I AM VERY HAPPY WITH my experience with B & J Tree Service. Their price was competative. Their customer relation and work performance was excellent. I called their office in the afternoon for an estimate. The next morning I was given a estimate and the whole job was completed by the end of the day. Everything went smoothly. The estimator was the supervisor and he is also an certified aborist. He is very knowledgable about trees and proper way of pruning. The shape of the olive tree and melaleuca trees came out beautiful. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

I called B & J Tree Service to get an estimate and the lady on the phone was very courteous and professional. She told me someone could come out that afternoon. Bobby was at my door an hr. later and gave a quick and VERY reasonable estimate. I had called to have three stumps removed so that we could plant something else in the area but decided to also get an estimate on the trimming of Eucalyptus for a future date (didn't think we could afford both at the same time). Bobby looked at the job and noticed that we also had a dead tree and an old root in the yard that needed to be removed. Asked if I also wanted these done and gave a great price for all (threw in the root removal for free). Price was $600 to trim and thin two HUGE Eucalyptus trees and $200 for the rest. Workers arrived the next day and did a great job. They were quick, did everything to my specifications and cleaned up afterwards. They even noticed a stump I had forgotten and removed it at no extra cost. The only thing that I think they might improve on is communication. When the tree trimmers left the forman told me that they were leaving and that the guy with the stump grinder would be there between 3:00 and 3:30 that day to finish the job. At 4:00 he hadn't showed so I called the office. The woman called him and was told he couldn't come out until the next morning. He did show up the next morning right on time. A call to let me know he wouldn't be there as scheduled would have been nice. It wasn't a problem for me but I feel I should mention it as it might be a problem for others.

They have set up 3 appointments with me, and don't show up or call me back.

Bobby came out gave me a price,(LOVE THE PRICE) And with all the prices i got ( And i got 4 ) i found B & J Tree Service to be the best they came out cut down my tree cleaned up (excelent job on cleaning up ) then came out grinded out the stump and cleaned that up too, THANK YOU B&J TREE SERVICE,

I had just spent $2,500 installing 2 large Podocarpus gracillor trees for shade. I told the estimator I wanted a very light trimming and I told the supervisor twice, I wanted a light trimming. The supervisor blew me off and I tried to stop the trimmer, but he was wielding the chain saw like a weapon. The trees got butchered. I am just glad to be alive after these guys.

Never would suggest or recommend this company.

The B and J Tree Service team of workmen arrived right on time, and within two hours, the workmen had cut down three (3) large palm trees and a large Monterey Pine (which was immediately placed in their "chipper.") I watched most of the process from across the street, and it was amazing to see this whole operation take place. I really appreciated the owner being onsite to manage and oversee everything. The next day, a couple members of the team came back to grind the stumps, and they too were very nice, focused and within a short time had all the job done!

We were in escrow on a house and wanted to have an estimate for tree removal before closing so we could budget appropriately. We chose B&J Tree Service based on excellent reviews on Angie's List. We arranged for the estimate and Bobby arrived on time and walked the property with me, preparing the estimate. We scheduled the work and Bobby was very responsive to getting back to me to find an agreeable time, which for me was New Year's Eve morning! When I arrived at the property early in the morning, the crew was already there and ready to work. Miguel, the crew chief, was very thorough in checking out everything that needed to be done. Additionally, he was able to be flexible and take on extra work that was not included in the original estimate. He gave me a reasonable estimate on the spot and got the work done quickly. He brought a large crew so the work went very fast and everyone worked as a team. The crew was very careful to move lawn ornaments so as not to damage them, and returned them to the original location. There was some delicate work around a gazebo and the crew worked carefully so as not to damage the gazebo. I paid the bill and Miguel told me that the stump grinder would arrive later to take care of that task. A little later, as promised, the man with the stump grinder arrived. After surveying the situation, he advised me that using the grinder on some of the stumps would cause damage to my home and/or landscape irrigation system, so he suggested other options for dealing with those stumps. When he started to work, it was obvious that he was expert at handling this large, dangerous piece of machinery. He was able to maneuver it into some amazingly tight spots and took care of those stumps. For the ones he could not reach with the grinder, he utilized other tools to cut and dig out the stumps. Like the crew earlier in the morning, he worked diligently and finished the job quickly without damaging my property or other plants. Both crews did an excellent job cleaning up and their conduct was very professional. I recommend B&J Tree service without reservation.

