This company did an excellent job and quality of work was top notch. The only drawback was the work was started 3 days later than originally requested so it was a scramble to get time off work. We asked that they have the work done in 7 days and they did comply, they even worked on Sunday to get it done. We felt that if they had gotten to our place earlier in the day they would not have had to stay so late or come on Sunday. But the end result is beautiful.

When my sister told me the manger was arrogant (which was her main reason not using the place), I was ?a little skeptical until I experienced first hand. ?To start my project, I visited the place twice, they also took?the measurement. ?Everything was fine up to the point ?when we started to negotiate the price. ?When I told the manger I need to sleep on their final offer. ?He started to put pressure on and indicated the price was no longer good once I walked out the door. ??At that point, I was seriously considering ?them.?I then told him, I needed to compare them with another contractor, that really set him off. ?He told me to go ahead with the other contractor, he did not want ?my business anyway from the very beginning. To me, this is really not professional and rude. ?If he did not want my business from the beginning, ?why wasting both of our time?

I had been shopping for wood floors and carpeting for a while. I called Rick at House of Flooring & Cabinets and made an appointment. When I went in Rick spent a lot of time asking questions about what I wanted and offering suggestions. He was very patient when I had a hard time deciding on what I wanted. Subsequent to that first meeting I made another appointment with Rick, dragging my husband along this time. We pulled out several samples that I was considering and took a long time making up our minds. At no time did Rick make us feel rushed; he gave us his full attention and told us to take as much time as we needed.We finally settled on the wood and carpet. We also decided to have the stairs redone and replace the baseboards. The spindles were to be replaced with wrought iron and the treads would have the same wood as the floors. The banister was to be stained the same color as the wood. Rick spelled out exactly what the project was so there wouldn?t be any questions later on. The price was more than fair. Since the wood was custom made, he told us it would take about six to eight weeks for it to come in, and he would call us as soon as he had it.About five weeks later I received a call from Rick to schedule the installation. Oswaldo and his crew arrived on time and went right to work. We have a lot of furniture and they moved everything efficiently and without a complaint. They were great to work with and completed the wood part of the job in the time frame I was given. We had four rooms of carpet installed after the wood flooring was finished. All four rooms were filled with furniture and the crew had to move everything. In spite of that, the carpets were installed in one day. The crew was very helpful. They even asked if the furniture was placed correctly and offered to move anything I wanted to place in a different space. I wish my husband was as accommodating! Our project manager, Alex, oversaw everything and checked with us several times to make sure we were happy with the products and the work being done. It is difficult to find contractors that start when they are scheduled, arrive on time every day, and do such beautiful work.House of Flooring & Cabinets did a wonderful job with my project. I can?t imagine going anywhere else and I?m looking forward to working with them again on our next project.

We were very pleased with House of Flooring the minute we entered their showroom. It is a one-stop avenue for everything you might need to remodel your home including kitchen counters, tile, back splash, hardware, and faucets & sinks. Rick and Alex were very patient and accommodating for our needs and budget, spending whatever time necessary as we tried to decide upon the look of our new kitchen and floors. They had answers to our questions and happily provided advice and suggestions. They gave us as much time as we needed to pick out what we wanted and what would look good. As with any remodel there will be times of disagreement or dissatisfaction, but House of Flooring people were very patient and eager to make sure any mistakes were corrected. It was quite clear that they are interested in having a satisfied customer in the end. I did have to call to their attention some mistakes by their workers, i.e. tools left out in high traffic areas, a drink cup or two left over from lunch, but they agreed to speak to their crews to solve that error. Let me give you an example of how well H of F addressed that issue. After replacing the flooring on our stairs, the stairs creaked to an unacceptable noise level. Alex came out to inspect the problem and explained the source of the creaking. After some negotiation, he sent out a crew to repair it. I was under the impression that it would be a major job and would take 3-4 days. I wasn't looking forward to having our home in disarray once again. The workers arrived early in the morning and when I returned from work it was as though they were never there. The stairs were silent and not a trace of debris or other construction mess. I would definitely recommend the services of House of Flooring if you are thinking of remodeling. They are honest, competent, professional, and personal. Thanks, guys.

