They were very professional. They did only what was needed, the price was good. It was very easy to get an appointment. I would recommend them to others.

He was very straight forward and did exactly what he said he would do. He is very moderately priced. He had a great crew. He was outstanding in professionalism and cleaning up his mess.

Bill is the owner of the company which surprised and pleased us. He is an excellent worker, very knowledgeable, excellent communicator, and enthusiastic about his work and helping the customer understand what he is doing and what recommendations he has to improve the A/C function. He detected a air delivery line problem (to the master bedroom) that should be fixed in order to maximize air delivery to that room. We will have him return this fall to do that work, when the attic is much cooler for the workers. The work he did is what I call good, old fashioned work & service at a fair and reasonable price. He is now on out list of excellent service people for future calls.

Bill, the owner, first interviewed me to get a history of the problems. He then explained the cost and what was included. As he did each of the tests and inspections he explained what he was looking for. As it turns out, the previous service company may have actually fixed the problem, however, they where still trying to sell me a new unit and I didn't believe that a new unit was needed. Bill convinced me that a new unit was not needed and in fact my unit was still performing at specification. He gave instruction on how to monitor the temperature differential using a plain old meat thermometer so I could tell when it was not working correctly and avoid an unnecessary call out. He also explained that a new unit would save electricity cost, however, he advised against it because the pay out time would exceed the length of time that I expected to own this house. His honesty was most refreshing. Although my unit is not new and highly efficient, it was working OK.

Bill & Trish were great. Bill came out the same day I called and thoroughly explained everything. Trish moved up my appointment to make sure my furnace was installed asap. (it was during a cold snap & I have 14 month old twins). Larry & Richard the installing technicians were punctual, courteous and very pleasant. They explained everything, kept me up on what was happening and even worked around my twins nap time (as much as possible). Bill called for follow up and promptly returned my call a few weeks later when I had a question. Cool Air Technologies is the best. I can't say enough.

Entire process estimation, scheduling and installation was excellent. All of my questions were addressed honestly and directly. Time from accepting bid to installation was less then 1 week. Installation crew was professional, friendly and explained completely features, operation and maintenance. Upgraded filter was included at no additional charge. Installers also fixed my sagging fence gate! They also installed 2 systems for a co-worker of mine at rental properties and recommendation/experience was excellent also. I have and will continue to recommend to families and friends.

All work was performed as promised. Installation was scheduled quickly and completed on the days scheduled. I would use this company again.

The workers were very neat. They put down tarps all the way from my front door to the upstairs heater as to not track in any dirt. They were fast and efficient. They solved a problem that I had with one of my vents for no extra charge. The work was done as promised and there were no extras or surprises.

Went great! Trish (Bill's wife) was able to schedule the appointment within 1 week. Bill and his associate arrived on schedule. Did all the work rapidly. Cleaned up so well that you couldn't tell they'd been here. The only issue is that I misunderstood the price before they came - I feel I got very good quality, but I wish I had understood better in advance that because I had (2) A/C units, I also had two heating units! (The price was per unit and I was expecting to pay for 3, not 4).

Excellent. Bill, the company owner, came out and performed the tuneup. Took about 30-40 minutes and then he gave me a complete report. Even though I have a old unit (original equipment installed with the house 20 years ago), Mike indicate it was working well and there was no need for any further work at this time. He gave me a rough estimate of how much it would cost to replace when it did break down, and suggested that repair of the unit would not be economically reasonable once the unit does fail. Bill is a very pleasant guy who knows his business and is very up front and honest. I was particularly impressed that he just "tells it how it is" and does not try to create a problem where there isn't one. Often folks try to up sell or create a need for replacement/upgrade, etc. As far as I can tell, Bill gives a very honest assessment, which probably explains why he has a lot of repeat business.

Our air conditioning went down and we called several companies on Angie's list to provide us with quotes to replace the old system. Within 24 hours the principal of Cool Air was at our home and provided us with a quote. While not the cheapest, we were impressed with the explanations and estimated time to get the project completed. Within the week we had the entire project completed and operating as promised. The installers were very professional. It is nearly 2 months since the work was completed and we are very happy.

My AC started leaking from upstairs with the fan is located. It was draining int my kitchen through a light. My AC didn't seem to be cooling very well. I called Cool Air Technologies and, even though they were heavily booked, they made the time to come. He cut the pipe from the line and found it was indeed plugged. So he blew it out with nitrogen. He then check my AC and added the freon. All in about 30 minutes. He was very informative and gave details on each task. I was very pleased with their service and will use them again. He also provided a bid on a new HVAC system, but said I wasn't in need now but may be in a year or so.

I had no trouble scheduling an appointment. Bill called about a half hour before arriving to confirm. He inspected the system, repaired a duct that was recycling hot air in the upper level system. That seems to have improved the cooling for that zone which had been weak. He advised me that the condenser was somewhat underpowered for the size of the zone, but also advised that we keep it until it needed to be replaced. He changed a thermostat and gave me many tips on how to care for the equipment. Bill was very professional and courteous.

