+ -1 moreHe was very nice and forthcoming and frank; I would contact him for any work I plan to do in the future. He confirmed that tex-cote is a scam, and may of these companies re-name themselves every few years to avoid responsibilities.
Description of Work: I asked him about a company who cold-called me about applying the "new miracle house coating" Tex-Cote (registered trademark). He stated it is known to be a scam, the tex-cote type painting does not hold up well on older houses, is very expensive to apply, and worse to repair; it has been around for 30 years, as long as he has been in business for 34 years (A rated)

+ -1 moreI had to go over some of the areas where I could see that it hadn't been covered well. It was a little bit more than what he quoted. Considering that I moved everything out of the way and all he had to do was come in and paint. Everything else was done. It was a bit on the high side for the time that he was here. It was only a couple of hours. He was very responsive. He was very professional.
Description of Work: I used Premier Painting to paint part of my downstairs and a stairwell. My whole place is only 975 square feet.
