About us

Founding owners, husband and wife team Bill and Kathleen, started out as ordinary customers, looking to upgrade their own home with replacement windows and replacement patio doors. Seeking an energy-saving window and door solution, they found a series of poor contractors and a need for an improved service that customers can rely on. Bill and Kathleen felt that they could do it better and they have been revolutionizing the home improvement industry one customer at a time for over 15 years. American Vision Window is now the number one window replacement company in California and Arizona, and service areas include Ventura County, Los Angeles County, Orange County, San Diego County, Greater San Jose Area, and Arizona.

Description of Work: the seller had all of the info to retrofit our house, including all window sizes, locations, obstructions by phone and email. They estimated price. Came to the house to verify dimensions and price doubled. We found another provider who completed the job for far less than the original low American Vision estimate. Am Vision completely wasted our time. Seemed like they lowballed just to get an invite to the house. We were disappointed.

Description of Work: Installed 8 windows with new casings and sills. Installation went very well. Windows are excellent and have had many compliments on their appearance. I am impressed at how much quieter the house is because we live behind a very busy street.

Description of Work: I love my patio windows and new front door. When I sleep at night I notice the difference in the quietness of the room. The workers were friendly and clean and on time. One caveat: If you are in a real hurry to have your windows installed, you have to have a great amount of patience. I suppose it is because American Vision is so much in demand that the wait can be as much as 8 weeks. Lucky for me I wasn't in a big hurry. It was certainly worth it.
