Description of Work: Installed highest quality Anlin windows for only a little more than lesser |quality windows. This is the second house I have had Americn Vision install |windows and the service and windows are of highest quality.

Description of Work: Replaced all windows and sliding glass doors with vinyl. Replaced two wood exterior doors with fiberglass. Replace front double doors with wooden doors. The product and the work on windows/sliding glass doors was excellent. There were delays at various times that extended the job into the winter. The front doors were the last item installed.

Description of Work: Unlike their claims, they give the same sales pitch and high price as other window companies. They give you an inflated price, then when you say it's too high, they give you a line about how they can add your order onto a bigger order and give you a discount. I've heard the same from every window company I've talked to. They are no different at all, despite their claims.

Description of Work: There was a misunderstanding, or, perhaps, mis-information given about the outer edges of the windows. We had just had the house painted & the wooden frames were intentionally left unpainted per the sales guy from American Vision because supposedly the new windows were going to fit right over the old frames and cover them. This was not at all the case & when installation was complete the new windows looked terrible because of the shoddy old peeling frames surrounding them. It was a big hassle getting American Vision to pay for the painters to come back out & do the frames. I eventually had to drive to Simi Valley to get the check. Lots of phone calls & being transferred to different people. They eventually made it right & for that I am grateful but, it was enough of a problem that I will use a different company in the future. Also, one of the windows they installed leaks this blue sealer gunk even years later. Happily it does not leak water! To their credit, they installed 13 windows very quickly and other than the 2 problems mentioned, did a good job. Our salesman did a very good job of up-selling us on Anlin vs. Milgard windows & I'm glad we went with the Anlin's.

Description of Work: Replaced 8 windows and a sliding door with Anlin products. Every aspect of the job was done professionally and with a very high regard for my home. The person who did the measurements and the installers were exactly on time for the appointments. The installation crews, headed by Travis and Ryan, made sure my rugs and furnishings were protected before and work began. Everything was cleaned up when they finished, including sweeping up the vinyl shavings outside where two windows had to be trimmed. The sliding door was delivered with the slider on the wrong side. A very quick call to their office was all it took to get a replacement door ordered. |I would recommend this company without hesitation to anyone.
