Iron Fence Restorations

I thought they did a great job. Now my fence is falling apart and they said they would come out around Christmas time and do the repairs I needed. I have called and called and they will not return my calls to come out and fix the bad parts of the fence. It's just falling apart and I'm afraid it will just one dad pop and all fall apart. I need them to call me back and come and fix it!

I needed my metal front gate repaired because it was rusted, but the cost of repair outweighed the cost of replacement. I was given a good price since the vendor said he had a larger order that he can dovetail my small order with but I just have to wait for about 2 weeks. I wasn't in a hurry but had to call him after 2 weeks and it took another 1.5 to schedule the work. He said it would take about 1-1.5 day to do the work but it dragged on to more than 3 days because of one reason or another. He also had to do some re-work to my satisfaction. Also had some small additional costs because the vendor kind of has selected memory as to what is covered in the job. I recommend writing down every single details, although I thought that I did. Overall, they did the job okay and tried to meet my expectation but not the most efficient crew.

This is the second time I've used Iron Fence Restorations. The first time was two years ago. Jeff did a great job then and he did a great job again last month. Jeff is responsive, quick to return your call, and flexible in scheduling a time to come out and provide an estimate. After checking out the areas of the fence with corrosion and rust, Jeff explained why this was happening and identified what needed to be done. His estimate was reasonable and realistic for the extent of the problem (which was isolated to a few areas, but significant in those areas). He was on time for the estimate and conveniently scheduled and completed the work (arrived at the scheduled time). I appreciated his easy-going manner, his professionalism and knowledge, and his advice. He made this a positive experience for me.

Our rental property needed a difficult interior stair repair. I contacted Jeff because he was local to our property (Tustin). Jeff arrived on time and gave me an estimate to weld two stair treads. Work was completed the next day in a few hours. Jeff is professional and I would highly recommend his services to anyone needing interior or exterior repair work.

I signed the contract on June 15, 2014 and sent a check for the deposit. On June 19 I was notified that the contractor was going to pass on the work. No explanation. The check and signed contact was sent back to me.

I love doing things around the house but can only do so many. I have a very high expectation and was glad that they shared the same goal. Meet, discussed approved the plan and three days later we had a new gate. Nice.

While doing a pool remodel, I had two side yard wrought iron gates that were in serious disrepair. Considering that the only way to meet code would be to replace them, I began a search of Angie's List and came across Iron Fence Restorations. I called Jeff and he came out to the house and provided a detailed analysis of what he would recommend to recondition the gates and the associated cost estimate. He sounded positive and knowledgeable and I decided to go forward. I am glad that I did. The final results were two gates were as good as new and at about the 1/3 the cost of replacement. Restoration of your wrought iron is an excellent alternative to replacement and should be considered.

Called once and didn't get a speedy call back. Called again and he set a time (which he kept). repaired the gate and spot primed rusted areas on the gate.

We needed to repair an existing wrought iron fence that had rusted at the base in 2 places. Jeff from Iron Fence Restorations failed to show up for the first appointment & when I called to ask where he was, said he had car trouble. He did come out for the second appointment, and then did the work. We couldn't find anyone else that would even come out for a repair & are happy to have gotten it repaired, but thought it was a bit pricey for what ended up being done.

Came on time. Estimated the work and cost. Stayed and performed the work including priming the repair so that the painter could finish the job. Excellent all around.

I was very satisfied with the service I would recommend him.

The experience was pleasant until I was informed they didn't want my business.

Jeff was at our house when he said he would and finished as expected. The bid he gave us was the amount he charged. He got it done in the quick time frame we needed it done in. There was a gap where the fence met the wall in the yard (top part of our wall was further away than the bottom). He pointed it out to me, said it was a hazard (since he installed a pool fence) and then he returned for no extra charge and put a piece in to close the gap. THAT is quality service! I will recommend him and use him for other rental properties (and no he did not pay me to write this). It's just so great that there are wonderful, hard workers out there who do what they say they are going to do! He also repaired a fence at a different property that someone else put in, for FREE, which is unheard of.

Came out right away for an estimate. The repairs were excellent! Made a special trip to locate a hard to find finial. Jeff was professional and knew how to do the job correctly.

We found Jeff on Angie's List, sent him an e-mail, and had a phone conversation with a day or two. He stopped by to look at the job and provide a quotation approximately 24 hours after our phone conversation. We set the date based on association approval time requirements. Jeff supported documentation requirements of our association, and showed up to start work as agreed. He completed the work per the agreed schedule. We are completely satisfied with the work. Looks great!

I called them and they called be right back. They gave me an estimate the next day itself and did the work after some days. The young man who did the work was Charles and he was very nice. The owner Jeff called to follow up on the work. They could not get ot an area which they will come back and do in the fall. They made sure that we were happy. They did a really nice job. They called us a couple of times to make sure everything was okay. They were in and out in no time. It was a great experience.

Jeff Bush and partner were very accomodating and professional. We had numerous spots that required replacement of individual bars to entire section due to rust. The attention to detail and welding beads are perfect vs replacing entire fence. Good price, great work all completed on Saturday per our request. After painting looks like new. Note: painting is seperate and this company does not offer that service.

Talked to Jeff on the phone, he said he would call back on Saturday to schedule a visit the next week for an estimate. He didn't call, so I called him and we made appointment for estimate, but he didn't show. I called to follow-up, but he didn't return my call. I gave up.

Great work. Although it was a small job, Jeff was happy to accommodate me nevertheless. His work was outstanding and most of all, he was very cooperative. He certainly made this task easy for me with his recommendations and overall attitude.

Jeff is a very courteous and affable person. He gave us a reasonable estimate and delivered the services promptly as promised.

Jeff responded to my call and spent a lot of time trying to make the job turn out well. We had him come out again on 10-8-10 to make some enhancements to our gates. Job well done. Would recommend to him to get business cards and invoice each job.

They arrived on time. They did the work and cleaned up. They did what they said they were going to do. It was satisfactory.

He did an extraordinarily good job. He was honest and prompt. He was conscientious and very hard working. We were very happy with him.

I contacted Jeff and he came over to see the fence. He got back to me the next day and gave me a quote. I told them to go ahead with the job. They came on time and completed the work as described.

The gentleman's name was Jeff. I did not use him because the scope of the work that I needed to get done was beyond what his company could do. I wanted to install a new gate, a new side panel and a separate side path. The job involved some repairs and some new features. He quoted $1700. If he could have done the job that I needed, he would qualify to get the job. Unfortunately, there were some other things going on and he could not do the work; he could not paint. I would have to use another company to do the painting. He understood that. If I have any wrought iron work to be done, I will use him again in the future.
