Michael gave us a reasonable estimate for whole house fumigation. It was about half the cost of the spot treatment estimate we received from a no tenting company. I really wanted to avoid having to move out with my wife and with 3 cats. I also was concerned about my solar panels, satellite dish and my alumawood patio cover. 2 out of 3 were fine. The patio cover sustained some damage, but Michael made good and covered the cost to repair/replace. I knew going in there was a risk of the tubes at the end of the cover being damaged when the tarps were removed but took my chances. As you accept full responsibility of the cost of any damage when you sign the contract it is up to the contractor to make good. Michael didn't hesitate or question the estimated amount. He owned up to it being his responsibility and covered the cost. All termites are dead, my patio cover issue resolved and we are happy. The spot companies are a waste of money as far as I'm concerned since they only kill where termites are found in their limited inspection and the little buggers continue to do damage in untreated areas. They do give you a 2 year warranty that covers addition treatments if YOU discover more termite activity but I don't want to be a termite hunter for the next two years. I know that termites will be back at some point as they continually swarm in our coastal area but I know at this point they are ALL gone.

I don't normally write reviews but because Michael Ballard is so awesome, I wanted to give credit where credit is due. He just finished replacing our termite / dry rot wood yesterday. He worked efficiently and hard for 4 long days, cleaning up after each day. He and Jason put up some heavy beams of wood that they primed and treated. Michael was very easy to talk to, honest, trustworthy and patient. At the end of the job, he showed me his work and he really does incredible work! I couldn't even see where he joined the 26' of wood that he replaced. He went above and beyond, fixing some other problem he hadn't expected and sealing up areas that were exposed. Jason did some stucco patchwork and didn't charge me extra for it. They also took my trash cans in! I highly recommend Michael Ballard!
