flooring contractor, hardwood floor
+ 0 moreoverall i was pleased with the people and products from the laminate center. i bought 650 feet pergo style laminate 700 feet of accoustic underlay some quarter rounds 10 paint grade baseboards for 700 dollars including tax with a 25 year warranty. i dont think i could of found this quality flooring online or in the bay area for that price. also i had an extra box with they gave me a refund for so it eas even less that the stated price. Make sure you buy enough since the products sold there can be discontinued or closeouts but definitly worth taking a look at befor paying the big box price or driving to San francisco just to fing out that your favorite colr isnt in stock or it was made in china without good warrantees.
Description of Work: i bought about 650 square feet of Shaw laminate flooring for seven hundred dollars cash. I installed it myself. The sales person was knolegable and helpful with advice and she followed up with a phone call a few days later to see how my installation was going, I said i was having some trouble getting the first few rows started of this easy click oak laminate. within an hour the owner of the company came out to my house and gave me a quick tutoring with some hands on demonstration and brought an installation kit just in case i didnt have one. That was just what i needed and it started going in smoothly. he wouldnt take money for the kit. i felt impowered at that point and installed nearly 400 feet by nightfall. living room dining room and most of the kitchen. the next day i finished the kitchen, hall and the den. Im not very handy but did a decent job. Moving the furniture was the hardest part.
