Description of Work: Came for a Heating/Air Conditioning estimate. Suggested a new thermostat could solve the problem along with some "sound proofing" board in the fresh air heater intake box, ($10.00) and DYI, about 2 hours of my time. Excellent solutions for me, and much cheaper than a new furnace. Our "old" one now works better and mor quietly than ever. An honest appraisal, effective solution and saved a bunch!

Description of Work: The A/C compressor wasn't turning on.Bill came to check it out but it ran fine for him. He performed a check and service then left. However, shortly after he left it quit working again. I called him and he returned within an about an hour. He found out that there was a blockage in the drain and fixed it. Bill was very prompt, helpful, and courteous and apologized for having to return.

Description of Work: I purchased a deal from Cool Air because my house was not getting cold. Bill called and let me know when he would be coming and showed up as expected. He inspected the air conditioning and we found that there was a leak in part of the outdoor unit that was preventing the air from working properly and cooling the house. We talked about several repair options and Bill helped me find one that worked for me as I was not prepared to replace the whole unit. Larry came out a few days later and did the repairs perfectly. Bill and Larry had some suggestions on how the air could work more efficiently but neither one of them was pushy on having that additional work done. I would definitely call them, again!

Description of Work: Bill was very honest. My central heat igniter was not operating properly. It was coming on. He checked the thermostat first which I was impressed with since that is the most logical first step and many times the cheapest solution. Wasn't the thermostat. Larry and Bill then did some quick diagnostics on the furnace and found a loose wire on the igniter. They tighten that up and ran the heater and cooling and it all worked. Fantastic!!! So happy with these guys!

Description of Work: A/C was not working -- lacked cooling capacity. They came the day after we called and gave me a reasonable estimate. Within a week, the outside condenser was replaced with a properly sized unit and now the A/C unit works great! Thanks Cool Air!
