Description of Work: They replaced my 48 year old forced air furnace with a new one. I opted for a 2 stage which increased the price several hundred dollars but was not subjected to any pressure to buy the more efficient one Even though I was actually located outside their normal service area they still responded to my call and I felt both the owner and the two installers were very professional and the whole experience was very positive. I would recommend them for any a/c or heating problem. My initial telephone contact with Trish, at the office was also very pleasant.

Description of Work: Our A/C stopped working during hot days of August. Cool Air promise next day service which they kept with on time service. Cool Air found the problem quickly and fixed the problem at a reasonable price.

Description of Work: Larry and Bill replaced the condenser and capacitor on my air conditioning system. They quickly diagnosed the probably problems based on my descriptions of the symptoms, verified the diagnosis, and replaced the parts quickly and professionally. They verified that system was working properly after repairs. I thought the price was a bit steep, but have no basis for comparison. But their professionalism was top drawer.

Description of Work: The technicians were prompt and installed a new furnace and A/C for our home. They were very professional and explained the install process. It was a job well done.

Description of Work: Bill was fantastic, as was Sheryl at the office. I called when my AC unit was making a squeaking noise during the 100 degree heat last week. I called them and they said they had gotten 200 calls over the weekend and could not come out for a few weeks. However I got a call from them several days later, and they came and serviced the unit. Didn't require much except for some tightening of parts and some maintenance. I will use no other HVAC company.

Description of Work: Installed a new air conditioner and furnace system. The owner Bill came and sold us on the type and cost of equipment. Installation day came and |two very professional men came removed the old system and installed the new. It took several hours and they did a great job.

Description of Work: Our indoor fan on our central A/C was not working. Bill came out and determined it was the fan motor capacitor and replaced it. He also checked our condensing unit to see if it had the correct refrigerant charge and he also washed the condenser fins. Very happy with Bill and Cool Air Technologies.

Description of Work: A/C filters were all plugged up. Service was to clean out all the filters and replace them. Very fast efficient fix. $100 was an okay price, in the middle of a heat wave. Seemed a trifle high for being here such a sort time. But, on the other hand the fee here needs to compensate for the time and loss of opportunity to be elsewhere. Overall very pleased.

After agreeing on a date, they showed up as promised and did the work, as stipulated in the contract. | |The crew (Larry and Richard) are good guys, very professional and did great clean-up job after they completed the work. | |This kind of work is no cheap, but it needed to be done with the hot summer whether coming.

Description of Work: Our AC went out (again) so we asked Cool Air Technologies to come and take a look at it. I gave them a B in responsiveness just because we waited a week for them to come out (because this was when it got hot in So Cal and everyone suddenly needed their AC fixed). They're always really friendly and very knowledgeable. Gave them a B on price as well since they ended up replacing the thermostat and $150 seemed a little high. Overall though, would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: When I called they told me that they would not do what they advertised, recharge an ac unit and that they were not taking any new clients. They were extremely rude and when I asked if they knew of anyone that I could call that might be able to help they told me to look online.

Description of Work: I needed a complete replacement of the natural gas forced air furnace in my house in Huntington Beach. As part of the work, I also updgraded and added central airconditioning. I looked at three vendors from Angies List, and selected Cool Air Technologies. Their written quote was fairly well detailed, and they did the job from beginning to end. I am familiar with construction and home systems, and I feel they did a good job. They pulled the permit, they took out the old furnace, they installed the new furnace and AC compressor, and did the entire job properly. They cleaned up the job and left the area looking clean and neat. We had the city come by, inspect the work and close the permit, and it was done without any issues or problems. I wish the written quote was more detailed, but I am very particular about this - I like my quotes very clear and detailed so that both the contractor and I understand exactly what they will do. They did charge me additional to have them pull the permit, etc, which I did not like, and I thought the fee to do so was not reasonable. I think a quality contractor should always do the permit, and not have an option to perform unpermitted work. It's something that separates the fly-by-night guys from the quality pros. I'm a big believer in paying a bitt more to get the job done right, so while they were not the cheapest, they were reasonably priced and I am happy with the work.

Description of Work: Cool Air Technologies came out to change our old thermostats when one of them stopped working. I called in the morning and left a message that we needed a service ASAP since we could not heat the bedrooms. CAT returned our call promptly and came out within 2-3 hours. They were very reasonable and did a great job. I would highly recommend them and will use them again in the future. They definitely rate an "A+".

Description of Work: The coil on our A/C broke, we had houseguests and a heatwave...they came very quickly...were easy to have in my home. They did the job and cleaned up afterwards.

Description of Work: Joints were not connected tightly on the furnace vents to the roof. Condensation water had leaked out and soaked the floor upon which the furnace sat. Despite the restricted working area technician was able to tighten and seal the joints.

Description of Work: Heater wasn't working and all that was needed was to hit the safety button but Bill gave a thorough explanaiton and inspection of the heater while here. He even straightened out the panel that my husband had bent in frustration.

Description of Work: Bill came out to inspect the HVAC system for our rental property. He was prompt, courteous and he provided a thorough assesment of our system. It gave us peace of mind to know there are no issues.
