Everyone was professional and polite, and especially personable. The service was prompt, Bill came by within an hour of our initial call as he was in the area. We were up and running immediately as he replaced the old fuse and gave us the estimated time length of the life of the unit. We had a replacement unit installed within one week. With our new unit we have seen a drastic reduction in our utility bills. We also heard a funny "rustling" sound for about two weeks and we called Bill. He came out, went in the attic and found a piece of packing material that was fluttering in the vent. He also did this "free of charge". We are nothing but ecstatic with this company and will use them again.

Cool Air came out promptly during a heat wave and got the AC unit back to blowing cool air quickly. After Bill left I discovered a separate problem which I had not mentioned, and he returned within a few hours of his original call. Great service!

Our condo's heat pump stopped working (only blowing air, but w/o any cooling/hearing). We called Cool Air to come over to check. Trish is very friendly. She asked about the symptoms, and helped arrange an appointment in the same day! Bill and his technician came promptly. They quickly found out where the problem is (the outdoor condenser) , and suggested we replace it since it is almost 25 years old. However, their quote is not very competitive. Later we had a better deal with another contractor.

Very professional & common sense approaches; explained everything; will definitely use again

Cool Air Tech was great. They discovered the prior air conditioning unit was defective and gave me information on how to proceed. They were very professional and cleaned up after each step. I can't say enough about them!

The two technicans from Cool Air arrived at 8:00 am as promised and immediately started removing the old equipment and were very careful to protect everthing in the house (carpet, paint etc.). They worked almost straight through until everthing was installed and completely tested. They were very courteous and clearly explained how to operate the entire system including the new thermostat. Everthing was cleaned up and all the old parts removed before 3:00 pm that day. I was very pleased with the professionalism and quality of workmanship displayed. I would highly recommend this company.

When our A/C went out during a week of 90-degree weather, the owner of this company changed his personal plans to come fix our problem right away. (Talk about super customer service right from the get go!!) He arrived quickly, was very professional, thorough and trustworthy. He even offered tips on how we could prolong use of our current old unit and how to increase cool air flow. Best part, his services were very reasonable. We are keeping Cool Air Technologies' number handy for the future and would definitely recommend them to our friends/neighbors.

Our existing furnace and air condition system was 26 years and failed during one of the warmest weeks of the year. I called and Bill came out to evaluate the problem the following day. The system needed to be replaced and Bill gave us a very competitive bid. The installation was scheduled for two days later. As the installation is as important as the equipment, I checked on the install at several stages of the installation process and I was very impressed. Both the equipment (Rheem and Tempstar) and the installation exceeded my expectations. Cool Air's quote was several hundred dollars less then other quotes. From my first call to the completion of the project everything was handled professionally, on time and as promised. I highly recommend Cool Air Technologies.

Cool Air Tech already has a lot of great reviews. Bill & Trish were wonderful with the initial contact and job estimate information but I wanted to share my experiences with the installation portion of the process. Larry & Richard, the Cool Air Techs, arrived at my home within 5 minutes of the appointment time. I was curious about the installation as this is the first time I have had this work performed and asked if it was ok to "shadow" them. They were very friendly and allowed me to be a part of the entire process. Larry & RIchard explained each & every step throughout the entire procedure, as well as sharing with me some very useful tips about the AC/Heating units. During my pre-purchase research I read that most of the AC/Heating units are manufactured similarly, but what really makes the difference in the quality of the units performance is the installation. I have to say that this was one of the most through, meticulous, and professional installations of any product I have ever experienced. I will only use Cool Air Tech for all my future AC/Heating needs. My thanks to Larry & Richard for an amazing job!

The entire job went very well the work was done ahead of schedule and completed in one day. The workers did the installation while I was at work and when I returned home my house was in perfect shape the whole area where they worked was as clean as it was before they started.

PROS - prompt scheduling, courteous staff - called to keep me informed of anticipated arrival - arrived as promised - courteous, knowledgeable technicians - service was quick, all my concerns were addressed, questions answered - helped me order correct replacement filters and explained in detail how to install when rec'd - quoted the price before proceeding with work - successfully adjusted the airflow to ALL rooms, which previous company had never been able to do CONS - hmmmmm, sorry...can't think of any

I emailed for initial contact on a Saturday and was fully expecting not to hear anything until Monday... Wasn't I surprised when I got a call an hour later? Incredibibly responsive and accommodating ; we set up an inspection and estimate appointment in a few days. Bill-the owner came himself. He was thorough in telling me what I needed and more importantly what I didn't. The estimate was $3000 less than the closest estimate I had from all the "majors"... I signed the contract and installation was scheduled the following week. The two guys showed up right on time and I immediately knew they were good people when even the dog liked them. (she doesn't like practically anybody). They got right to it and were amazingly attentive to protecting floors and walls, removing debris, and if they moved something, they moved it back with the utmost care. They were here a day and a half and I am thrilled with the results. I haven't gotten my first electric bill yet, but monitoring the kw usage on sce.com, it's going to be saving me money too over the fans and room air conditioners I had been using. Wish I had done it sooner.

