custom cabinets
+ -1 moreBob'd team showed up when promised, performed the work very efficiently, offered several suggestions on item placement within the cabinet after their work was completed and did a great job of leaving our home clean, orderly and looking as though no work had been done...other than the now well-fitting cabinet they had trimmed down and fitted to match the other cabinet on the same wall. The gentlemen often asked my opinion as their work progressed, making sure it met with our expectations. They were polite, professional and courteous throughout their entire time in our home. I will definitely use Reed Design again and can comfortably give them a raving recommendation for any cabinet work you may need done in your home. You won't be disappointed! Thank you, Bob, for having such a great company...and crew!
Description of Work: Back in 2005, we had Wood Design (now called Reed Design) build some custom media cabinets for our family room. They are beautiful! As we replaced our CRT TV with a flat screen, we realized we no longer needed the cabinet to jut out from the wall to accommodate the deeper TV and by pushing the cabinet back into the niche created originally, the two cabinets Reed Design built for us would be more symmetrical. Bob Reed came to our home when it was convenient for us and gave us an estimate that was both reasonable and surprisingly much lower than expected. Additionally, he made some observations about how the lower cabinet door could be screened to match the overhead cabinet doors. This would allow us to place the door without worrying about the sub-woofer causing the glass to vibrate...possibly break. He also suggested adding an additional "skirt" to the back of the cabinet to cover the larger opening originally created for the larger TV, thereby hiding the wall behind.

custom cabinets
+ -1 moreThe guy who owns the company is Bill Woods. They are phenomenal. Their work is impeccable. Their work is timely. They did phenomenal work. I couldn't give them higher ratings.
Description of Work: Wood Design built 2 cherry media cabinets and a large center cabinet for the television with the speakers, pull out drawers, and soft-close custom built for DVDs and CDs on both sides. They put in oak cabinets above the refrigerator in our kitchen. They built in china cabinets with pull out drawers in a huge cut out in the dining area or the great room that matched the cabinetry in the kitchen.
