From the moment I first called George Hackett, I was impressed. I was in a panic to have the first part of my perimeter fence installed (to keep my neighbor's 70 cows out of my yard!) and though he was very busy, he made an appointment to come see my job the next day. I had purchased the fencing materials with the intention of doing the job myself, but the heavy rocks in the area made me realize I simply could not handle it. George assured me he could do it, gave me a fair estimate (in writing) and a start date later in the week. When the day to start arrived, he was there with a helper, on time and with all my fencing materials - he had gone to pick them up to save me the trip! Both George and his assistant were pleasant, friendly and completely professional. Needless to say, the job was perfect, with sturdy corner braces, concreted posts and the heavy rock area handled with no problem. The bill was exactly the price as stated on the estimate. Over the next nine years, George has worked in the exact same fashion more than half a dozen times on my property. We completed the perimeter fence, added extra barbed wire in areas where the dogs can escape and installed a driveway gate with an automatic gate opener. Each job was completed on time, at budget, and with care. Every brace, post and gate are perfectly placed, straight, sturdy and working. Sometimes automatic openers and swing arms can be temperamental, but George will work on them until they run smoothly and can usually make it over within a day or two if an unforeseen problem arises. George is a perfectionist; he is thorough, neat and professional. You can be assured that your job is done correctly and that he stands behind his work.
