Excellent! Very professional operation.

These guys are awesome. I am a tech savvy graphic designer with my own business and when my all-in-one machine refused to boot up my first instinct was to call Geek Squad. Big mistake. The Geek Squad rep was condescending ("Did you try pressing 'enter' when you got your error message?") and then told me it would take 4 days for someone to come out and look at it when I told her she wouldn't be able to fix this over the phone. So I checked Angie’s List and found these guys. They were pleasant, polite, quick and most importantly know what they are doing. They picked up my PC the same day and took a couple of days to diagnose and fix it. Turns out my hard drive was toast. They fixed my computer for under $300, then dropped it off at my office, plugged everything back in and showed me that it was working again. So happy I found these guys and will always use them for this stuff in the future. I highly recommend them!

Everything went smooth from the time I brought it in to the time I picked it up a day later.

Came in without an appt. they took us immediately and ran diagnostic for cost approval right away and had it back us before the end of the day. They were great! Super friendly and courteous staff.

I got some security software stuff from them. They were helpful. They tried to explain what was going on. I’ve been very happy with the computer that they recommended that I got as a replacement for the one that had gone bad. It’s not their computer. They just recommended one that they thought would be a good brand and a good buy. I really haven’t had any trouble with any of the Angie’s List providers that I’ve used. We used to have an in-home service that cost a mint so they were a lot cheaper than that. I would have spent a lot more money if I had somebody coming out. They would have done that I guess, but they seemed to have a fair price for bringing it in. I had just one little hitch with the quality. They didn’t quite get all of my pictures transferred initially and they thought they did. So I had to take the computer back more than once but I consider that a minor issue. They got it done. I had to go to them but it was ready when they said it would be, except for the minor quality glitch.

I have been real satisfied. I would recommend them.

We have used Computer Guys of Orange in the past for hardware problems and were very satisfied. This time we had software problems with two different desktop computers. One had corrupt drivers and a windows 7 operating system corruption. The other had corrupt drivers and a virus. Usually I can manage most software issues, but these were beyond my experience so we took them in to The Computer Guys. Each was fixed within a day. All are working well now.

They were polite, did a great job on fixing my computer and I would definitely recommend them to friends.

It went reasonably well. This is the second time they had repaired it. The first time they repaired it, it broke again so I'm not sure I was completely convinced they did a good job the first time but they have repaired it and it's working fine. I thought they're very helpful and they were able to get the problem solved.

We are so glad that all of our data was recovered! Also, I had another laptop PC that I brought in to get a keyboard key ("N") replaced, that had snapped off. I had contacted the manufacturer first and they were going to charge me a high amount to repair and I would have to mail it in and not be able to use if for several weeks. The Computer Guys fixed it for no charge on the spot. Much appreciated!

Everything went fine. No data was lost during upgrades and everything has been working smoothly. They wanted me to bring my computer to their shop and the entire process was less then one day. So far I'm very pleased.

I took my laptop into them when it shut down and would not restart. I thought I might have a virus or something as the system had been running slow for sometime.It worked fine after it was re-charged. I may bring the laptop into them at a later date as it is still slow, but I was impressed as to their honesty and professionalism.

I called up the Computer Guys and spoke with Glen. Described my problem and he said to bring it in to check it out. They are open until 7 PM so I was able to bring it in after work. The guys were professional in checking it in and I felt comfortable leaving it with them. Late the next morning they called after running the check. My hard drive was toast. Not surprised as the Windows repair program kind of indicated that. Luckily they had the hard drive and I picked up my computer after work - they had my computer for a total of 24 hours! When I turned it on I was pleasantly surprised to see that all the junk software put on by the manufacturer had been removed - my computer has never run better. Money well spent based on all the time I spent trying to resolve the problem myself. Highly recommend these guys.

Great service. Got it back within hours after dropping it off.

Ryan Bickston showed up promptly at 1PM and spent the next few hours scanning my PC and removing several nasty viruses that had infected my system, despite my having an active McAfee license. Ryan was great about giving me periodic updates as to how things were going, took his time to explain why my PC had not been as fully protected as I had assumed, and made sure that all programs were working as expected once the scan was complete and the viruses removed. Overall, excellent response time and excellent results, with minimal down time. I would absolutely recommend the Computer Guys of Orange County and will not hesitate to call them again if I have any future problems.

I took my computer to Computer Guys of Orange County, originally I had taken it to another computer shop who were unable to fix it. The computer guys diagnosed the problem correctly, replaced the bad hard drive and the computer now works fine. These guys are good at what they do, and opportunity to talk with the shop personnel who all seem to be very knowledgeable in all aspects of computer repair. My computer was an older one, 32-bit, so they had to do a little digging to determine the problem. The great job I would take it back to them anytime I have problem with my computer.

We needed a computer that did not have wireless capability to connect to our network printer. He was able to do this very efficiently.

My four year old DELL desktop died after a power failure. I was in a panic to get it fixed quickly and went to a big name local store with Geeks. I needed to have an appointment and therefore had to come back in a couple of hours to find that they did not have the parts required to fix it. I then called DELL and was passed around to 5 or 6 different service representatives to find out that they did not have a part. Then I called Computer Guys of Orange County and was told to bring the desktop in, no appointment necessary. When I brought it in to their store, Josh took about 3 minutes to diagnose the problem as a failed power supply and gave me a quote, which was a good price. I asked if they honored the Angies list discount and he said that they did. That made the price even better. I asked when it would be ready and he told me to come back in 1 hour. It was ready when I returned in less than an hour. They are very effective and efficient. I am very pleased!

My computer stopped working after some guests used it. They apparently got on a website that caused some problems. Computer Guys of Orange County said it would cost $100 and take 2 days to fix it. I left my compter with them on Monday morning. I got it back on Thursday afternoon. They said it took an extra day because the problem was more difficult than they expected. Everything has been OK for more than 2 weeks now. I might have found a less expensive alternative. But their location was convenient for me. And they did their work well. I'm happy. I will use them again if I have more computer trouble.

Very happy with the service! He arrived promptly, was very courteous and was able to solve everything very quickly. Very reasonable prices. The places we have used in the past were never this quick and sometimes never solved the problems, leaving us with a bill and the original problems. Will definitely call Computer Guys back every time we need service!

Ispent more than 3 hours and several calls to ATT to do this myself. Adrian did it all in 35 minutes

When I went to pick up the computer, the day after I dropped it off, they were honest and told me the problem was very minor and did not charge me.

CGOC responded quickly to our problem. They sent one person and ended up bring in a second for a short period to do additional line checking. They were professional, courteous and prompt. But most important, they figured out where the problem was so that it could be fixed.

They were very courteous. They did exactly what I asked them to do and when it did not work they were more than happy to make it work.

The service was awesome. It was very good. They were very professional and on time. The price was reasonable and I got what I paid for.
