I'd always had good luck with these folks before. They'd fixed numerous appliances quickly and at decent cost. Well, my washing machine was shaking so badly I thought it would break through the floor and "walking" across the floor. I asked him to balance it and he put cardboard underneath! Next time I used the washer it shook right off the cardboard. He explained he could get rubber feet and that would work. They'd need special order so it would be 10 days. It took 3 weeks, I kept calling, finally wrote, I had paid in advance and was getting po'd. Finally he arrived, said the place he got the feet from were out and hand had to back order, which is what took so long. Fine, but he could have called and let me know. He put in the feet, but the machine still shakes and walks! Admittedly not as bad but for $255 and weeks waiting I expected it fixed. Or at least be honest and tell me it isn't fixable.

We asked him to tell us what it would cost to fix it. He told that because the part was coming from far away, that they were back ordered. So he said that we should expect in mid-February. I paid him in full, and he left. We waited, and waited, and we have been calling frequently since February, and I have been out of an over ever since. We started investigating to see if their were any other phone numbers. I finally got a woman on the phone that said they had changed their number since then. I got the run around with this lady after she called me back, claiming to be someone else. She told me that she didn't see an order from the company that order had been placed. I got a check today for $285, instead of for the whole amount that we were charged in the beginning. We called her back and she said that $65 of it was because of the service charge--that she never told me about in the first place. I went to a bank to get it verified, and it went through. I got a call from a number I didn't know. She called me by my nickname, which only people I know call me. She then told me that my mother was a number of expletives. At the end of it all, I still can't cook on my oven.
Description of Work: They came out to the house to fix our oven.
