Description of Work: Home Performance Matters gets an A+! They completed an energy upgrade for me which included insulation, can light replacement (updated and safer), duct sealing, water heater improvements, and window replacement. Andrew Durban spent a lot of time with me answering my many questions and presenting many different options to find one that best fit my needs. The excellent communication in the company is a huge plus and something I really appreciated. Prior to work starting my project manager Matt met with me and walked me through every step of the process. He promised me an update at the conclusion of every day and asked how I preferred to receive the update; email, phone call or both. He delivered on his commitment. There was also always someone on site who was in charge and was willing to answer any questions. They also pointed out and took care of small things for me like a small leak at the water heater line and alerted me to things i might just want to keep an eye on. My window replacement went very smooth as well. Jason and his crew were prompt and efficient. What I appreciated most is the integrity of the individuals at HPM. Many companies tout integrity on websites and its easy to say. But, how do you really know? I now know after having worked with HPM. First, they got to know my house inside and out, literally every crevice. They conveyed that they cared about doing quality work in all phases of the project and they delivered. More importantly, they conveyed an interest in taking care of my home (my largest single investment). Price was more than fair for the peace of mind and quality work received from this company.

Description of Work: Home Performance Matters led us through our energy retrofit process for our house from the first step to the last. They were just terrific every step of the way. They *really* care about what they are doing, they want the job done right because in an energy retrofit, if you don't do it right then you just waste more energy than ever. They are committed to the community and to the quality of their work. Plus they are very pleasant and professional to deal with, very responsive and ready to stand behind their work. Andrew, Mylon, and everyone, are people we would call if we ever wanted anything done.
