R.S. Matzek Painting

Ron contacted me, as we had discussed, at around 9:30. I asked him to review the room first, because I attempted to painting it myself a couple of days earlier and had, as the kids say, an "epic fail". Ron had all of the equipment except the paint, and we made a Home Depot run -- he even saved me money on the paint with his professional discount. He double-checked my spackling work and fixed those spots, and helped me remove the venetian blinds. He then went to work, and it was like watching a magician performing or a master chef preparing a signature dish. Ron was incredibly skilled with his brush and roller. So precise, that he barely even needed tape, except for the floor, and I don't think he spilled a single drop at any point that day. We didn't re-paint the molding or the doors, but he was done with everything, including 2 coats of paint on the bedroom section, by roughly 3:00. I believe that most other painters would have required an additional day to accomplish everything he did. On all categories -- price, quality, responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism, I give him an A+++ with my highest recommendation to my fellow members of Angie's List. He also does exteriors, FYI.