This store has everything you could possibly need for your remodel or house project. Prices are much less than other tile /wood and kitchen cabinet stores. Wish I found this place sooner. The manager is super informative, he knows a lot about tiles, wood floor, stones and cabinetry, he really educated us to make sure we get what we wanted, The staff helped us whenever we needed anything, the project went so smoothly, their installers were great and they did a very clean job. If you're looking for a really cool mosaic tile, glass or stone or a combination or even metal - they have it. Tons of porcelain, Tons of ceramic, and plenty of Travertine, marble, etc. They have a wide collection of wood, you can find your favorite wood floor there and I appreciate they have such a good selection. We did our bathrooms and kitchen Cabinets, and our house price went up tremendously. Overall We are very happy that we chose house of Flooring and Remodeling Inc, Our Neighbors came over to see our newly remodeled house and they want to use their service too, because all the houses in our neighborhood need remodeling. We definitely call them again and for sure recommend them.

We consulted with HOF a year before we committed to the project and we are really glad that we finally went ahead with it. They stuck to their timeline and consulted us carefully regarding all details. Everyone went above and beyond and we had a really positive experience. The tile workers did a fantastic job reconstructing our bathroom as did the guys doing the kitchen granite, bathroom marble, wood floors and carpet. They went to a lot of trouble to configure our beautiful new baseboards in some difficult areas in the most attractive way, not just the easiest. Everyone went above and beyond and we had a really positive experience. It's so nice to feel even better about the project a few months down the road than we did when it was first completed. They worked hard for our recommendation.

As long as you stay on top of the workers and communicate with the foreman, things go well. Workers were willing to change out travertine if we did not like specific tiles. A bit more messy than I would have liked, but all-in-all the best product for the best price. The final results are amazing!

They were one of the lower estimates that we got. We went into their showroom and they seemed a little bit disorganized. He had a pile of papers on his desk and he tried to impress us that they were busy. We've been around the block a couple of times and showing us a stack of papers didn't mean anything to us. He showed us a treatment where we wouldn't get water spots and he was more concerned about that. He said that of course we would want that at an additional cost of $250. We didn't care about the price if it was recommended. He just did not give us the right kind of professional feeling. They were pretty responsive. They did make a couple of follow-up phone calls after they gave us the estimate to make sure that they were in the running or not. We have always believed that we get what we pay for and we were not sure we would get the quality we expected. They are not in the running for our job.

I had an idea about what design we wanted to follow to remodel our 36 year old kitchen. House of F &C plotted it out for us, gave us detailed information of every phase of the job that would be required, had computer models to show us, and gave us a computer generated design plan so we could visualize what it would look like . Im a pretty decisive person, so it was easy to make choices from the floor samples, asssisted by their expert guidance. I think it is important to stay on any job site while work is being done by ANY company, so I was always there to ensure the plans were followed through with. We never had a problem....never got the wrong delivery of materials, never had any installation problems. . The workers always double checked with me about my preferences and things I had not anticipated having to make decisions on. Whenever I had a question or concern, I always had an immediate response from the designer or the project manager. At times, without me even requesting it, my concerns were resolved immediately.. they always cleaned up at the end of the day and cleaned up after the project was completed. They have a consistant crew of workers who work FOR them . The kitchen was completed so quickly, that I chose to have them remodel our master bathroom two months later. Its already done . ONce again, we received great service and the project was completed before the three week estimate. I saw the same crew come in to complete the work on schedule. (A friend used another company and started a week before me and her project is still only 3/4 complete!) I now am in the midst of having House of F&C remodel our guest bathroom. Its a no-brainer when I know they are professional, responsive, punctual, fast, and their prices are competetive. Why should I bother to look anywhere else?

They did a good job with the flooring although their people were very messy. They just left things around. They were not punctual or neat. They didn’t keep things neat. I was satisfied with the job.

Every time my wife and I talked to Alex, the House of Flooring's representative that handled our order, he promised us 25 years warranty on a laminate flooring the company was going to install at our condo. Just before signing the House of Flooring's contract, we found out that there is a clause in the contract that states that only the warranty in the contract will be honored, unless another warranty terms are made part of the contract, i.e. written on the form. The only warranty on the House of Flooring's form is one year installation warranty. When I asked Alex to add in the contract the 25 years warranty he has promised us earlier, he refused and canceled the deal.
