They need to be careful when they measure and they need to clean up the glue. Other than that, they did a pretty good job. The quality of their windows are better. They were very nice, courteous, knowledgeable and professional. I would recommend them.

It took some time to get the windows made and arrange a time to install. We were in no hurry so this was no issue. The installers came as promised. Two crews came--one to do the cut downs and the others to do the standard installation. We did have some issue with the alarm wiring on a couple of the windows. The installers did not find the wires that were previously installed and the alarm company had to run new wires to those locations. We do not fault the installers but this did cost us some additional money to the alarm company. I was surprised at the amount of work the cut downs involved. The crew also wrapped the existing window structure. Albert and Joe came back to do the clean up on the windows and re stucco the areas needed after the city inspection. They were quick, polite and efficient. Would be happy to recommend this company to others.

Excellent. There were a couple of hiccups due the the building, that they overcame during the installation. They handled the issues quickly and professionally. They were prompt and efficient. I’ve recommended to friends, all who have had successful installations. Their price was also competitive.

The installation went perfectly. No issues. Quality windows and doors and professional installation. You get what you pay for.

Initially we were a bit concerned, as we had asked if the project could be done by Christmas and were told it should not be a problem, however once we'd given the deposit and were called to schedule a measuring session, it was quite a ways out so given time for fabrication and scheduling an install it looked like it might not happen till Jan. However our sales person and the staff member who measured the windows said we would get them before the holiday. They were installed yesterday, the 27th of November, as promised after the measuring, so in plenty of time. We switched out our kitchen from a central, sliding window with fixed side windows to a central picture window with a set of casement windows on the sides. Huge difference, our yard overlooks a park and it's wonderful to see the view without the center bar, and poor condition glass. In our office we replaced the 2-panel slider with the same style, however the quality is tremendous, a huge difference. I've mentioned to friends I am having trouble with realizing the door is closed, as the glass is so clear that it looks like the old door when it was open. In addition the screens are virtually invisible. In our bedroom we changed the configuration from a 2-door slider to more of a french door look, with a pair of central sliders bracketed by solid panels. The central-locking screens work well, and the unit came with dual top-mounted sliding lockbolts built in. Really dresses up the room, we are changing our curtain setup in the room to make the door more visible. The install crew showed up right on time, and did a good job of not making a mess, and cleaning up after themselves. I had prepared everything by moving furniture out, removing window treatments and trimming roses and bushes outside the kitchen. I also had learned from the installer that the company was planning to put casing around the sliders, and would put up casing I supplied, which matched the rest of the house. I primed and painted it and cut a 45 degree angle on one end of each so they would only have to trim the straight end on uprights and one 45 on the top pieces. After they completed the installation they filled the nail holes and caulked everything. It will still need some more prep before the final paint but they did a good job. Respectful guys, polite and accommodating, the lead person walked me through everything and answered my questions. One thing I noticed right away was how much quieter it is in the house. There were quite a few kids playing in the park after the install, I closed the windows and doors and could no longer hear them. Looking forward to a hot day to see how well the windows perform reducing the pass-through of heat. On the final walkthrough I did discover a rip in the office slider screen, the lead person noted it and said I'd get a call back soon to set up a replacement of the screen material. I did get a call the next day and it's set up for the same week. We have a dog, and a sliding-door insert style doggy door, which no longer fit as the frame is thicker. I modified it to work with the new slider, and realized one of the top-mounted lockbolts would be a good way to add security to the unit, so the company is installing one when fixing the screen, for 60 dollars. I did not negotiate on that item, thought about it as I provided the casing which with paint cost more than that, given how accommodating they were with the project it's possible they would have discounted the price but we thought it was reasonable. My wife is very pleased with the results as well, we would recommend American Vision to others, and when it comes time to get windows for the rest of the house we'll call them back.

Great Job! My husband and I are very pleased with the results. We had 4 windows and a sliding door installed in our 2 bedroom condo. When it's 90 degree outside our home is in the 70's because of our new windows. Not only are they beautiful but practical. The price was very reasonable too. We initially met with Amir, who was such a pleasure to work with! He was very passionate about what he does and demonstrated integrity too. There was no surprises but everything was done within the give time frame at the cost we were quoted for. We would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for beautiful, reasonable priced, efficient windows!

They did do a good follow up but I went with another company to do my windows. The are right there. All I can say is I don't know about the installation aspect but at least coming out and being professional, doing the quote, providing me with a written quote, and following up. For what they were quoting, they were right in the ball park. I would use them again if I had the need.

