Starting a major renovation is always daunting. It is difficult to find contractors you can trust, that can provide quality work and reasonable pricing. In Alex/Nate and AC Dunlap, we found all three amongst over 10 contractors we interviewed. Alex took the time to explain the process step by step and was detailed with his rendering and cost break down. He and his crew were very professional and showed up on time. Alex would readily communicate and accommodate with schedule changes. Alex is also flexible with any changes in plans and provides several options. He is also upfront with any additional costs. He/Nate are meticulous but fast and efficient. Each time they leave for the day, they make sure the place is in order and vacuumed. We could not have been more pleased with the quality of work and the final outcome. Our kitchen is more spacious and functional. It feels so much more peaceful. Everything in the other reviews is true... and more. Alex is a consummate professional. He is knowledgeable, is easy going, and is a man of his word. My one requirement when we met was that he work with two Lowe's employees, with whom I'd dealt at earlier times, in the procurement of the necessary materials for my project. While he promised that he would, I was still a little apprehensive. I need not have been because he did work with one of them and my remodeled bathroom is all the better for it. Yes, from what I know now of his dedication to his clients and of his work ethic, it is absolutely possible that the end result would have been the same. However, the fact that he kept his word to work with one of my chosen contacts and with my chosen store adds an indescribable feeling of contentment and joy to the completed job. Thanks, Alex. After a slab leak we hired Alex to update our fireplace and mantle, install new kicks on the bottoms of our cabinets, interior paint, install new baseboards and reinstall our garage door threshold. Alex and his team were wonderful through the entire process. Top notch customer service, extremely kind and compassionate, very professional and absolutely amazing work. Where do I begin! Having a full time job and being a full time caregiver, the thought of starting a bathroom remodel was stressful. Alex stated that he wanted this to be a fun experience and we would work together to get this done to my satisfaction. Alex (and his crew) were always polite, respectful, communicative, and punctual! Alex did have to remind me a few times not to stress and was always patient with me. Alex went above and beyond to make sure I knew what was happening throughout the entire project and that I was happy with the end result...down to the smallest detail! I am writing this review to highly recommend Dunlap Construction. The owner Alex went above and beyond for our kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room remodel. He was knowledgeable, courteous, and worked in a very timely manner. He was also very involved in the entire process. Our kitchen turned out absolutely beautiful, and I could not be happier! I would also like to add that being a very high risk family for Covid complications, Alex worked with me over the phone or video call to limit face to face contact. Iâ m sure this was a different way of doing things for him, but he had no problem understanding our family situation. Thank you Alex, everything looks amazing! I 100% recommend Dunlap Construction. Trust me when I say, you will not regret using this company.

Remolded both upper bathrooms completely and did a beautiful job with all the upgrades. I would have them remold my entire kitchen next!

Alex and Nate did a great job on our bathroom remodel in our house. We needed to expand the bathroom into a hall closet and relocate the closet by taking out a portion of a previously established closet. There were bumps in the road with a few subcontractors, but Alex was diligent and always made sure the job was done to 100%. We love our new bathroom and are so happy with the work done. We will definitely hire Alex again for our future projects.

We have had multiple home improvement projects done over the past few years and normally issues with the planning or the project itself come up. Our experience with A.C. Dunlap was flawless. They were great to work with. Our schedule was accommodated, they showed up on time and finished our three bathrooms in one day. Beautiful results. We are appreciative and we highly recommend them.

We first contacted Alex in late 2020 for a full kitchen remodel, however due to the Covid surge we put the project on hold until we were all vaccinated. To his credit, Alex honored the original quote he provided 6 months earlier. Alex and His assistant Nate were consummate professionals. His communication on my kitchen remodel was excellent. He made a few recommendations that absolutely improved the results and they did not increase the cost of the project. The only reason this is not a 5 star review is due to his tile subcontractor who was totally responsible for the project not being completed on time. Alex and Nate acknowledged our pain however the reality was you can’t change horses in the middle of the race so we just dealt with his delays. The demo crew was awesome and efficient, the electrician and plumber were top notch. We moved a water supply for our refrigerator and a gas line for the stove without any issues. The painting crew was a pleasure to work with; we had them quote painting additional areas and were very pleased with the results. I would not hesitate to contact Alex for any future work on my house. He is fair, reliable and delivers on his promises.

Alex and his team were amazing! They did an amazing job remodeling our master bathroom. It now looks like a spa or a high end hotel suite bathroom. My wife and I love it. He is so easy going and very easy to work with. Whenever we wanted to change something in the design it was never a big deal and he was always flexible. At the end of every day Alex and his crew would clean everything and vacuum so not to leave behind a big mess or a bunch of dust. I would high recommend AC Dunlap and will be using them again for my future projects.

Ive heard the horror stories about hiring a contractor and was very cautious when my husband and I decided to have our kitchen remodeled. However, Alex and his team put our fears at ease and exceeded our expectations. We were so happy with our kitchen remodel that we decided to have him replace two of our bathroom vanities as well.
