+ -1 moreIt went extremely well. The owner, Lance Bennett, was directly involved in supervising all hardscape and landscape work, and was quite flexible and easy to work with. He was very meticulous and conscientious about ensuring that every part of the project was perfect. This was a large project which was estimated to take 5-6 weeks, and was completed in less than 5. The final result was a gorgeous drought resistant yard and I would highly recommend Garden Designs.
Description of Work: Tear our a 37 year old yard, both front and back, including 2,400 sq. ft. of the front and back turf lawns, and juniper bushes covering front and back banks. Draw up a plan and create a yard with drought tolerant plants, automatic drip system with new valves, low-voltage lights front and back. Lawns were replaced with decomposed granite (DG) and flagstone walkways. Banks were covered with bark, and some other flat areas with pea gravel and others with 3" rocks. Front bank was reinforced with retaining wall block in several locations. Built a river stone stream bed on the front bank. Added decorative boulders and wood boarders were appropriate.
