the process took about 3 days. They had to replace my electrical panel and Nate the electrician made sure to label all the breakers in the new panel and he re stuccoed around the panel to perfectly match the existing stucco. After I signed the contract, the system was up and running in less than a month and that includes all the city permits and SCE approvals and PTO. It's producing beyond the estimate and I can monitor it online with the Enphase Enlighten monitoring system that is awesome.

It was a pleasant experience from sales call to installation. They came on time and had professional staff working. They were flexible and made any last minute changes I requested without hesitation. They did a good job cleaning up everyday and did it multiple times a day to ensure least impact on the surrounding areas. They did the job quickly within three days from start to finish. I would recommend them without any hesitation.

Mike came out and provided us a quote for a new roof. He was very professional and personable. He was clear about the lead time to complete the project. It took about five days total to complete. The team ended up uncovering a lot more damage when the initial roof was pulled off which resulted in the quote needing to modified due to additional dry rot that was discovered. We weren't entirely prepared for the additional costs, but understood what was necessary to complete the job. Of course this type of purchase is always painful, but necessary at some point. The warranty is great and transferrable which is also a plus We are completely happy with choosing T&G to replace our roof.

It was great. He did a great job. They showed up when they said they were going to show up. They kept in contact with me for scheduling. They completed it when they said they were going to complete it. They were just great. They presented themselves very well. They did the demo in a day and actually the whole roof was done in 3 days. I actually got 6 estimates and they were the one I felt most comfortable with.

We originally had the inspection on Friday, Jan. 16, 2015, and received a very thorough estimate/paperwork via email on the following Monday, Jan. 19th. We signed our contract via email on Wed., Jan 21st, but we contacted them on Jan. 29th because we still hadn't heard back from them as to when our roof would be scheduled for repair. (Our only concern and reason for the "B" rating on "Responsiveness.") We needed to have the roof repaired ASAP because of mold on the ceiling and walls in our walk-in closet caused by the roof leak. T & G expedited our scheduling and were set for repair on Feb. 4th. The two T & G employees arrived on Feb. 4 around 8:30. All work was quickly and thoroughly done, and by 1:45 they were completed with not only the repair, but had also fixed many other tiles/areas on the roof. No trash was left - everything was super clean, and the roof looks great!!!! The main representative that day was extremely polite, knowledgeable, and professional. We are so pleased with the workmanship, professionalism, and price with T & G. Even better, they offer a 5 year workmanship warranty! We can't believe that everything was done in less than 6 hours! We highly recommend this company!

Helpful and friendly on first call. Set up apt for '11 to 1130' with the guy who was supposed to give the estimate. Took a day off work to be there. NEVER SHOWED! I got a call from a woman who said she was with the provider and that she was sorry (voice and tone suggested she clearly was not) but the estimator 'forgot' he had another appointment at the same time he made one with me. Would have been disappointing but acceptable if she'd called at 1100 or so. NOOOOO I got the call at 1220 while still waiting for the nimrod. Hope no one counts on professionalism or punctuality from these guys. They apparently are busy enough that customer service discussed in the prev ratings has slipped. Will take my biz elsewhere and trust the list's rating less

It went great! The crew was super-professional and did everything that was requested (at least, to this untrained pair of eyes). It was a good experience from the initial estimate through the final clean-up. I'd use them again and recommend to anyone looking for quality roofing work.

They were wonderful. They were recommended by my mortgage company. They were super honest. I had a bad experience with another roofing company which I got from Angie?s List. I found out that he does not have a license. T & G Roofing did not charge me for the inspection and the paper work. They even helped get a refund for the previous expenses I had with the first company. All I had to do was pay for the materials that was used because he felt so bad with what I went through with the previous company. Their honesty really stood out to me. Not all people will do that and not charge especially if it was not their work. I will definitely call him if I have a problem with my roof.

We contacted T&G Roofing to request they come out and look at a roof on a home we are buying to fix up, focusing on repair comments provided by a home inspector. Mike showed up right at the scheduled time and provided the evaluation we were looking for at no charge! He was very professional and gave us great feedback. We will definitely call them for any needed repairs in the future and recommend them to anyone with roofing repair needs.

