We are a small Mom and Pop company that services all of Orange County. We provide service on all makes and models. And we offer free no-pressure bids on new equipment. We accept AMEX MC, VISA and offer up to 2 Year Financing on new equipment as well. A little over 14 years ago, a few customers put us on Angie's List. And ever since we've been honored to have consecutively receive the Super Service Award (2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019. It's an honor that is only bestowed upon 2% of Angie's List contractors. It is determined by Price, Customer Service, Quality, and Professionalism. Bill was friendly, prompt and professional. Unlike most service technicians, he didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. He gave me good advice and suggested that although our furnace was old and would eventually require a replacement, he suggested running it until the motor dies and then calling him to replace it. He left me with some reasonable estimations of the costs involved. I will be calling Bill when we are ready to replace our furnace.

Cool Air was flexible and provided an economic solution that fit our needs exactly. Installation was completed as promised the day after we placed the order. The two workmen were prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, thorough and completely competent. Cool Air's price was competitive, included installation, and a five-year/parts, one-year/labor warranty. We are very satisfied.
Description of Work: We needed to replace our 30 year-old AC condenser, which had worn out. Cool Air owner Bill Mc Intosh came within two days of our call. He evaluated our entire heating/AC system, by examining each component, including the condenser, coil, furnace, blower, thermostat, air return and each register throughout the house. Since the blower and coil were replaced 8 years ago, we elected to not replace them at this time; nor to replace the furnace which is operating fine. Air Cool replaced the 4-ton condenser with a similar new unit, compatible with the rest of the system. They also installed a programmable thermostat.

I highly recommend Bill. Our A/C malfunctioned at the end of a very hot day and Bill saw us the next day. He called to say he was running late. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem; showed us how to get maximum use of our system. We will definitely sign up for his twice yearly maintenance program.
Description of Work: Air conditioning capacitor was replaced and tested; the unit was low on charge and was recharged and tested; filters replaced; freon added; air vents adjusted in all rooms in the house.

VERY GOOD, VERY PROFESSIONAL AND RESPONSIVE. HE WAS SUPPOSED TO COME BACK AND CHECK A FEW TIMES, AND WE HAD DIFFICULTY WITH OUR SCHEDULES. I DIDN'T LIKE THE FIRST THERMOSTAT SO THEY REPLACED IT FOR FREE.

I HAD A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE. I RECOMMENDED THEM TO SOMEONE ELSE. MY FURNACE WENT OUT ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT. THANKSGIVING WAS ON THURSDAY AND THEY CAME OUT ON FRIDAY TO GIVE ME AN ESTIMATE, WHICH WAS FREE. THERE WAS NO OBLIGATION. THEN THEY CAME BACK ON SATURDAY MORNING AND INSTALLED IT.
