+ 1 moreMost of the concrete job, he left his workers here to do the job and he went to another job in the neighborhood , which mean he was not here to supervise. I hired him , not his crew. It is his responsibility to oversee the job is done correctly. The side wall he build himself and done a sloppy job. Promised he will come back and I have not seen him yet. Also, during the project, he has asked for money in cash so that he can pay his bills and concrete delivery. I'm overall very disappointed and will not hire this person again. I would of hired him to build a shed and a pergola but bought these items from Home Depo instead and they have done a fantastic job. Even though this person has a license, their work is substandard.
Description of Work: Don'ts: Poured a slab of concrete in the back yard, approximately 11' by 24'. Concrete buckled in the middle, does not drain, water settles in the middle creating puddles. Drains are too small and because of the dip in the middle of the concrete , the drains do not drain. Also , the drains are located in the wrong place and position. The only way to fix it now is to tear it all out or lay outside tiles on top of the concrete to level the ground which is additional money out of my pocket. Dont's: Masonry = build outside 4 ' walls in front of the house. The front wall outside the front door is fine however the side house wall does not have a drain which means the water settles in the corner. He promised to come back and fix it and never did. I am still waiting.Also on the neighbors side of their property the bottom layer of the concrete which is sticking out into their property , has not been scraped off, pertrudes out and the neighbors are upset at me for the lousy work. Also he left concrete pieces on their property and lawn without cleaning it up. Also their are concrete spots on my white garage door which are stuck on.