Bob came out gave us an estimate originally for $400. That was a fair price, so we agreed, and I asked what day they could come out, he said morning or afternoon. I wanted morning, he said he would call me and let me know what day they could get out to us in the morning. Well my only complaint was Bob, never called back, in the meantime I got another estimate for $350, and agreeded for a date of Nov 8th, 8am. When I got back from bringing the kids to school, tree trimmers were trimming my trees, I thought the other guy had shown up one day early, no big deal. To my surprise, I saw B & J tree service on the truck, Bob honored my other bid of $350, and the guys did a wonderful job, the trees were trimmed, shredded and cleaned up in under 1 hour, simply amazing to watch a team so organized work so well. They cleaned up every driveway and every yard, spotless. No messing around. I will be using them again, I am glad they showed up and the do excellent work.

Went great from the quote to the finish work. Quote guy was very knowledgeable knew a ton about plants and tree's and knew how long it would take the guys to come out. Guys came out two days later and were in and out in less than an hour. Cutting to cleanup was perfect. They even took some extra branches that had fallen down earlier in the week.

We have used B&J Tree service a number of years and they have always done a good job at a reasonable price. Most years in the past, I have gotten other estimates and B&J is always one of the lowest. This year we called them and they were there that afternoon to give the estimate. It seemed good so we said OK and the trees were trimmed on schedule within two days – just before our first Santa Ana winds. They were very careful of our sprinklers and path lights and even removed and returned hanging plants that we had on the edge of the patio, near one of the trees being trimmed, so that they would not be damaged. Several days later, a limb that must have been partially cut was dangling. We called and they came out promptly and fully removed it.

I called B&J Tree service and Bobby called me back the same day. Bobby came out on Monday gave me a quote and I called back to schedule for Oct 5th. This was the easiest company I've ever dealt with. When I called to schedule they said they would be here at 9 and they were on time. I called the company back to inquire how long it would take to trim the tree and when they said about 1 hour I was a little confused. My previous tree trimmer took half a day with 3 guys doing the job. I am very happy with this company and will recommend them other people and use them in the future.

After asking for a quote--which I received the next day--we scheduled the job for one day later. The crew showed up exactly on time and got right to work and finished taking down a 30-foot palm tree in an hour, including clean-up. Very impressive work!

From the first contact till the job was done they were professional and very responsive.

The Crew arrived on time at 7:30 a.m. and immediately started to get to work. They where very mindful of our house and property. Not only did they do a thorough job with all the trees and shrubs, they also removed an old wood shed, fencing, and whatever else we requested to have cleared without hesitation. They only stopped for lunch break and we felt very comfortable leaving them alone to continue. At 3:45 they were finished and waiting for us to return. When we returned I was amazed at how great our property looked now and what a wonderful job these guys did. They all waited while we took a thorough walk around our property to make sure we were happy with the work and of course we were very happy with their service. My Husband paid the team leader and gave each of the men a tip. Any future work we need done we will be happy to contact this Company again.

He came right out and gave me a quote right away. He came out the very next day and did the job exactly as I wanted him too. I'm a happy customer.

They came on time, and carefully cut it down roping and lowering each branch carefully to the ground. They cleaned up afterwards.

This company is excellent. They came on time to give an estimate, brought, contract estimate sheets, which they completed the day of the visit, stating the estimated amount ( fixed price) and the agreed date & time they would arrive they were prompt, professional, well - trained, countertops.

However, he did not do what we asked him to do. He cut more than he was supposed to and not what he was supposed to. He did not clean up after himself, nor did he rearrange the furniture he moved. He never apologized, nor tried to make it right. He was very rude. All we asked was for him to level the yard.

They gave me an accurate quote. They arrived on time. They completed the job in a timely manner. They came out the next day. It was a very good experience.

They arrived a little late; however the service they provided was very good.

They did a great job. They were very professional, and courteous. They went a little beyond their call of duty. I really have nothing bad to say, and I would say they are very clean and very courteous. I think they are pretty good.

The crew showed up on time, checked over the job order, performed fast and cleaned up everything. The trees are all shaped and looking good!