The salesperson of this company was courteous and punctual but he deceived me into thinking that the windows glass color didn't have a green hue, even after I asked him twice. He described the glass as a grayish color. Later I found out that low E only comes in green but at this time the windows were already being manufactured. Strike one. They did allow me to change my installation twice due to unfinished remodeling work at my home and for that I was grateful. My biggest complaint is that they send one installer with a young apprentice that didn't even know how to hold the glass windows properly. The incompetence of the helper was obvious and the installer was forced to work double. The salesman who came to my home, the day I contracted with this company, spoke of an installation crew and the crew they sent me was one installer and a young novice. Strike two. The installer on the other hand was courteous, patient, calm, knowledgeable and was given the task of installing difficult windows on his own. He arrived on time and worked twelve long hours without a break. At the end of the night we refuse to sign the final papers because it was dark and we couldn't inspect the windows. We intended to inspect the windows in the morning and return the papers to the company by 10:00 am the next morning and we did. Because of our refusal to sign the papers at 8:00 pm on the day of installation, the installer, called his supervisor to let him know what we had said and the supervisor got impatient because he was still working past his working hours. Needless to say we were appalled and outraged with the treatment of this employee that did such an excellent job all by himself. Strike three. It is my belief that in order for a company to succeed it needs to compensate the employees of the caliber of the gentleman that came to install my windows because at the end these experts are the company. The impression I was left with is that this company exploits their employees for a profit and I am not OK with that. I will not employ them in the future.

It was a very good experience. They explained everything they did and were courteous throughout.

The windows were great, there was an issue with the installation of one of the windows (installer damaged the casing and tried to cover it up) however, American Vision Windows came out later and fixed the damage. They are a very responsive company, a couple years later there was an issue with the patio door, and American Vision made sure the issue (which was with the manufacture) was fixed. I highly recommend their company.

Everything about this company; from sales to install, was a great experience.

They had to reorder one window, as the type that I wanted wouldn't fit without tearing out tile in the kitchen. That extended the job by about a month, but am happy with the result. They got the rest of the windows installed in a weekend.

Window work was good but they really messed up our vertical blinds. We found them sitting on the floor, snipping pieces out of the blind to make new mounting holes, which was unsatisfactory & made many vanes too short. They also mishandled the main 20 ft. support rail so that it folded in half !

They were great, I intend to use them in the future with a new addition to my home.

Awful! First the salesman assured me he could replace my picture Windows that had no frames the same way. They came to my house busted out my Windows then brough in these large Bucky frames the Windows didn't fit so they hacked the wood trim frames around my exterior then refused to fix it until I signed a document saying the work was complete. Further they offered to commit fraud by charging hero for products and services not provided. Amir the salesman will promise you everything and deliver nothing but lies. I am currently investigating switch and bait where they sold me highly rated Windows submitted the bill for said Windows but installed a lesser quality window. Please see ratings for this branch they bring a book to your house that shows five stars the five stars is for the manufacturing company NOT this installer. Their installation was awful and they are not honest

American Vision did an excellent job replacing five of our original 1957 steel frame windows with Anlin Del Mar vinyl windows. Our job was a little different then the average window job because we did not retrofit our windows, as we decided to completely replace both the windows and the frames. We decided to do this in order to maintain the original look of our Mid Century Modern home and as a result we paid more in the long run, but it was well worth it. American Vision was polite, honest, and reliable and we plan on using them to replace the rest of the windows and sliding glass doors in our home. I did a ton of research in terms of which windows we should install and I narrowed it down to Anlin, Milgard, and Simonton. In the end I chose Anlin and I'm very happy with my decision. The Milgard and Simonton windows are great windows, but they couldn't match the overall quality and design of the Anlin windows. Please keep in mind that our particular job was a little pricey because of the removal of the window frames, if we had retrofitted the windows the price was literally cut in half. If you have to replace the frames with your window job do not be afraid of the price. The American Vision installers really know their construction and their stucco and our windows passed inspection the first time.

Hired American Vision Windows to replace the windows including two large sliders and a sun window. The crew was exceptionally polite and professional. All eight to ten of them smiled and shook my hand. The three trucks they brought were parked in such a way as to not disrupt my neighbors activities on the cul-de-sac I live on. The job was completed pretty quickly considering the amount they accomplished. The windows were beautifully installed and my house was pretty clean when they left. I am really happy with the service and the quality of the windows. I would highly recommend them.

Sept 7th ...5 months after signing the contract and 3 months over schedule and the job is still not finished. I have had to run the project make calls and follow up. Each time I call I have to start from the beginning. I received an email from them today notifying me there was an outstanding payment due. The person who called had no history of the project and did not know it was not even finished. We plan on replacing all of our windows in the next 24 months we will not be using American Vision.

The job went perfectly. We have used American Vision Windows before and have the greatest respect for this company. Their work is perfect, their crews are very careful and professional and do a wonderful job. I really wouldn't think of going anywhere else for doors and windows.

Wonderful experience, from the initial sales, installation, and follow-up with Jim Pope, the entire process was terrific - I am so happy with the windows and with such good customer service, I will tell everyone I know who is thinking about windows to contact American Vision!
