He said he needed the full amount so i gave the full amount and he got most of the work done. He did not show up and called him probably six times and have him tracked with them, i made another appointment with hem but he never showed up. They searched him and found out that there are other concerns about him, so i had to hire somebody else. I would never hire him.

Did not go well. Paid in full, only did half the job

Inspected the work late in the day. Wood was not cut or split to fit into my wood burning stove. I had showed the stove to "Jessie" as part of the original discussion. He acted surprised when I asked why the wood was not cut but agreed to do for an additional $200. I agreed and paid him the total $1700 at that time. Jessie and his team eventually finished the job, about 6 weeks later and only after I called him at least 20 times and at least a half dozen promised completion dates were broken. Jessie, all the while, was trying to convince me to hire him for more work! My advise is to either look else where for tree service or do not pay Jessie until he and his crew the job.
