Manny called in a crane to remove old unit & place the new unit. Process went well & was completed in half a day. New unit runs very well. It started with a service call for failed air conditioning unit. They replaced the circuit board in old unit & when they started it up, the new circuit board blew which cost me $345.00. This is my only complaint since I think they should have tested the unit for shorts & whatever before installing the new board. The old 4 ton unit was barely adequate since it was installed based on square footage of the house which is fine for standard 8 foot ceilings. Heating & cooling capacity should be based on CUBIC feet volume for houses such as this one with some 16 foot ceilings & some un-insulated flat roof areas which is why Manny recommended a bigger 5 ton unit.
Description of Work: Removed existing rooftop 4 ton central air & furnace unit & replaced with a 5 ton unit & a new thermostat.
