Cool Air was easy to deal with, very personable on the phone. Air conditioner was not working and they were able to send Bill out quickly to repair it. He arrived on time and identified the problem and fixed it, without trying to sell us a new airconditioner. It was been about 3 weeks and everything is still working great. I will definitely call them again!di

We had Cool Air Tech. evaluate our old heater in a two story house, and got a bid for a new heater (with a future A/C option). The owner is very nice and professional, and seemed reliable. We found him on Angie's List and were impressed by how many reviews he has had. However, after we got a couple more bids and did research into heating systems, we found that Cool Air Tech was not as up to date as some other companies. He did not do a heat load calculation, which would have shown the 4 ton heater recommended for us was oversized. The Tempster unit he recommended is not highly rated. He is also not NATE certified or an ACCA member, which are also higher qualifications. These qualifications are not so common, but we found a couple local companies with this training who were able to appropriately size our heater, they worked with highly rated HVAC systems, and could do zone controls for our house. This will make our home MUCH more comfortable throughout the year. I think Cool Air Tech is a good company, but look further if you want a higher end system and more comfort control.

Next Bill measured the temperature differential between what was going into the unit (72) and what was coming out (52). He explained that this was a good differential and provided evidence that my unit was in good working condition. All in All, this was money worth Spent ... he didn't try to sell me something I didn't need, he showed me how to maintain my unit, and his prices were very fair. One of the best contractor experiences I have ever had.

Called at 2:00 p.m. on Friday for service to my AC - left a message and was called back within 20 minutes. Scehdued for service between 4:00 and 6:00 pm on the same day! Tech arrived promptly at 4:00 p.m. - diagnosed and fixed my AC after discussing with me the options and costs. When he finised the repairs, he cleaned (hosed) off the outside unit, checked air flow in all my rooms, checked the temperature differential (between incomming and outgoing air), and adjusted a couple of vents to improve air flow. Very professional. Would (and will) definately use them again.

Arrived on time, went right to work. Found the problem and advised me how to fix it. (Nothing wrong with A/C fault in the wiring.)

First time to have the HVAC system checked on the home we just bought. Checked, cleaned, maintained the units, gave tips on long term re: life expectancy and efficiency. Very knowledgeable, friendly, thorough... couldn't ask for more.

Bill showed up on time after a phone call alerting me he was on his way. Bill was personable and knowledgeable. He examined our system stem to stern. As he worked he pointed out features and possible problems in our unit. He educated me on the workings and told me things to look for and ways to save money. I come away from his visit much better able to perform simple maintenance on the compressor and inside equipment. All electrical components were working and Bill checked the input and output temps against standards. After his cleaning,adjusting and checking, the unit seemed to be cooling much better.

I would recommend him. He was really good. I would use his services again in the future.

I had been in my house only a couple of years but the heater did not seem to be working right despite home inspection (my general opinion of these are they are worthless) and previous HVAC guy saying it was fine. I saw Cool Air Tech on Angie's list, call them and the same day Bill came out to do inspection and evaluation of A/C and heater. Everything checked out. Bill spend a lot of time answering all my questions and explaining what he was looking for and its implications. He even gave me some tips for doing some things myself to contain costs. First visit was $175. Cannot compare to others but the profession manner, overall experience, and knowledge were worth it. Still was having issues with furnace blower continuously running. Contacted Bill the following week and described problem in better detail than before and he determine it was one of two things: blower shut off switch or control board. He recommended starting with the cheaper of the two. He ordered the part and once received installed it in timely manner. Visit 2 was $150 for parts and labor. Heater still acting up and Bill recommended changing out control board. Part was ordered and install appointment was set up. They installed the control board and tested connections. Found some issues in communications with thermostat, so they troubleshooted that and fix everything. Visit 3 was $435 for parts and labor minus the $150 from Visit 2 (since that was not the problem) so paid $285. Overall, I was thoroughly happy with Bill and Cool Air Technologies in all the jobs they provided for me. Definitely would use them again. I gave a "B" for price since I had no comparison to evaluate though I thought the price was fair.