Bill and Larry arrived promptly (called first to reconfirm appointment) and were professional and knowledgeable. My air conditioner is very old and the condenser has been leaking water into the garage and behind the furnace every time I've used the air conditioner lately. They diagnosed the problem quickly after opening access to condenser pan, cleaned out a coupld of the pipes leading from the condenser pan, and hooked everything up again. The drainage from the condenser is working properly now, however since my furnace and air cond are 30 yrs old, Bill gave me a reasonable estimate for replacing both units.

They were dead on time. Started at 8:00, done at 1:30. Everything went great, from the estimate though clean up. Everyone we had at the house was pleasant, helpful, hardworking and efficient. The new A/C is quieter and works much better than the old one. The registers are great and we didn't think to ask for those. I highly recommend CAT.

Bill, the owner, came out to give an estimate on a replacement A/C unit. He was courteous and professional. Very easy to deal with. He was the 4th estimate I had gotten on a replacement unit and although one was lower, I chose to go with Cool Air Technologies because of the high reviews on Angie's List. I was glad I did. Larry and Richard came on time and quickly did their work. They were challenged with getting the unit to the top of the roof but they did so smoothly. Within a couple of hours they had performed the work and had the A/C blasting cold air. I even went on the roof to see the work they did and Larry explained that he had reinforced some of the lines so that they are better protected. He replaced part of the copper tubing as well. Overall, the unit looked great. The old unit was probably the original and was visibly toast. Hopefully the new unit will work properly for years to come. It certainly helps with temps going into triple digits. Cool Air Technologies deserves their good reputation on Angie's List. Great job Bill, Larry and Richard!

Our air conditioning stopped blowing cold air during our recent hot spell. Since we have a family member who is ill, he came that day .They couldn't have been nicer!

During the warmest weeks of the summer we use sparingly our A/C, but discovered that only warm air was blowing through the vents. Through Angie's List I found Cool Air Technologies and liked what I read about them and that they rated so highly in every area. After leaving a message, Trish got back to me quickly, considering the demand on their company during our heat wave. She was very friendly and efficient and must be such an asset to this family run company. A service date was scheduled on the next working day and Bill called and arrived well before my scheduled time. He quickly addressed the problems, repaired them, made suggestions on getting the most life out of the A/C unit we have. He was professional, friendly, helpful and very quick finding and repairing the problem. I found the bill total very reasonable...he gave me a $20. coupon when writing up the bill. I will definitely use Cool Air Technologies and refer friends to this family company. We are now enjoying a cooler home and will be able to finally sleep comfortably tonight!

The service man was professional and deomonstrated to us throughout the process what needed to be done and how he planned to do remedy the situation. He was pleasant, professional and extremely knowledgeable. We will definitely use him for all of our future heating and air services. When I first called in to Cool Air Technologies I was greeted by a very friendly and helpful person on the other end. She treated me and my situation with genuine concern. I was trying to get an appointment set for Friday but, she said she had to check the schedule and would call me back in a few minutes. She absolutely kept her promise and called me back promptly with in a few minutes time frame. We were able to get a an appointment set for Saturday in the morning. The service specialist was polite and even called ahead to say he would be on time and would be at our house in about 20 minutes. He promptly arrived just a couple of minutes before the 20 minute mark. Again he was the nicest person I could have hoped to invite into my house. He was professional, informative in his field and yet easy to talk to. He was able to accurately trouble shoot my A/C problem with in about 15 minutes. He even went the extra mile after the service was complete to adjust my vents in the house and give a little insight as to the logic behind why vent "X" should be open at this level and why vent "Y" should be at this level. Amazing, not only was he polite and knowledgeable he took the time to logically explain what was going on and gave pointers for future operation. The service from Cool Air Tech. was amazing and the price was very reasonable and broken down for me as well. He asked where I had heard of him, which I said "Angie's List" and he threw in the online coupon to boot. Really an outstanding company and people. I have already recommended them to family who just a few days ago had their A/C go out. If you want someone to trust for your A/C needs go with Cool Air Technologies. I'm really glad I did.

This company is very professional. They returned my call promptly to schedule an appointment that was convenient for my tenant. On the day of the appointment, they phoned me and my tenant to let us know they were on their way. Once on sight, the owner called to diagnose the problem and give me the price for repairs. I was shocked at how reasonable their pricing was for an emergency call. I have been ripped off in the past by companies, but not the case with Cool Air Technologies. The pricing was great and the work was done quickly and professionally. I will definitely use them again and I highly reccommend them. Great experience.

The job went perfectly. The owner, Bill, arrived sooner than expected. He immediately determined the cause of the problem, provided a reasonable estimate for repairs, and then proceeded to fix the problem without delay. He also provided useful tips for future system maintenance, including regular cleaning of the A/C filter (which he demonstrated on our badly clogged filter). The air conditioner now functions better than expected for a 45-year-old system. As an added bonus, we saved $20.00 by using the coupon that this company had posted on Angie's List.

The owner is Mike, and his wife Trish is the contact person. I love them, they are awesome. They are on time, they know what the problem is right away, and I call them every time I have an issue.

A friendly woman answered the phone and said she would call Bill and try to get him out here today. She called me back and said he was 30 mins. away. Bill arrived on time and was professional and friendly. He went through the system and found out it was the thermostat. He replaced the thermostat and it works like a charm. My husband is a residential developer so guess whose house gets fixed last ? My husband was very impressed with Bill and his company. We will definitely use him again. As a matter of fact, my husband says he will use him on our rental properties.