T&G Roofing provided all requested quotes, and certificate of insurance on a timely manner prior to the start of the project. The start of the project was on the date and time promised without delays. The crew that performed the work did a great job from start to finish. Santos the crew foreman was very helpful and answered all questions with a great attitude. The office personal always replied to my e-mail questions on a timely manner. Overall it was a great experience working with this company, I would highly recommend them, I know its hard to find a good contractor especially when there are so many choices out there.

Everything went great. Mike Cernile was very professional and knows a lot about roofing. He has plenty of experience. They took the old roof off one day, then put the new roof on in a day and half. They work hard, and do a great job. Everything was cleaned up when they left. I would recommend T&G to all my family and friends.

Mike came out to a home that I am purchasing. I needed to know if the repairs that had been previously done by another Roofer at the request of the seller had been done properly and the general condition of the roof. I cannot thank him enough for the reassurances he gave me. I will have T&G out to check on my roof bi-annually to make sure all of the flashings, seals, tiles are in good shape.

Everything and everyone were wonderful, explained any questions asked. Whole job was completed on time. Would recommend them to anyone who would require the services supplied by their company, Tom and Mike were extremely professional, knowledgeable and courteous.

From the time Mike came to gives us estimates for a new tile roof, installing plywood to the roof, insulation, wood repair on the house and attic to the completion of the work we experienced nothing but professional, individual excellent service. This service was the same for each and every worker that provided services. The crew was meticulous in their work, each day when they left they ensure our property was left clean and presentable. They and T&G management kept us informed at every step. We would more than recommend them to anyone needing roofing.

T&G Roofing from the agent who presented the estimate and terms down to the last worker completing the job were not only extremely professional, but meticulous in their work. Someone from the company was present every day to see that the job was on tract and meeting their high standards. The workers and supervisors let us know constantly what was going on, concerns or asking our input. Every day before the left our property was cleaned and presentable. I would more than recommend their company to the most pickiest of customers. Mike was very thorough with his estimate & very informative as well. His roofing business is one of a few that will do gutters as well. We ended up not pursuing his proposal because we weren't ready for the amount of work on our roof that he suggested. But I would highly recommend his company.

Very professional. He spent a lot of time inspecting the composition roof, and the exterior siding. He told her it was not a roof leak, but likely the siding needed caulking in a few places, something a handyman, or one of her son-in-laws could do. When she offered to pay him for his time, he refused. My Mom was thrilled with his professionalism and really appreciated his honesty.

The refi company recommended them to me to inspect my roof. The roof is perfect, it has a 10 year warranty on it now. I was literally in tears when I called him. We were under a deadline to do a reverse mortgage and the prior contractor did not have a valid license so it was not accepted by the bank. I called him and he literally came out that day. He came over that day, got up on the roof, had his secretary write up the paperwork so that my husband could go pick it up within 15 minutes. He did charge us a dime for the inspection because he felt so bad about what the other guy had done. As far as I am concerned, no body is ever going to get up on my roof.

They came out and do the repair. They were only here for about thirty to forty-five minutes. I made a call I think the price was appropriate for the time they spend here even though they adjusted it. And the owner called me and sent back four hundred dollars. He said they estimated a little high and he returned the money. They have lots of integrity and they're very good. That was worth it.

It was one of the best experiences we have ever had with a contractor. They delivered as promised in a punctual and professional way. at one point during the work. I noticed something that need to be tweaked and without hesitation they fixed it. They also cooperated with our painter and worked together to complete the jobs needed. We could not be happier with the results.

T & G Roofing removed my old shingle roof and installed a new shingle roof. I called them after my roof had received bad wind damage. My friend referred me and told me that they were honest and provide excellent service. Mike Prescher came and provided me with a written estimate. He also told my that my homeowners insurance policy would most likely pay for the new roof. All I did was call and make the claim and Mike handled the rest of the dealing with the insurance. It was so easy. The crew was great, they were all in company shirts. Cleaned up several times per day. I would highly recommend T & G Roofing Company to everybody. They also replaced a small amount of gutter for free to match my new roof. Great job!!