Set up appointment with Trish, who's very nice. Bill came out to give quote. Bill is very professional, knowledgeable, but not pushy at all. Offered best equipment for the lowest bid. Installers were very polite, quiet, clean and very efficient. They were completely done within 4 hours. Made sure that my wife and I know how to maintain the furnace and program the installation. Financing through Cool Air was a breeze (no pun intended).

Bill arrived when expected and found the problem to be a fried electrical wire leading to the a/c condenser box. Was very apologetic that he could not restore cool air to my house. Said he would come back if necessary. I will definitely call Cool Air again if needed.

We chose, for now, to do the minimum amount of work to get through the summer and we are very pleased with the results. Bill found a couple of leaking valves, repaired and recharged both systems all for a very reasonable price. I asked for a quote to replace both systems and was given a rough estimate which was very competitive. We will definitely be giving Bill and Cool-Air Technologies the first call when it comes time to replace both systems in a couple of months.

You be the judge. What was requested? Check freon & check if ductwork ok. What was promised? $75 per hour for visit; no work done unless you're told how much and it's approved. What happened? 2 guys arrived instead of one. Wife at home was told it would cost "a few hundred $" for freon, duct inspection and chewed wire repair. No estimate in writing, no call to me at office for approval. I talked to owner who did repair, AFTER it was done. Wife told me estimate was "a couple hundred $", he said he told her "a few hundred $". I said why were two people needed to do simple job? He said it would have taken twice as long for two people. I said you were only here one hour and $200 to do a simple wire repair is way too high, with no material costs. He said I don't charge by hour. I charged for the knowledge to do it. I said your hourly rate of $75 includes your knowledge. He said it is what it is.

Our downstairs AC unit had not worked since we moved in 2 1/2 years prior. It is August and I am 8 months pregnant and had to get it fixed. Bill (owner) came the day after I called. The solution was simple: The AC breaker was just switched to off. I appreciated his honesty about that. He checked to make sure everything was working well and gave tips regarding AC and duct maintenance. He also added Freon. Everything is running great and A LOT cheaper and easier fix than I thought it would be.

Although Angie's List warned us that Cool Air did not service our location, I contacted them anyway, since we were pretty close to them by So Cal standards. Trish agreed to send Bill over to give us a free estimate. He called first, came on time, answered questions patiently, and made excellent suggestions, including the idea of moving the outdoor unit further back on our side yard. He struck us as honest and established rapport-setting off none of our BS detectors. We called back on Monday to accept the bid and made an appointment for Thursday. On Tuesday they called and said they could install on Wednesday, which their crew did, in a courteous and professional manner. They were on time, worked 6 hours straight through lunch, checked their work carefully, cleaned up, and explained everything to me. This whole process took 6 days, including a weekend, in mid summer in So Cal.

Bill is the owner and did a great job. We set up appointment for between 12-4 p.m. He called about 3:00 p.m. or so and said he was running late but would be here. A second call to say he was on his way. He didn't rush through my job, even though for a Friday, at 5:00 p.m. or so when he finished, he had several more sales calls to make! He "trained" me to look for things as he did his air conditioning checks and said he wanted me to know these things to look out for potential issues and quick ways to assess the problem in the future.

Emailed Cool Air from Angie's List on Saturday. Cool Air called (first business day) Monday to schedule appointment. They were able to come out on Wednesday. Received a call 45 minutes prior to arrival giving me a heads up that they were on their way. Once they arrived, they adjusted my vents, checked my compressor, measured freon level and topped it off. Also were very informative as to our ability to maximize our air conditioners output as well as various options, alternatives to dealing with our air conditioner. Would happily recommend them, friendly, courteous, professional and extremely knowledgeable.

We were well pleased with all aspects of this process. I joined Angie's List on a Thursday and immediately searched for a vendor using Angie's resources. High on the list was Cool-Air Technologies with high grades in all categories. I emailed them that afternoon. Within one hour Trish called me to set up an appointment for Bill to visit to our home to give us a bid for the work. We agreed on a time for the following Monday. Bill was on time, carefully reviewed our current system and recommended replacement equipment. He did not pressure us to buy stuff we didn't need, and answered all our questions with factual information. His estimate was thorough and fair. On Tuesday, the next day, his crew installed the equipment. Larry and his co-worker arrived on time to do the work. Once done, they completed all the clean-up. Larry explained to us how the system works. Within six days of our contact, everything was completed. Trish called the next day to assure we were satisfied with the work.

Mike said the furnace vents needed taping down, 20% of the heat was escaping. He also noticed there was no filter. I paid $10 extra for the taping, and felt Mike was professional and fair with me. He answered my questions and was a square shooter at a reasonable price. What more could I ask? I gave a "B" on responsiveness because I called on Wednesday and the first appt. available was Monday. That could be tough if your house is cold. Overall, I say Bravo!