We noticed that the A/C unit was leaking water into the garage when we used the A/C a lot. We called Cool Air Technologies and they sent someone to investigate. He found several problems with the unit. We could either replace just certain parts or replace the entire thing, which would last longer and be more efficient. So we decided to replace the entire unit and they gave us a good price on it. They returned in a few days and did the work promptly and without any problems. Later that week, the owner came and explained what was done and even gave us pointers on how to save on our energy expenses. We will definitely use them again.

He arrived on time with a telephone call to alert me of his imminent arrival. Showed him locations of the pieces of the units and he went to work on tightening the connections, then went to the attic to look at the heating/air conditioning unit. Performed routine maintenance the checked the exterior units.

My furnace quit a few days before the long Thanksgiving weekend. Thankfully it turned out to be pretty nice weather! I got quotes from a couple of places; the guys at the entrance to Costco Tustin II, and I had coincidentally received a "special offer" in the mail from Home Depot the weekend before. Both of them came to the house and gave me quotes of $5000 and up. It was only then that I woke up to the fact that I should be checking on Angie's List. I went through a few and settled for trying Cool Air Technologies first. Although it was now the Friday after Thanksgiving, I decided to call. I left a message and within 30 minutes had a call back from the wife of this husband and wife owned business, saying they were out of town for the holidays, but that they'd have someone call me to set up an appointment. I then had a call later that day and scheduled an appointment for the Monday. The appointment time was left open since I was able to work from home and that would allow Bob (I think the owner's name is Bob; I'm late writing this review and can't recall for sure now) to catch up on what had come in over the weekend. After Bob arrived and went through the issue, he gave me a quote of $3200! Since he was so highly rated at Angie's List as well, why go any further, so we signed on the dotted line.Bob's installers were able to come the next day! Woohoo! Larry and Richard I think. The appointment time was for 8am and they were there at the door right on time. During the installation they encountered a couple of issues which they doggedly worked at resolving. They cut absolutely no corners. They were still finishing up after 12pm and I asked if this was going to make them late for their next appointment, to which Larry said they didn't have another appointment, that they only ever do one a day because you can never be sure how many issues you might run in to and they don't want to cut any corners to hurry up the job, nor would they want to be late for any subsequent installations.They did an excellent job of the installation and left everything clean and tidy. And the new furnace has been keeping me nice and warm now for 2 months. I recommend these guys 100%.

They were very responsive. They were quick to come out and evaluate our central air unit. They explained everything that they were doing. I will use them again in the future.

We had to reschedule the install because they discovered a dent in the furnace at the shop, and promptly ordered a new one. Besides that everything went fine. We will see how the equipment performs. The crew and owner were very professional and helpful. Nice guys!

From my initial call to Cool Air Technologies to the completed service call , I have seldom had a more professional team resolve a problem in my home. Efficient in their evaluation , courteous to the client and swift in the resolution of the particular problem perfectly describes this company . I would not hesitate to call this company for my future heating concerns . I will certainly recommend Cool Air Technologies to all my friends.

The thing that we liked the most about them was every recommendation they made for the repair, they gave us the individual cost. They broke it down. They were knowledgeable. They were personable. They are trustworthy. They were not trying to sell a bunch of things that we didn’t need. We would use them again in the future.

You couldn't make a better choice! The initial response was prompt and efficient. Bill the owner came to my house and determined what he would recommend. He was friendly and plain spoken like in the video. His quote was detailed and understandable. I chose his company over several others. The installation was done with top notch workmanship and attention to detail. Care was was taken to assure everything was spotless when they left. Watch the video... It doesn't exggagerate! The recommended equipment was appropriate, not oversized to a "make a buck". Larry the installer has been doing installs for this company for over 13 years and clearly knows what he is doing. First, we would like to apologize for being late on this report; sometimes life gets in the way of best intentions. That being said, we highly recommend Cool Air Technologies. Bill and his team spent two days with us. The work was fast , clean, and courteous with a high level of attention to detail. The price quoted was the price we paid. They made sure we were thoroughly familiar with the system operations before leaving. The work they performed was so good that the city inspector commented that if all HVAC installers paid this much attention to detail, his job would be much easier. We have since had them back out for a regular maintenance system check and received the same level of excellent service. To Bill, Trish, and the Cool Air crew a very big THANK YOU!
